Developers now have the opportunity to add their modifications to the server,

and in this article we will tell you how to add cars to the server!

To get started you will need the following programs:
  • OpenIV - Download
  • ArchiveFix - Download
Installing ArchiveFix:
First, we need to get the keys for ArchiveFix (afix), download the program and unpack it to disk: C:\ArchiveFix
Open command line and enter: (see where you unpacked it)
cd C:\ArchiveFix Now run GTA game 5 Wait for the loading screen, go back to the command line and enter:
archivefix.exe fetch It may take some time to obtain the encryption keys. It depends on the power of the computer. (I waited for 2 hours, but you can’t close GTA 5!)
Once you have successfully obtained all the encryption keys, close GTA 5, Command Prompt, and we can move on.
The folder should look like this:

Installation of new machines:
You can find all the cars.
After you have selected the machine you want to install (I chose this ) download the archive.
Inside the archive Add-on there is a file readme.txt- it contains the name of the required machine:
dlcpacks:\rx7cwest\ Therefore, we will not add the name dlc_ to your folder name.
Go to the root folder ArchiveFix and create new folder with car name: rx7cwest, go to this folder and create new folders: oldrpf, newrpf And unpack
Move the file dlc.rpf(Located in Add-on/update/x64/dlcpacks/rx7cwest/dlc.rpf) from archive to folder oldrpf
Open the program OpenIV(Select path to GTA5 and run)

By using OpenIV go to the /rx7cwest/oldrpf folder inside your ArchiveFix root folder
Make sure you are in edit mode (Click on Edit)

Click right click mouse on dlc.rpf and click on "Save Contents/Export" and select a folder unpack, which we created.

Go to folder unpack and copy the entire contents of the folder to newrpf
Drag everything rpf files in folder newrpf(They are in the folder x64, data/lang) on ArchiveFix.exe

  • rx7cwest_vehicles.rpf
  • americandlc.rpf
  • chinesedlc.rpf
  • frenchdlc.rpf
  • germandlc.rpf
  • italiandlc.rpf
  • japanesedlc.rpf
  • koreandlc.rpf
  • mexicandlc.rpf
  • polishdlc.rpf
  • portuguesedlc.rpf
  • russiandlc.rpf
  • spanishdlc.rpf

After you drag any file, you should get this:

By using OpenIV create new file dlc.rpf inside the folder newrpf

Drag all files from a folder newrpf(data, x64, content, setup2)
to dlc.rpf (Make sure you don't copy the new file dlc.rpf)

It should look like this:

Drag new dlc.rpf file in ArchiveFix.exe to encrypt it.

Installing a new machine on the server:
Go to folder client_packages your server. Create a folder dlcpacks and create in it rx7cwest
Copy new dlc.rpf archive to folder rx7cwest
Start your server, log into it and wait for the client to download the folder rx7cwest
After downloading, the game will automatically close, if this does not happen, then close the game yourself.
Go to the game and create your new car by entering the hash name of the car, in this case it is rx7cwest

Mod YCA Addon Car Pack- this is a collection that adds new cars to GTA 5, namely new ones and not replacing existing ones, interesting? in full.
There are already a lot of mods for new cars, but after installation they all replace some kind of car in the GTA 5 game, this pack of real new cars does not replace existing cars, i.e. it becomes more cars, original and real cars, how you ask?
The author of the mod created a mini DLC in which he collected some of the best mods for new real cars for Gta 5, the only small drawback is the absence of these cars in standard trainers, but there are already additional mods for easily obtaining cars.

What new cars are in this collection of new real cars for GTA 5 PC?

1)
2)
3)
4) Camaro ZL1 (coming soon to the website)
5)

Installing YCA Addon Car Pack on a collection of car mods for GTA 5

4) Go to: \update\x64\dlcpacks
Right-click next to folders and create a new folder inside the program, name her ycamods

After go inside this folder, and place the file there dlc.rpf, He inside the archive in the \x64\dlcpacks folder
Ready.

If the mod does not work for you, check again that the installation is correct, so that all the files in the archive are in the places where you are copying them.
The mod did not install for me the first time, I read the comments, and someone said that this mod does not work with the pirated version from 3dm, but today I rolled back my pirated version from almost all mods and installed the mod again, everything works on the pirated version from 3dm.
Perhaps the first time I was in a hurry and made a mistake, the first time I edited files with a regular notepad, so I advise you to use Notepad++ and follow the instructions exactly, right down to placing new lines in the files.
Also, the dlc.rpf file did not want to be copied and create a ycamods folder for itself, I had to create a folder manually and copy the file there, so I indicated this in the instructions above.
My version of the game is 350.

GTA 5 has a huge collection of all kinds of vehicles, which can satisfy the needs of almost all fans of this series of games from Rockstar Games, as well as ordinary enthusiasts. However, sometimes in GTA 5 you want to see some unusual car, which, in principle, cannot be in the world of the Car Theft. What to do in this case?

Answer: just take it and add it to the game. You can easily find files on the Internet with the car you need, and then insert them into GTA 5. In total, there are three ways in which you can add the desired vehicles to the last part of GTA - by replacement, automatically and by add-on. In this guide we will look at these methods. First, let's look at the replacement method,

How to install cars in GTA 5

Installing mods on cars in GTA 5 - replacement method

First, let's turn to the method of installing a vehicle in GTA 5 through replacement, since it is much more reliable than its automatic version. To start installing the desired vehicles, you need to go to the official website of the OpenIV utility and download its latest version from there.

As soon as you download the installer to your computer, run the file ovisetup.exe and install the OpenIV utility in the specified directory (it cannot be changed). This is where the most difficult stage begins. Having previously downloaded the car you need from a third-party resource, you have probably already read on the mod’s page that its use is carried out by the principle of replacing the files of the original vehicle with those of the modified one.

To in the best possible way explain the process of replacing one vehicle with another, let us look at one small example. The process will be explained using the example of the Bugatti Veyron mod, with which you can add the car of the same name to the GTA 5 game world. Download the archive with this mod, and then extract the files from it to any directory convenient for you on your computer, for example, to your Desktop. So, to add a Bugatti Veyron replacement in GTA 5, you will need to do the following:

  • open installed program OpenIV;
  • indicate which game you want to interact with and set the path to the game’s executive file - GTA5.exe;
  • Next, you need to activate the Editing mode in the utility - click the corresponding button in the window menu bar;
  • go to the directory GTAV\mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
  • highlight extracted files Adder.yft, Adder_hi.yft, Adder.ytd(they are located in the Replace folder of the downloaded mod) and drag them into the OpenIV program window;

Ready. Confirm the replacement of the original Adder files, after which real Bugatti Veyrons will start racing on the streets of Los Santos instead. As you can understand, the process of adding a car via replacement in GTA 5 is extremely simple and does not take more than five or ten minutes.

Of course, different transport mods will have different directories for replacing the original vehicles, so you will always have to carefully read the information posted by the author of the modification. As a rule, most of the vehicles you need will be located in the following three directories:

  • GTA5\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
  • GTA5\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday2ng\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
  • GTA5\x64w.rpf\dlcpacks\mphipster\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mphipstervehicles.rpf\

In most cases, you will have to open these three directories in OpenIV Edit mode, but there may be others. Many users also ask the question from time to time: how to find an added car in GTA 5? The answer is extremely simple and, having read the material on this page, you have probably already guessed what it is: by the name of the previously replaced transport. You are replacing the original vehicle with a modified one, which means that the name will remain exactly the same.

Installation of cars in GTA 5 is automatic

Ok, if for some reason you do not want to perform the above steps with OpenIV, despite the fact that they are extremely simple, you can use a utility called Vehicle Installer, which will automatically replace the original vehicle with the downloaded modification. Download it from any source convenient for you, and then run it.

A small window with several parameters will appear in front of you. Frankly, the Vehicle Installer program is essentially semi-automatic, so you still have to tinker a little with the settings in it, but everything is much simpler than in the installation method discussed above. Without further delay, let's figure out what you need to do to install a new vehicle in GTA 5.

  • Download the vehicle you need and place it in any convenient location. Again, you can place it on your desktop.
  • Find in the instructions for the transport mod the directory in which you will need to make the replacement, and remember it.
  • Open the Vehicle Installer utility.
  • Select the directory where the root folder with your GTA 5 installation is located.
  • Then select the archive with the loaded vehicle.
  • Now check the box next to the option that will determine which folder to install the mod in - main or for add-ons (see the instructions for the mod).
  • Click on the “Install” button.

Ready. Automatic installation Using the Vehicle Installer program is much easier, but you still need to use minimal effort.

How to add a car without replacing it in GTA 5?

After reading the above instructions, you may have another question: is it possible to add some kind of transport to GTA 5, but not replace anything from the original content with it? Of course, there is such a possibility. This method is called adding an addon to the game - and we will now look at how to add a car without replacing it in GTA 5.

We will again consider the process of installing an addon in the form of transport using the example of the Bugatti Veyron modification, which we used in the paragraph about the replacement method. To add an addon to GTA 5, you will again need to resort to the services of the OpenIV program. So if you don’t have it yet, download and install it from the above link.

Once everything is ready, do the following:

  • drag the folder "BUGATTI" into the directory mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\;
  • open OpenIV in Edit mode and then go to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data;
  • copy the file dlclist.xml, add the line to it dlcpacks:\bugatti\ , and then return it back with a replacement;
  • copy extratitleupdatedata.meta, add the line to it

  • dlc_BUGATTI:/
    update:/dlc_patch/BUGATTI/
    ,
    and then return it back with a replacement;
  • save your changes and close OpenIV.

Adding an addon to GTA 5 is also not difficult: insert the vehicle addon files into the GTA 5 files, and then use OpenIV to add a few lines to certain lists. Of course, in the modification instructions for the vehicle you need, you may need to do some things a little differently, but general principle will remain the same. Also, do not forget that you will need to resort to the services of trainers or other utilities with which you can call added vehicles into the game world.
