Confirmation of order receipt

In order to confirm receipt of the goods, you must log in to the website and enter “My Orders”.

The page for the corresponding order will open in front of you. We tick the items that we ordered and click “Confirm receipt of goods” again.

Please check again: Are you sure you want to confirm receipt of the item? After clicking “Submit”, order protection will end and the order will be considered completed. If you have no complaints about the received product, feel free to confirm the action.

After confirmation of receipt of the goods, the money is transferred to the seller and the transaction is completed. The opportunity to open a dispute will no longer be available.

The buyer is given 7 days to confirm receipt of the goods from the day when the status “Issued to recipient” appears in the postal tracking system. If you do not confirm receipt within the specified time, the transaction will close automatically and the money will be paid to the seller.

How to leave a review on Aliexpress?

  1. Reviews about the product and its seller can only be left within 30 days from the date of completion of the transaction;
  2. If you opened a dispute regarding an order and turned it into a claim, you will not have the opportunity to leave feedback;
  3. If you opened a dispute demanding a full refund and the seller satisfied your request, you will also not have the opportunity to leave feedback;
  4. If one of the participants in the transaction left a review with a rating of 4 or 5, and the second participant did not leave any review, then the party that did not receive the review will automatically receive it with a rating of 4;
  5. If one of the participants in the transaction left a review with ratings of 1, 2 or 3, and the second participant did not leave any feedback, then the party that did not receive feedback will remain without feedback by default;
  6. Within 30 days, the buyer can change the previously left review;
  7. The buyer can respond to feedback left by the seller.

The buyer will have the opportunity to leave a review and evaluate the product and the seller in more detail immediately after he confirms receipt of the goods.

If you decide to do this later, go to the “My Orders” section, go to the “Operations” tab and select “Manage Reviews” in the left menu. In the “Waiting for my reviews” tab, you can find the order for which you want to leave a review. Next to this order, click “Leave review”. After this, you will be taken to the page shown in the picture.

In this window, you can rate the deal and also give a star rating for the following items:

  • How accurate was the product description;
  • Are you satisfied with the communication with the seller;
  • How quickly the seller sent the goods.

In the text comment field, you can express your opinion about the product and its seller within 1000 characters in Russian or English. If you wish, you can upload real photos of the received product. After clicking the “Publish” button, the review will be left.

How can I change a review I previously left?

Both the buyer and the seller can change a review previously left. To do this, you need to go to the “My Orders” section, go to the “Operations” tab and click “Manage Reviews” in the upper left corner. Select the “Active Reviews” tab, find the order for which we want to change the review and click the “Review Review” button.

You can change a previously left review within 30 days from the date of leaving the original review and only if its rating is less than 3 stars. If you entered a rating higher than 3, the “Review Review” button will not be available.

After the buyer makes a purchase on the website of the Aliexpress online store, next to the product he ordered, he will see the inscription: “awaiting delivery.”

Many buyers ask questions about this, for example, “what does this inscription mean, why does the seller not send the parcel for a long time?”

Firstly, if you see such an inscription, it means that the order has been accepted, but the goods have not yet been shipped.

Usually sellers pack and ship it within 3-7 days. Each seller sets the departure time himself, but the buyer himself can adjust the time. Sometimes there will be delays due to weekends and holidays. The buyer needs to monitor the meter and control the entire process. There is such a counter near the inscription; if it does not send the parcel within the specified time frame, the administration of the aliexpress website will return the money back. It often happens that it is not sent, but there is no need to worry about this. If order protection has not yet ended, the buyer can extend the time for sending the parcel. This can be done at will, sometimes it just happens that holidays last a very long time, especially Chinese New Year, so sellers may not contact you during this period. If you decide that you still need the product, you can extend the time for sending the parcel. The main thing is to keep an eye on the buyer protection counter; if the protection period expires, it will be difficult to get your money back. You should never leave things to chance; any transaction must be controlled. Especially if it concerns a large amount of money.

If the seller does not send the parcel within the specified time frame and is online, you can write to him and find out when he will send the parcel. You can write to him either by email or through the usual button for contacting sellers; another option is to write to the seller in chat. You need to write in English, it is advisable to use an online translator. Or you can download the “Trade Manager” application and communicate through it, there is no need to translate anything here, messages are automatically translated into the language that you set in the settings.

To see the status of the order and the counter where the departure date is indicated, you must first go to the aliexpress website, then go through authorization if you are registered. If not, then you need to register, via email or social networks. After you have placed an order, all product characteristics, parcel status and more can be viewed in the “My Aliexpress” section, then click on “my orders”.

In the new window, select the “all orders” category, and then click on the inscription “awaiting dispatch.” This category will contain all the products you previously ordered that sellers have not yet shipped.

Then click on the inscription “more details” next to the product. Here you can also increase the processing time of the goods or refuse it altogether.

If during order processing, neither the seller nor the buyer performs any actions, the transaction will be reset to zero. That is, if the seller does not send the parcel and the buyer does not extend the order processing time, then the administration of the aliexpress website cancels your transaction and returns the money.

If you change your mind about purchasing a product and want to cancel your order. This can be done until the goods have been shipped. To do this, click next to the product “more details” and select the “cancel order” button. Then you need to fill out a form where you need to indicate the reason for refusing the transaction. For example, it is best to indicate the following reason: “I placed an order by mistake.” Then you will get your money back very quickly, and you won’t have to wait long. Also, if you refuse the product, a window will automatically open where you will be offered the opportunity to complain about the seller. You need to open a dispute if the seller writes to you that he has already sent the parcel, but does not provide evidence of this. If he sent the parcel, he must give you a track code, which can be tracked and checked where the parcel is located. If there is no track code or it is not tracked, and he does not agree to cancel the transaction, you need to open a dispute. After this, you indicate the reasons for the dispute, and the site administration returns the money back to the buyer.

The money will be returned to the account from which it was withdrawn; if you did not find it there, most likely it was transferred to the Alipay system if you registered in it.

Never close a dispute until you have received a tracking code. Very often, when a buyer wants to cancel an order, he clicks cancel, but the seller must confirm it. But many sellers, afraid of losing customers, then write to them that they sent the package, there was just an error on the site. In this case, you cannot take the seller’s word for it; you need to demand confirmation of this. If there is a track code and you can use it to track the parcel on any website for tracking goods abroad, then everything is fine. But, if the seller gave you a track code and it cannot be tracked, you must inform him that you want to return the money, since you cannot track the parcel. If he asks you to wait, you can wait, then only as long as the protection lasts, no more. Otherwise you may lose money.

A failure on the site sometimes occurs, but this is very rare; most often the product is in the awaiting status for more than the established period, due to the fault of the seller. Most often, due to the large volume of orders, the seller does not have time, but sometimes scammers come across. Therefore, in order to distinguish a scammer from an honest seller, you should study his rating and reviews of his product. Sellers with a high rating are unlikely to cheat; most likely, they simply do not have time to ship on time due to the large number of orders. If you ask to extend the protection, a conscientious seller will always agree and ask for an apology for the delay of the parcel. But scammers, on the contrary, will try to grow old as much as possible, delay time, or will not get in touch at all.

Aliexpress order statuses - description and explanation

Sometimes I get asked questions about what do orders on Aliexpress mean? and what to expect from them. I would like to clarify right away: I mean the status, and not the tracking of the parcel (there will be another article on this subject later).

Indeed, despite its long existence, the Aliexpress marketplace still periodically amazes novice users with its “intuitive interface.” Although, I have to admit, now it’s still a little simpler than it was the same year ago :)

But enough lyrical digressions, let's get to the point.

Where can I see the status of my order on Aliexpress?

You can view the status of your orders by logging into Aliexpress and going to the page with a list of orders (). In the list of orders, statuses are displayed in the corresponding columns.

The column with the main order status is highlighted in red on the screen. Green - column with additional status/warning.

Let's look first main statuses of orders on Aliexpress, the sequence of which as a whole constitutes the “life cycle” of an order:

  1. Payment is pending. This status means that you have placed an order, but have not yet paid for it, and the system is waiting for the transfer of funds to change the status. This status can last from a couple of hours (for purchases from the section) to 20 days, as far as I know. When the allotted time expires, the order is canceled and closed. You can find out how much time is left for payment if you go directly to the order page (there is a counter there).
  2. Payment verification. This status replaces the previous one after you pay for the order. The verification lasts up to 24 hours (during major sales, like, it can be extended to 2-3 days). At this stage, no action is required from you.
  3. Expected shipping. After the system verifies and confirms your payment, the order will automatically receive this status. Its duration depends on how much time the seller has allocated for processing the order (the phrase on the product page “Dispatching the goods within ... business days”) + 2-4 days, depending on how many weekends there are during this period. As a rule, most sellers change this status before the time on the counter runs out (look at the order page). But if the seller is slow, you can try to give him more time. If the time on the meter runs out at this stage, the order is canceled automatically and the money is returned to you within 10-15 business days.
  4. The order has been sent. This status means that the seller has processed your order and sent you the package. No action is required from you until you receive the parcel or the Order Protection time expires. Just in case, I’ll repeat: Do not press the CONFIRM button if you have not received your parcel. This button indicates confirmation that you have received your package, not confirmation that your order has been dispatched. This is especially true for users of the Aliexpress mobile application (), since the interface there is less obvious in this regard. In general, the duration of this status is determined by the Order Protection period (indicated on the product page, usually lasts from 15 to 60/90 days). Your actions are simple and obvious: you received the package and are satisfied - click the “Confirm receipt” button, the package has not arrived, and the Protection period ends - .
  5. Completed/Closed. The first status usually comes into effect after you confirm receipt of the purchase/the Protection period expires/the dispute regarding this order is closed in favor of any party. In all cases, except for the closure of the dispute, after this status appears, you have another 15 days of so-called post-Protection, during which you can still open a dispute if you did not follow the Protection deadlines or the incoming purchase was suddenly found to be defective. The "Closed" status appears when the order was canceled at the "Waiting for payment", "Checking payment" or "Waiting for shipment" stage.
  6. Order frozen. Quite a rare status compared to others, which is a signal of suspicious activity by the seller. The appearance of this status means that the Aliexpress administration suspects the seller of fraud and is now checking his activities, simultaneously freezing all his orders. In this case, you also don’t need to do anything; the order itself will change its status to “Order sent” or “Closed”, depending on the decision of the administration. In the case of the second status, the money will be returned automatically.

Now let's move on to the additional statuses of orders on Aliexpress, which are also explanations of the main ones. You can find some of them in the green column on the first screen or on the order page itself.

The main status is highlighted in red, and the additional status is highlighted in green, which is also a warning or explanation of the main status.

If we talk about what additional statuses of orders on Aliexpress are, then:

  • Order cancelled/Canceled orders. This status appears if you request to cancel your order while you are waiting for payment, payment processing, or order processing.
  • Confirmation received. This means that you have pressed the button to confirm receipt of the parcel.
  • Confirmation time has expired. This status appears opposite the order and is displayed in the list of orders in the case when Order Protection ends before you confirm receipt of the purchase. If you received a package and simply forgot to confirm it, that's okay. If you did not follow the terms of Protection and want to return the money, you need to quickly open a dispute; you have 15 days to do this from the moment this status appears.
  • Payment Processing. This status is displayed on the order page (the main statuses are “Completed” / “Closed”) and means that the above-mentioned 15-day post-Protection period has come into effect, during which you can still get your money back if necessary. You will have to count this period yourself; there is no counter. After these 15 days, the Aliexpress system sends the money to the seller.
  • There is a dispute going on/The dispute is closed. These statuses are displayed in the list of orders and are clickable - by clicking on them you can view information about the ongoing/closed dispute regarding your purchase.

This turned out to be a super-mega-long post, thank you for being able to read it :)

It seems like I didn’t forget anything, I looked at all the statuses of orders on Aliexpress that I had encountered. If I suddenly missed something or have additional questions, write in the comments.

And finally: if this post was useful to you, you can say “Thank you” to us by sharing it on any social network convenient for you or by joining

Purchasing various goods from online stores has become very popular these days. Without leaving home, you can study the catalog of goods provided in a particular store. Even large grocery chains have the opportunity to select lots, pay and order delivery to the address you specify. If the order concerned the clothing, appliances or furniture sections, you can write reviews about the service or impressions of the purchase there.

But basically, this is where the work with the order ends. On the Aliexpress online platform, everything is a little different. The administration is concerned about the quality of services and assortment of its site. Therefore, the seller awaits confirmation from the buyer that he has received the parcel.

Why do you need to confirm receipt of goods?

Many inexperienced Aliexpress users wonder what it means to “confirm receipt of goods on Aliexpress.” Every time you order the selected lot, the buyer receives a notification letter from the Aliexpress service by email. It indicates the exact time and date of shipment of the parcel and a link to confirmation of receipt.

Until the seller receives the order in hand, you cannot click on the link confirming receipt of the purchase.

Why do you need proof of purchase at all, you ask? In fact, this is how the consumer protection system on Aliexpress works. Its main goal is to prevent fraud on the part of sellers. That is, the money you sent for the purchase does not go to the seller’s wallet, but to the Aliexpress website system. They remain there until the buyer confirms receipt of the order and leaves feedback about the purchase. Only after this the site sends money to the buyer’s account.

When is the purchase complete?

  • the buyer personally confirms receipt of the parcel by clicking the button with the appropriate name on the page of all his orders, selecting the received lot;
  • The buyer clicks on the link in the email message. Even if the buyer accidentally clicks on it, the deal will be closed. In this case, the buyer will not be able to monitor the movement of the parcel;
  • end of the product protection timer;
  • after the end of an aggravated dispute in favor of the seller;
  • after the dispute is closed and the decision to pay partial compensation to the buyer. The balance will be credited to the seller.

Random confirmation of receipt

There are cases of random confirmation of receipt of a purchase. This happens especially often when using the mobile version of the site. In the application, the confirmation button and product tracking are very close. There is a risk of hitting the wrong button, after which you will no longer be able to track the parcel.

In this case, there are several possible scenarios:

  • if the item is ordered from a reliable, verified buyer, then it will definitely arrive. Especially if at the time of confirmation the parcel left China. But if there is something wrong with the parcel, it will not be possible to open a dispute and return the money or exchange the purchase;
  • if the confirmation was received before the seller sent the parcel, or the seller has not yet been personally verified by you, there is a risk of not receiving the purchase at all;
  • If confirmation is random, there is a small chance to contact the online support chat. This must be done immediately, before the system has time to transfer funds to the seller. If the payment was large and was made using a bank card, you can try to use the Chargeback procedure and return the lost funds.

How to confirm an order on Aliexpress

To confirm receipt of the parcel, you must go to the Aliexpress website, select the menu item in your personal account “my orders”. Next, if there are a lot of orders, you need to select the incoming order and click the “confirm receipt” button. After this, a window will open with data about the movement of the parcel and a countdown timer until the end of the protection.

Next to the tracking number you need to check the box and select the “confirm receipt of order” button. As a result, the site will display a small window warning that you confirm receipt and then the protection will be terminated.

The last point is carried out at the request of the buyer. After confirmation, a special page opens on which the buyer is asked to rate the lot, the seller’s work, delivery speed and write a short review based on these three criteria.

Of course, you don’t have to waste time and not go through the operation of confirming delivery of the package. But if everything went well, you are satisfied with the purchase, the seller’s communication, and the delivery pleasantly surprised you with its speed, then you can spend a couple of minutes. After all, it’s always nice to receive faster payment for work well done, a good review and an increase in rating. This means further development and attracting new customers.

P.S. Friends, when shopping in online stores, be sure to use. As they say, if you save, you earn it!

With this I want to say goodbye to you, happy shopping everyone!

Basically, even if you do not confirm receipt of the goods, the transaction will close automatically after the warranty period has expired. But it’s still better to confirm receipt so that the seller doesn’t fidget, and writing a review about a product is our sacred business, whether it’s good or bad.

One way or another, you will receive a letter in which you will be asked to leave a review about the product you received. If you ignore this request, then after some time the seller will be given five stars. If he deserved it, no question, but what if he doesn’t?

How to confirm receipt of goods?

To confirm receipt of the order, go to Aliexpress at MY ORDERS. Next, click on the ORDER SENT item to see only those orders that we have not yet received:

Now we look for our product and click on the button:

An action confirmation frame will pop up, we agree and we will be redirected to a page where we can leave a review about the product.

How to write a review on Aliexpress?

I filled out the review like this:

You can, of course, not write anything, but it won’t be very nice, since
