Based on the results of 2015, the following conclusions can be drawn:
- Plasma TVs are gone from the market forever;
- The development of OLED technology has stopped; only LG is engaged in the production of OLED panels;
- Almost all television screens are LCD matrices with LED backlighting;
- Smart TV technology is actively developing, all manufacturers are improving their smart TV. There is a transition to new operating systems, and Internet services are being developed to provide content. Something new appears every year; what was in Smart TV just 2-3 years ago is already outdated.
