It’s also worth talking separately about one category of user modifications. So-called big mods (or Overhauls) make up only a small part of the archive, but they are often the most desirable for players who want to completely change their gaming experience. The fact is that this category includes global mods created by entire teams of modders, so if you want to radically refresh the game without installing a whole bunch of things, you will probably be interested in this section.

Extra single -- player garages
So many cars and so few places to store them. These two mods, Single Player Garage and Extra Single Players Garages, add over a dozen new garages to the game, so your favorite cars will always be at hand.

In the downloaded archive you will find a “Bin” folder with three files:
- dinput8.dll is the latest version of the ASI loader, which allows you to load libraries with the .asi extension
- ScriptHookV.dll - allows you to use custom scripts for GTA 5.
- NativeTrainer.asi is a regular trainer, you don't have to use it. It has all kinds of cheats for single player, such as: change skin, time of day, use teleportation, immortality and much more.
Take dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll and put them in the game directory (for example Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V).
Most mods have just one .asi file that needs to be placed in the same folder, but there are exceptions. If you see several files, be sure to look at the instructions on the page where you downloaded the mod.
Community Script Hook V .NET
Script Hook allows you to use scripts (mods) written in the .NET language. Some mods (for example Simple Passenger) mods require another tool - Community Script Hook V .NET. For it to work you will need:
LUA plugin
It is needed for mods that use .lua files. You need to download it and place it in the same folder with the game. To use mods, you will need to place .lua files in the "addins" folder.
Map editor
The map editor is needed for mods that change the game locations. It can also be used to spawn objects and much more.
Configuration
Most mods have their own activation and control keys. Some are customizable, some are not. If you plan to use a lot of mods, the keys on your keyboard will run out. Tip: If you've tried a mod and don't intend to use it again, delete the file before you forget about it, or you may end up with multiple mods using the same keykeys.

How to install mods for GTA 5?
Installing GTA V mods is really easy. You just need to copy the mod files you downloaded into your main GTA V folder. If you are using the Steam version of the game, this could be:

If you are not using the Steam version, you will need to find the main game folder where the GTAV.exe file is located.
Many GTA V mods use Script Hook V as a base and you will need to install it for them to work. Just download Script Hook or , open the .zip folder and find the "bin" folder, then copy and paste the three files into the main folder Grand Theft Auto V.
Remember: Modding is prohibited in GTA Online. It's best to back up your original, clean Grand Theft Auto V folder so you can quickly revert the game back to vanilla if you want to play online. Don't try to play online with mods, as this may result in you being temporarily or permanently banned from the Rockstar Social Club.

NORTH YANKTON GTA -

GTA EXPANDED FIELD OF VIEW- When you play the game in first person, GTA V's field of view may be slightly limited.
