Armies of devoted fans are far from the only audience that closely follows domestic celebrities. Pictures of Russian celebrities appear daily on Instagram in the feeds of so-called antiques. They are often called haters, and to some extent this is true, but over many years of hatred they have mutated into a large Internet subculture and acquired a new name - “antiques”. This word refers to both each member of the community and their groups in in social networks. The Internet is their only field of activity; in real life, “antiques” cannot be found carousing in a nightclub or gatherings in cafes. If you have come across a page that is replete with critical materials addressed to celebrities, including the “golden trio from “House-2” - Ksenia Borodina, Alena Vodonaeva and Olga Buzova - then you have discovered “antik” - a community of the new Internet -subcultures of the XXI century.

Who do antiques hate?

Popular women become the objects of attention of the "antiques". Not only the participants in the famous TV show "Dom-2", but also those who have an affair with a star bachelor, or those who have suffered sudden fame on the Internet, can come into their sight. Roughly speaking, “antiques” do not like those women who have achieved popularity, in their opinion, in a dubious way. “Antics” always accuse them of something and condemn them for something; to come across a laudatory post here is as surprising as to hear a compliment from the lips of Bozhena Rynskaya or Lena Miro. If there is a user in the group who does not agree with the opinion of the group, then all the anger and the most elegant curses are redirected towards him. Thus, the “antiques” are a kind of self-proclaimed morality police who have carried out lynching in the vastness of the Internet.

Dictionary of "antiques"

“Antics” undoubtedly consider themselves people with a sense of humor and accompany each photo with the most sarcastic commentary possible.Some may think that calling them a subculture is too strong, but such groups have many characteristics to be considered such. For example, the average person is unlikely to understand the publications of “antiques” the first time, since they have their own dictionary of terms - slang in which they communicate.

“Tupuz”, “Tyabaka”, “Pisaka Sasaka”, “Terebyaka”, “Trans Olezhka” - Olga Buzova;

“My My Podmoy” - Couple of Olga Buzova and Dmitry Tarasov;

“Sisyakovich”, “Anna Pepa”, “Down down Boeing” - Anna Semenovich;

Charter of "antiques"

The “antiques” do not have generally accepted rules of behavior, however, on the largest platform “Forum of the Community of People Who We Are”, where, before the advent of Instagram, the current “forest nurses” accumulated, there are several canons: use profanity within reason, discuss in topics only what Regarding the topic itself, do not delete messages that you have already published, and also do not leave comments containing only emoticons. Otherwise - blocking. By the way, strict but fair rules allow new forum visitors to quickly immerse themselves in the discussion.

The mechanism of operation of "antiques"

The knowledge of the “antiques” in the field of show business can be envied by many secular journalists. Showing your superiority over representatives of the media is one of the favorite pastimes of the “rogue girls”. Unlike society chroniclers, who have on their desks a set of laws obliging them to have confirmation of any information, “antiques” can give out news based on rumors and gossip. It is not surprising that the “antiques” were the first to talk about the most scandalous event of the year - the separation of Olga Buzova and Dmitry Tarasov, ahead of all publications.

“Virgos” notice all the little things, they keep track of who their heroes follow on social networks and who they unfollow, who they like, and who they write comments to. In addition, the pages of not only artists, but also their relatives, colleagues, and friends come under close attention. So, the “antiques” will definitely come across a photo of Anna Semenovich on someone else’s account, which they will compare with an edited photo on the singer’s own page. After which, under the hashtags #AnnaPepa and #DownBoeing, a sarcastic post will appear about the real size of Semenovich.

Subscribers themselves often provide materials for “antique” publications. The structure of the work is somewhat reminiscent of the system by which Life works with citizen journalists through the LifeCorr application. Here users send video, photo materials, etc. to the editor and get paid for it. The “antiques” have the same principle, only no one receives money for the materials sent and they are driven not by the opportunity to earn money, but by the desire to publicly humiliate those whom they love to hate.

Exposing the "antiques"

But it is impossible to say that the “antiques” feel complete impunity; their main fear is to be declassified. Among the celebrities there are those who answer the haters in the same coin: they arrange a public execution, exposing and publishing on their page a photo of the “antique”. Thus, TV presenter Ksenia Borodina, after a year of activity of one of the “antiques,” published the name of her Internet offender, taking apart the woman’s appearance, marital status and behavior:

“I made a collage of a family... A family that is alien to me, which I don’t know at all, but this woman dedicated a year of her life to us! Every day she tried to hurt me, my husband, my child, my beloved mother, my family, my friends, children my friends... This woman led the group for a year, convincing me that I had a fake family. She wrote that I got married by chance, having become pregnant in February. She couldn’t believe that I was proposed to on my birthday in March, because! they love me! She wrote until the very end that I gave birth in November and was hiding my child so that the dates would coincide! She wrote to all my former friends and my husband’s friends. I want this woman who lives in the Caucasus to feel ashamed for just a minute! everything she did! I have a lot of friends and acquaintances in Azerbaijan, this is a country of worthy and respected people!”- wrote Ksenia Borodina.

Where does the wind blow from

"Antiques" really don't like being called haters , they prefer the fashionable term - insider. The idea to be called by this not bad word came from the West. Many foreign tabloids refer to the famous anonymous Anty as an insider, who is often called an analogue of Russian “antiques”. His publications often become the basis for investigations by journalists, he never mentions the names of his heroes - readers do it for him. Anthy tells its readers about celebrities cheating on their spouses, about drug and alcohol addiction of show business stars. Here is one of his publications, in which many saw the musician Jared Leto:

"Gossip about the Met Gala 2016. Award for the most interesting place, which lets you smuggle cocaine into a party, goes to this Oscar winner who also sings. Well, or to the singer who has an Oscar. Either way, the top of the props he brought to the Met Gala are the perfect hiding place," Anty writes.

Why do they hate everyone

Before starting the material, the editors turned to several “antiques” with a request to answer two questions: “What is your occupation and marital status?” and "Why do you hate everyone?" The answers of the "antiques" are published above. The ironic answer that they are driven by “zOvis” seems to be the only truthful one. One way or another, they prefer to consider themselves “watchdogs” of morality.

“In my opinion, the secret of a good result in Prisma lies in a good source photograph - graphic, contrasting, light.

Let's take a selfie as an example. The face should be well lit, framed large, and not blend into the background in contrast and colors. This works in principle for all filters.

Poor (face poorly lit) Good

Let's look at specific filters

1) Gothic. It is used in the second example, it is especially good with large volumetric objects, where the light emphasizes their shape. For example, for selfies and large portraits. It also works well for landscapes, making the result look like impressionist paintings.

2) Candy– the spitting image of Van Gogh. It works well with landscapes.

3) Transverse Line, Heisenberg, Urban– for graphic and contrasting shapes and silhouettes.

4) Pencil Curly Hair Suitable for any graphic and geometric photography where highlights and shadows are emphasized.

5) DC good for contrasting subject photographs

Do you like to laugh? I love it very much, but it’s difficult to surprise and amuse me with anything. Jokes on the level of KVN, Comedy Club and Vanya Urgant don’t bother me. I’ll tell you what’s bothering me later, when I have inspiration. I'll tell you about the moment. I started Instagram quite recently - at the beginning of this year. I took pictures of food and nature. In general, everything is like everyone else. Until one day I was accused of running a fake account for a YouTube beauty blogger. I had to go on the Internet to find out who framed Roger Rabbit Andy... I came across that very profile, laughed (because the captions for the photos were actually delivered), commented something and went into the subscriptions of this “fake”. To my joy, I found several similar, but more popular accounts there. A little later I learned that such communities are called anti-fan clubs.

What is this anti-fan club? This is an open (or closed) profile where unfortunate photos of the “star” to whom the community is dedicated are posted, and subscribers leave rather funny comments. I was able to dig up only seven such profiles, but there are enough of them to periodically go there and laugh a lot at what you see or read. You can also practice your wit there. Below you will find addresses of Instagram accounts, topics for discussion and a small glossary specific to each of the communities. Without knowing some definitions, you will not immediately understand what we are talking about. So, forward to the hee-hahas and bellies bursting with laughter! We read and envy! 🙂
