Even in this age of the Internet, it is very important to actively engage in your own promotion. “It's really all about getting your name out there,” Addie says. His music did not reach Kaje West directly. Last year, rising Brooklyn rap star Desiigner surfed the Menace website and acquired exclusive rights to the beat, signing himself as Panda. When Desiigner went to Kanye's studio, he took the beat with him - and that's how it ended up with the famous artist.
4. Take care of publications
Track publishing is a complex and obscure part of the music business, but it plays a key role. Music publishers will place your track, solve all the complex issues with copyrights and bookkeeping, and make sure that you get your share of the money. However, if Addie sold his tracks in advance, he would not receive a penny for transferring the exclusive rights to the track. "I still have my rights to the track, it should make me some money," he says. When I saw their account, I noticed that they posted 5 bits for 10 bucks mp3, and also added 5 wav bits for 20 bucks, And 5 bits trackouts for 50 bucks. What's the joke, it would seem? There's no catch here, Fiverr is a pretty popular site in Europe and is used by a lot of different creative and not so creative people. Accordingly, I started digging further and saw that Pink Fader were not alone here. There are a lot of beatmakers who post their beats here. Everyone's proposals are different, but the essence is approximately the same. A few bits in a pack, for a small amount of money.
After the transaction, buyers leave reviews, reviews here and play a decisive role in raising you in the ranking. And then I noticed that Faders has 290 reviews. Registered on the site in January 2017, that is, roughly speaking passive income from this site, if you take only mp3, according to reviews 2900$
