Now the situation with trade in multimedia products has changed. Trade in unlicensed discs has decreased significantly, which has opened the way for entrepreneurs who want to engage in sales of licensed multimedia products. Here we will talk about opening a licensed multimedia store.

What does such a store usually sell? This computer games(games for PC and consoles), videos, music, audiobooks, software(on CD and DVD media).

Selecting a location

You need to start by finding a favorable store location. We are interested in places with high traffic of people. That is, you need to determine the trafficability of a place at different times of the day and on different days of the week.

Assess the quality of traffic, that is, its compliance with your target audience and purchasing power. We will be interested in the central streets of the city and shopping centers. These locations best meet the requirements for this store.

Premises and equipment

The sales area for a store of this type should be within 50-100 square meters. m. The shape of the hall is best rectangular. This will allow for optimal placement of all equipment. Shelving for products requires special ones, taking into account the shape of the packaging. It is necessary to place the products as compactly as possible and ensure good visualization.

So, on the shelves we place the main product, related products and accessories. We must have stands with new products and hits, audio and video equipment, a computer for demonstrating goods, and a cash register.

The display form should be open, this increases sales. They fight the problem of theft using traditional methods, by installing anti-theft equipment. They also put empty boxes on display, and put the disc in when purchasing.

It is necessary to have software for trading. Since the product is small and there is a lot of it. Everything should be in the computer database, this will allow you to control the dynamics, sales volumes, inventory turnover, and all changes in the assortment.

Purchase of goods

Most Western companies specializing in multimedia production have their representatives in Russia. There are official dealers from whom stores purchase goods. You need to agree with them on cooperation, price discounts, deferred payment, etc.

The average turnover of goods is 3-4 months. If the deadlines are higher, it means there are problems in the assortment structure.

Staff

Depending on the area of the sales floor, up to four sales consultants will be required (two per shift). We also need a purchasing manager. A key position for this business.

He is responsible for the store’s assortment matrix, decides how many and what items need to be purchased, and makes sure that new items and hits quickly appear in the store. It is better to have a separate employee behind the cash register, although salespeople can work at the cash register. The administrator monitors the operation of the entire store.

Opening a store correctly and organizing operational activities in it are two key points in the success of your enterprise.

Those who worked with Ahead Nero- an application for recording multimedia content, we were faced with the opportunity to save the project, which is called halfway. This remarkable property is expressed in saving work with data in the nrg file.

I will explain how to open such a file as we proceed. First, I’ll tell you what kind of file it is, then I’ll tell you what it’s used for.

1. What is nrg format. Purpose

Program Nero can work with disk images. An image is an exact copy of a storage medium, in this case a CD. If such a disc is inserted into the drive, the application can create it imagenrg and save it in an accessible location.

When do you need to restore data to reverse order- burn them to a CD, you can use Nero and other tools for working with images. The archive .nrg created in advance is, as it were, transferred to CD.

2. How to write an nrg file. How to open the created image

Let's say you have created a copy of the data in the specified format. And now this information needed to be transferred to a CD. Therefore, let’s look at how to open such a file and how to recognize it in AheadNero.

3. Opening

  • insert your CD without data into the drive tray. If AutoPlay works, it may open the My Computer program. In this case, close or minimize its window to the taskbar.
  • Open the Nero application executable file. Then the points "file" - "open". In the file selection window that appears, set a filter by type nrg, and in the file name field enter the desired option. Or scroll vertically if there are few files.
  • The second way is to click on the corresponding icon on the toolbar. The result is similar.

4. Recording settings for Nero

So nrg. How to open the image is clear. Now you need to decide on the optimal recording settings.

  1. Determine the maximum speed - a function that calculates at which data can be written without failures.
  2. Checkbox “imitation” - simulates data recording, but does not record anything. This is useful for testing whether the CD is working properly.
  3. The “project finalization” checkbox sets the mark for the only and final recording of the image on disk. Further data recording will be impossible.
  4. Burning- the result of recording with visualization of a custom window for monitoring the process.

5. Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools... nrg format, what to open, besides Nero

The above programs can also work with a disk image, since they are virtual emulators.

Open any of the emulation applications. Using the interface, add a new one to the system. After that, all that remains is to mount the image.nrg into the expected device.

To do this, select “mount image file” or with a synonymous name (depending on the program). In the standard dialog interface, specify the source of the image and click on the “open” task.

6. Why can't I burn a Nero file to a CD using Explorer?

When you write data to a CD-ROM drive using the built-in shell, the information is transferred as is. The same will happen with the image Ahead. It is not the internal contents of the image that will be written, but simply the nrg.

In the case of using emulators, the extension we are talking about is unpacked into a temporary folder, and then the unpacked image data is written to disk.

7. Archivers

Once again about nrg. How to open this file as a folder for reading? Some archivers can read images in the form of directories. For example, the programs winrar and 7-zip “cope” perfectly with iso files. It is also possible that there are analogues of them who can read image nrg directly.

In this case, temporary data is again unpacked, and no contents inside the container are changed.

A graphic message will appear, but it is not always possible to view it. But in general, the question of how to open mms on a phone has not been a problem for most users for a long time.

Any operator mobile communications provides this service, sends settings to the phone, if the phone supports this function.

But if the phone is monochrome, without polyphony, very old, and does not support this function, then it is unlikely that you will be able to open such message options on it.

Setting the function

  • The first step is to make sure that your phone supports GPRS/EDGE. Only in this case can receiving and sending MMS messages occur. If you are not confident in the capabilities of your phone, then the instructions for your device will help you.
  • The next step is to call your operator. During a personal conversation, ask to send you the settings on your phone, or, following the voice prompts, “alone” request them to be sent to you.
  • For example, it is enough for Megafon to receive a message from you with the text “3” to number 5049, MTS will receive an empty message from you to number 1234, or after your call to 0876 (there will be a free call) it will send you necessary settings for mms.
  • Beeline provides a similar service by default to all its subscribers. However, if this does not happen, then it is enough to send a request to *110#181#.
  • You will receive a regular message on your phone containing the settings. There you will be asked to save the settings, and a password for activation will be written. Therefore, save the settings on your phone.
  • They will automatically appear on your phone if it supports this function. After saving all the settings, turn off the device and wait a little. And turn on the phone again.
  • If everything was correct, then mms will now be opened and sent on your phone.

How to open mms

  • If you receive an mms, but you cannot open it, then first check the settings. Perhaps you returned to standard settings for some reason.
  • And everything sent by the mobile operator and saved on the phone may be lost. Therefore, ask again to send you the settings.
  • MMS are opened in the same way as regular messages. The only difference between them is that they can contain pictures, videos, melodies or a larger number of characters.
  • If it doesn’t open for you, check your spam settings to make sure nothing is listed there. And also make sure that you have settings for sending and receiving mms.
  • If it seems to you that everything is in order, but the mms still does not open, then go to the nearest center with your operator, ask the center employees to help you figure it out and set everything up.

Perhaps in the library Windows Player There are elements that do not have or contain false media, such as song titles, record numbers, artist names, album names or genres. It is possible that false information was added when extracting records from a CD or due to the use of another CD mining program.

Regardless of the reason, the player uses media to organize library items, so it's important that all items have accurate and complete multimedia data.

Automatic addition of multimedia data

In many cases, the player can automatically download media and add it to files. For example, when you rip a CD, the player can search an online database and download media about the recordings contained on the CD to your computer.

The player also periodically checks the library for non-media items. If records are found in the online database that match library items, the player will automatically download multimedia data and will add them to the library files.

Add or change media manually

Can add or change multimedia data manually. If there are items in the player library that have no media or are false, there are several methods that allow you to manually fix the media.

Adding media from an online database

An easy way to add media data from a file that is already in the player's library is to search the online database for information. This method works best when the information is in the database, but the Player cannot automatically find it for a file in the Player library.

  1. Switch to library
  2. In the Player Library, click right click mouse and select the command Find album details. The player will connect to the Internet and display a dialog box Finding Album Information.
  3. To select multiple adjacent elements, click the first element and, while holding down the Shift key, click last element. To select nonadjacent elements, Ctrl-click each one.
  4. In the dialog box Finding Album Information match the item or items to the correct album in the list or refine your search.

The player closes the window and adds the information to the player library. After some time (depending on how many changes have been made and whether the player is performing other operations), the information will be added to the file.

To have the player update the file immediately, click Arrange and select a team Apply changes to media.

Add media using the Edit command

If you're comfortable entering information manually, you can skip the online database and edit the information directly in the Player Library using the Edit command.

  1. Open Windows Player.
  2. If the player is already open and in playback mode, click the Switch to Library button in the top right corner of the player.
  3. In the Player Library, right-click the item name, artist name, or other media attribute and select Edit.

If the attribute is not visible in the player library, you may need to scroll using horizontal stripe Scroll the bottom of the Player Library window (if available), left or right, or configure the Player Library, displaying the attribute column is hidden by default.

To make the same attribute change on multiple elements, you can save time by selecting a group of elements before right-clicking the appropriate attribute. To select multiple adjacent items, hold down the Shift key while selecting. To select multiple non-adjacent elements, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting.

  4. Type the information you want to add or correct, and press Enter.
  5. The information will be added to the player library. After some time (depending on how many changes have been made and whether the player is performing other operations), the information is added to the file.
  6. If necessary, repeat steps 1 and 2 to correct other attributes.

Notes:

  • Some attributes, such as duration, size, and flow rate, cannot be changed.
  • Some attributes, such as artist and genre, can have multiple elements separated by semicolons.

Add media using drag and drop elements

If you have elements in your player library that contain the correct media, and you want to copy those attributes to another element that contains false information, you can quickly do this by dragging the erroneous element onto the correct one.

  1. Open Windows Player.
  2. If the player is already open and in playback mode, click Switch to library in the top right corner of the player.
  3. In the Player Library, click a view in the navigation pane, like Executor, Album or Genre.
  4. In the details pane, drag the item containing false media onto the item containing correct media.

For example, drag "Unknown Album" onto the "Giant Steps" album. All elements of the "Unknown Album" will become part of the "Giant Steps" album.

  5. If a confirmation window appears, click Yes.

Protecting multimedia data from overwriting

Once media has been added to files, it is advisable to ensure that they are then were not overwritten by the player.

  1. Open Windows Player.
  2. If the player is already open and in playback mode, click Switch to library in the top right corner of the player.
  3. In the Player Library, click Arrange, select Options and click tab Library.
  4. In area Automatic update media file information make sure the checkbox is checked Add only missing information.
  5. This will prevent the player from accidentally changing the correct media that has been added to false information that may be contained in the online database.

Note: If the command is used Find album details To manually load media from an online database, the media data will be overwritten, regardless of the options selected.
