We recently had another family vacation in Thailand. I don’t think about writing much about him - Tai is a hackneyed topic and a hundred-million-dollar article about him is simply not needed. There will be some points, but today we will talk about car parking at Sheremetyevo Airport.
Previously, I had no problems with parking at all. When I worked in an office that was in an industrial zone with security, I simply left my car at the office. Then, when I started working at home, I didn’t bother, bala helmet, I left the car right next to the house. In addition, when you leave for a month, paying for parking is expensive. And now we were leaving for only two weeks. I didn’t buy helmets for my car this year. Therefore, the question arose of what to do with it.
First I walked around the area. Surprisingly, all parking lots are occupied, there are no free spaces. In the only parking lot with free spaces, and this was an underground parking lot, they charged a ten-dollar price tag for a month - expensive.
Well, based on the results, I decided to see what was happening with parking at the airport. In the end, even if parking there would be the same as at home, you could save on a taxi. In the end, it could still be cheaper than parking the car at home and taking a taxi to the airport (in the end it turned out that way).

About the parking price
In terms of price, most parking lots at Sheremetyevo advertised a price tag of 150 rubles per day. Park and Fly – 250 rubles. Official parking is generally space, but still Park and Fly is not cheap. They have a discount card that works from the first parking lot. They have free luggage packing. But, whatever one may say, you can find it cheaper. Actually, the parking lot itself is nothing special, an ordinary gravel area in the backyard of the ball with a couple of trailers and a concrete fence around the perimeter.
In total, in two weeks parking my car at Park and Fly became 3500. A taxi would cost me 2000 rubles through Yandex Taxi there and back. For those who live further from Sharik, a taxi would cost 3,000 rubles, plus perhaps 500 rubles for baggage packing, but Park & Fly packing is free. Therefore, for a two-week or shorter stay, parking makes sense.
Well, as for the price tag - in combination with a website with reservations, a 24-hour telephone, adequate staff, free transfers and baggage packing, you will never regret it. They are definitely worth the money, especially in the short term.
About the transfer from Park and Fly to the terminal
Both Park and Fly and most other parking lots have free shipping for departure and pick-up from arrival. Park and Fly has a really fast transfer. That is, when we parked the car in place, the minibus was already waiting for us with loaded suitcases. When picking up, from the call to the arrival of the minibus it took about 10 minutes.
Car safety
The most important factor. Nothing happened to our car. There was a normal contract, there was a cash receipt. There are a lot of cars in the parking lot, some of them are not cheap. Nothing more to add.
Disadvantages of Park and Fly
I didn't notice any major problems. There are minor flaws. Mostly they are at the transfer stage.
The driver who transferred us and also packed our suitcases. Incredibly obviously wanted a tip. This doesn’t happen even among the Turks. There is a hefty tip box on the luggage package. And when we arrived at the departure point, and the driver had not yet received a tip, he opened the luggage compartment, turned away so pouting, put his hands on his hips, saying, get your suitcases yourself. But after 100 he became extremely nice again and rushed to help. Funny and not pleasant.
When picked up from arrival, the driver did not even get out of the minibus and did not open the luggage compartment. I was confused for a couple of minutes whether this was our transfer at all and that luggage should be thrown into the cabin. As a result, they caught their suitcases around the cabin. Which is neither safe nor convenient. There is a luggage compartment, but the driver had to get up his ass, meet the guests, open the luggage compartment and throw in the suitcases.
If you don’t know the Sheremetyevo area, it may be a little difficult to find parking; it would be a good idea to add the place to the Yandex directory to make it convenient to find parking through Yandex Navigator.
At night, the parking lot is poorly lit and the loading and unloading areas are small, although there is generally enough space.
But, I repeat, except for the driver on the transfer, everything else is rather minor, which will probably be easily fixed if they continue to work. But the drivers need to be trained, they really spoil the impression of the service, and in Park and Fly the level of service is the main factor of choice compared to dozens of other parking lots.

Overall, it's definitely worth using. They are in Sharik, Domodedovo, Vnukovo. On short trips, a business trip or a short vacation, this method is even more convenient than a taxi.
And for regions up to 500 km around Moscow it’s a dream. Instead of a rotten train, carrying suitcases between stations, I got into my car and went straight to the airport, beauty!
