How to connect

Correct access to the service website is guaranteed only when using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser version no lower than 5.0 for the Microsoft Windows operating system with support for ActiveX, Secure Connection (secure connection) and displaying information in Russian, or another Web browser that meets the specified requirements .

Equipment used to access the Internet (personal computer, laptop, PDA, Smartphone, etc.) must provide the ability to use the service necessary to access the site, as well as the ability to write information to a removable rewritable storage medium (Disk) and read information from disk.

The disk is intended for recording and storing the Client’s Personal Code in a protected (encrypted) form. Depending on the equipment used by the client, the following can be used as a disk:

  • floppy disk (FD - Floppy Disk 3.5"");
  • memory card (compact Flash, etc.) connected to the USB port of the computer;
  • CD recordable (CD-RW);
  • portable hard drive connected to a USB or LPT port (HD - Hard Disk) of a computer;
  • another removable rewritable storage medium.

The device intended for connecting the disk must be defined by the operating system as a logical disk with a name in the form of a Latin letter in the range from before .


Sign in « Internet bank", why on the main page:

  • From the drop-down list, select the link containing name of your bank
  • In the "User" field: enter your Username
  • In the "Password" field: enter your password and select the button<ДАЛЕЕ>

    Registration in the system

    To connect to Internet banking from BelVEB Bank, the first thing you need to do is apply for a payment card, if you don’t already have one. If there is, then you won’t have to go to the bank.

    You just need to find the nearest ATM or information kiosk of BelVEB Bank or any of the partner banks.

    Insert the card into the ATM (info kiosk) and select the item "Internet bank", after opening access, the device will give you a receipt on which your login and password will be indicated.

    After that, go to the bank’s website, enter all the data and press the button "To come in". The system will ask you to come up with a personal code and confirm it via SMS, which will be sent to the phone number that was specified at the ATM.

    Then all that remains is to pay for the connection, which costs 2 BYN, and “re-login” to the system.

    Of course, we had to run, but we managed :)


    Data recovery

    Although you don’t have to go to the bank, you still can’t restore your data while sitting at home at your computer. If you have forgotten your login and password, you can only restore your data at an ATM (info kiosk).

    Similar to connecting, in the device menu you need to select the item "Internet bank" and function "Change password". The issued check (after the password) will indicate your current login.


    Functional

    There are many functions available on the Internet banking home page. First of all, your gaze falls on the information about the card and its balance. Below you will find information about your account number, deposits and loans, if you have them open.

    All payments that you previously made in online banking will be automatically saved and displayed on the main page, but for some reason they cannot be grouped or sorted.

    As it turned out, the service "Issue a card" it still doesn’t work, and you can get a loan online only if you have a salary card. Otherwise, you will have to go to the bank.

    Therefore, we became interested: why do we need the ability to open an account? Maybe you can open an account in Internet banking and pay for services without a card? We contacted the contact center with this question.

    The contact center assured us that it was possible to top up the account, but it would still not be possible to pay for services in the Internet bank without a card, which made us even more bewildered.

    After long negotiations with consultants, it seemed to us that, apparently, the bank itself did not fully understand why such a service was available in the service. According to the contact center, before making a deposit, a link to open which is also on the main page, the client needs, first of all, to open an account.

    But a pleasant bonus was the opportunity not only to see the addresses of the nearest branches, information kiosks and ATMs directly from the main page of the Internet bank, but also to find them on the map.

    In chapter "Payments" we found a standard ERIP system with the ability to search for services, as well as a section called "Popular payments", which will undoubtedly make life easier for many users of the system.

    Receipts for transactions are located in the same section, here you can view transactions for any month, as well as print a receipt, but we could neither save nor send it by e-mail.

    In chapter "Translations" we found services "Free payment" And "Transfer to card", which are available in almost any online banking.

    Therefore, we were more interested in the function "International transfers", which does not imply transfers to cards of foreign banks, as we expected, but international urgent transfers from BLIZKO.

    So now BelVEB Bank clients don’t even have to get up from their favorite chair to quickly transfer money.

    There is a service in the same section "Electronic money", which will please many owners of electronic wallets.

    And at the very end of the list we noticed a new section called "Pennies-Skarahods" and they immediately became interested in him.

    "Pennies-Skarahods"- these are instant money transfers that you can receive without being a bank client; you just need to have your passport with you. But even here we were disappointed, the section turned out to be empty :(

    As experts assured us, it is also under development, as is the issuance of cards online. So we just have to wait a little while BelVEB Bank finalizes its system.


    Tester's opinion

    Internet banking from BelVEB Bank undoubtedly has good functionality. For example, a very useful function is to search for ATMs and branches, and restoring authorization data for the system is not difficult.

    But empty sections such as "Issue a card" And "Pennies-Skarahods" I was not pleased. Plus, when asked about opening an account at the contact center, they did not answer anything useful.

    Transfers can only be made to a BelVEB Bank card, and to cards of other banks only through the function "Free payment".

    On the other hand, BLIZKO transfers and the ability to replenish electronic wallets were a big plus, which still managed to improve the overall impression of the system.

    We constantly test self-service systems of Belarusian banks. And although the results for 2017 have already been summed up, today we will look at what new and interesting things have appeared in the Internet bank Bank BelVEB.

    Firstly, now you don’t have to look for an ATM to register. The system has 2 ways to register remotely. The first can only be used by a bank client who has issued a product, for example, a card.

    The second method is registration using MSI. And as a result, it is not necessary to be a bank client :)

    Secondly, to restore your login and password, you no longer have to go anywhere, just use the appropriate link when logging in :)

    True, you will have to indicate your full name, passport details and card number, but you will be provided with your login and a new password to log in at the same minute :)

    Now let's take a look at the updated functionality.

    The functionality of the service, in addition to the usual services for us, such as SMS notifications, setting limits and statements, has been supplemented with a new option - "Cash withdrawal using code".

    It's quite simple to use. By indicating the amount to withdraw, you will receive one part of the code, and the second will be sent to your mobile phone. All you have to do is enter both parts of the code at the ATM and get your money :)

    Unfortunately, things are still the same with translations. You can only transfer money to a BelVEB Bank card.

    But you can use such transfer services as “Pennies-Skarahody” and international urgent transfers “BLIZKO” :)

    Now in Internet banking you can not only open an account, but open it with a virtual card.

    If you have a virtual plastic card, the opening of which costs 4 BYN, you can top up your account, cash out and pay for purchases on the Internet.

    However, with the advent of the virtual card, I had a question: “Why then do you need a regular account opening, which also costs 4BYN? After all, all its functions can now be performed by virtual plastic?”

    Even the contact center could not answer this question for me:

    — If you have a card, you can make transactions on any website (international card) and in your personal Internet Bank account (pay for services), if you only want to cash out funds from your account, you don’t have to issue a card.

    - Clear. Thank you. And if I open only an account, will it not have any advantages over a virtual card?

    — You will not be able to pay for goods and services on the Internet and use all the functionality of Internet banking.

    In addition to ordering a card, the Internet bank also offers not only remote opening of deposits, as is usually the case, but also several online loans :)

    And now - PF-manager

    You can find a financial assistant in the section "My office". It analyzes your expenses and income for any period, and also converts amounts in different currencies.

    And the last news for today - "Sign up for service". Any bank client can choose the nearest office, purpose of visit, date and convenient time. After which you need to leave your contact information, and you will be received without queues :)


    Personal opinion of the correspondent

    The first thing to praise Bank BelVEB is for the opportunity to register remotely and with the help of MSI.

    But we will scold Internet banking a little. The first thing I noticed when I logged into the system was that it freezes a lot at times: (Well, but it doesn’t give any errors!

    I was very pleased with the opportunity to open not just an account, but a virtual card, which can be used almost like regular plastic - you can even withdraw money from an ATM using a code :)

    We also liked the PF manager; it analyzes not only your expenses, but also your income :) And the “Sign up for service” function will save you from tedious queues :)

    Since our last testing, the system has grown significantly, although a couple of questions remain.
