Our only complaint about the app is that there are advertising banners. To get rid of them, you need to upgrade to the Pro version, which costs $1.49. We should also note that the app requires extensive permissions to proper operation, which may not be entirely convenient for every user.
Light Flow Pro
Light Flow Pro is the next app on our list. Just like Light Manager, it allows you to change the colors of your LED notifications. It offers control over more than 600 applications and system events such as missed calls, calendar reminders and so on. More importantly, Light Flow Pro gives you the option to cycle notifications or show the highest priority. Unlike Light Manager, this application also includes vibration and sound controls.

In the recent past, in MIUI8 and older firmware, it was possible to install a third-party clock widget that had different settings. In new Xiaomi phones, you can change the color of the clock by changing the theme.

Method No. 1 - using the Light Flow Lite program
Light Flow Lite is a free version of one of the most popular LED control applications.
IN free version, you can change the LED color for your phone's most important functions, while the paid version supports up to 600 different tools.
After launching the application, a message about Light Flow permission will appear. You must allow the app to read your notifications - click Yes.
After returning to the main app screen, open to Notifications. There you will see a list of different events and applications that display the notification.
In the free version you can change the color of the LEDs, among other things:
- missed calls;
- incoming calls;
- unread SMS and MMS;
- Hangout notifications;
- calendar reminders"
- Email;
- low battery level.
After selecting the setting type, the notification will be divided into several tabs. You can enable/disable “Notification” and activate the screen backlight. There you will have several pre-made colors, as well as the ability to set your own color.
NOTE: Light Flow Lite may not work on all devices. If you have problems with this, it's worth taking a look at setting it up. There, find “Direct Mode”, which, when activated, takes over control of the LED. It's also a good idea to allow root privileges (superuser if you have them) to resolve compatibility issues.
Method number 2 - Light Manager
A little less popular app, but I think it can do a better job than the above (works great with Samsung).
Light Manager is first of all completely free and does not limit settings - you can change the color for each application and add any element to the list of unique colors.
Only you have to give permission to the app to read notifications. To do this, go to Settings > Security > Notification Access. On the next screen, select "Light Manager."
Now you can turn on the program and configure additional settings (for example, for automatic start when you turn on the phone).
Moving below you will find a list of different notifications and applications, and next to each of them a unique color (if you don’t see a color, it means that the default colors are used or not configured).
To change the color, simply touch the notification with your finger and set a different color. You can also turn off the notification completely by unchecking the checkbox in the appropriate place.
NOTE: If you have CyanogenMod, you don't need to install anything. The system has a built-in option that allows you to control colors and effects. Good luck.
