Writes to us Sebastian.

Saving is good, but a purely American keyboard is not very good. The situation is unpleasant - after all, not every one of us knows how to touch-type on a keyboard. And don't even get me started on stickers: not only do they ruin the look, but they also peel off over time. A thousand-plus-dollar computer deserves a much more dignified treatment. Laser engraving of MacBooks has been practiced since time immemorial. Once it was recommended in the comments McGraver and I decided to try to go to them with my new laptop.

In search of a cheap Mac, many Apple technology users turn to American and European online stores, and sometimes they independently pick up the model directly from the official Apple Store. This is what I do, which allows me to save a decent amount from time to time. You can distinguish such a laptop from an officially Russified one only by its foreign-language keyboard. But this is not a verdict: the laser corrects this issue in five minutes.

Have you ever seen how Mac engraving is done?

1 minute- and it's done. This process is completely automated and absolutely safe for the computer - if the workshop is initially staffed by people with straight hands. Still CO 2 laser- not a joke. The error is no more than 0.01 mm. And no Arial: only the original font used by Apple in the manufacture of keyboards for its devices is engraved. The “new” letters glow exactly like the “original” ones.

There are options with a variety of languages - and layout formats (PC/Mac).

The workshop works with all MacBook models. Bring any one - be it an old plastic one or a new metal one - and at the end you will get the ideal Mac or PC format layout for any language you choose.

If the laptop was purchased in Germany or Switzerland, then you can swap Z-Y and A-Q to match the American layout.

Where would we be without engraving iPhones and iPads? I still remember that very first 2G by Artur Malosiev.
