Temperature measurement methods

Oral measurement

Insert the sensor into a sanitary bag (purchased separately).

Before taking your temperature, keep your mouth closed for 5 minutes.

Place the sensor under your tongue, supporting it with your tongue. Shut your mouth. The time for measuring temperature in this way is about 1 minute.

Rectal measurement

Carefully insert only the tip of the thermometer into the rectum. It should not be inserted deeper than 2.5 cm. The time for measuring temperature in this way is about 1 minute. When measuring, you can use any sanitary bag (purchased separately).

Axillary measurement

Before measuring, wipe the sweat in your armpit with a dry towel and lower your arm for about 5 minutes. Place the sensor in the armpit, pressing firmly with your hand. The time for measuring temperature in this way is 3-4 minutes.

ATTENTION! Rectal temperature can be 1 degree higher than oral, and axillary temperature 1 degree lower than oral. Any questions about this should be addressed to your doctor. Do not measure your temperature within 30 minutes after eating, running, playing sports, or taking a bath, as your body temperature may be elevated in this case. With an oral measurement, if you have previously drunk water or talked, and with an axillary measurement, if the armpit was previously open, it will take longer to measure the temperature.
