The Internet is diverse. A huge amount of content of a very different nature is available to users around the world. However, this same content does not always coexist with legislative framework of one country or another, therefore, the regulatory authorities are trying in every possible way to hide resources, the contents of which in one way or another intersect with the letter of the law, from users by introducing restrictions and blocking. The Russian Federation was no exception, where users are also forced to resort to various tricks to open blocked Internet pages.

Opera browser and its integrated bypass system

First, it’s worth taking a closer look at the Opera browser, which in 2016 acquired its own VPN (Virtual Private Network).

As part of the browser, this add-on is absolutely free, and its work is characterized by high levels of stability and speed of the Internet connection. Initially, the display of the launch button for this option is disabled; to activate it, you must perform the following steps:

  • Call up the settings menu. In the latest versions of the browser, the settings icon is displayed on the express panel, and the menu can also be called up by typing “opera://settings/” in the address bar.
  • On the left, click on the “Security” tab.
  • In the main browser window, go down to the “VPN” block.
  • Check the box next to “Enable VPN”, after which the required button will appear to the left of the address bar.

When you click on this button, the browser displays a drop-down menu in which you can enable or disable the option, go to the settings block, and also select the location of the servers that act as a network intermediary: Optimal location, Europe, America, Asia. Of course, using a VPN directly affects the connection speed; any speed testing service will help you test the servers and choose the most suitable one.

Browser extensions

In browsers that do not have a built-in anonymizer, bypassing the blocking is possible using add-ons that work on a principle similar to Opera VPN for encrypting session traffic inside the browser. The list of addons is impressive, the most popular of which are worth noting:

  • friGate - used in Chrome browsers and Firefox and is a classic proxy add-on. It has its own updated list of resources, thanks to which access to the web addresses required by the user is maintained, and also maintains acceptable speed.
  • Browsec VPN - available for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, works as a proxy agent.
  • Yandex Access - works on most browsers based on the Chromium engine. Designed primarily for free access to Yandex, VK and OK group sites.
  • Data Saver is an addon for Chrome that compresses data to save traffic using Google servers. Due to recent events involving mass blocking of many IP addresses, operation may be unstable.
  • - an add-on that works in Opera, Firefox and Chrome. A proxy anonymizer that provides additional protection for your wireless connection.

VPN

The principle of operation of a VPN, the use of which is offered by third-party companies, is similar to what Opera VPN does, with the only difference being that the communication channel is encrypted not at the browser level, but at the network level, which allows you to organize secure network interaction without being tied to a specific browser. There are both paid and free services that provide this service. Free ones are the most popular among most users, but they most often offer limited services (speed and connection time, amount of data transferred, and possible lack of country selection).

Among the most frequently used services are:

  • CyberGhost VPN is a program for Windows, Android, Mac OS and iOS that provides anonymous and confidential data transfer. It works through traditional IP address spoofing and traffic encryption.
  • Hotspot Shield Free - can be used not only as a means of bypassing blocking, but also as a means of protecting personal data by sending data via HTTPS.
  • OkayFreedom VPN is a classic service that offers the use of servers both in Russia and in the USA, Europe and Asia.
  • SoftEther VPN is an interesting VPN project based on the voluntary interaction of ordinary network users from all over the world. The connection speed is noticeably lower, but a high-quality level of encryption is offered.
  • Avast SecureLine VPN - client-server application, developed for Windows, Android, Mac OS X and iOS. The ability to protect any networks, including wireless ones, as well as anonymize and encrypt data.
  • F-Secure Freedome VPN is another multi-platform VPN client that, in addition to standard functionality, has the ability to block dangerous web pages and mobile applications.

DNS

Sometimes it is possible to bypass the blocking of a particular resource by forcing a DNS change. The DNS server in this case will be used as a proxy server, redirecting user traffic. In this case, the blocking will not work, and there will be no problems with access to prohibited sites.

Now, in the era of wireless devices, there is a router in almost every home. Therefore, it would be more expedient to change the DNS server on it. When setting up DNS on the router, any prohibited web page will be accessible from any device, and you can change DNS settings not required.

Several services providing similar services:

  • Google Public DNS - free service, quite capable of acting as a high-quality replacement for the local provider’s domain name system thanks to its good bandwidth and stable connection.
  • OpenDNS Premium DNS - in addition to the basic function of providing DNS, provides anti-phishing protection and blocking services malware. It implies a stable and reliable connection, as well as high speed.
  • Norton ConnectSafe is a service that provides both DNS servers and security local network from malicious sites. Does not require installation of specialized software.

Tor Browser

Tor is an organized proxy server system that uses virtual tunneling principles and provides anonymization as well as data encryption. This is achieved thanks to the so-called onion routing, which encrypts the transmitted data layer by layer at various network nodes. In addition, it is not subject to traffic analysis.

A free cross-platform client component of this complex network, the use of which virtually eliminates third party interference information exchange the user with the sites he needs, blocks information about the real IP address, and also easily bypasses site blocking.

Of course, with such a multi-component network organization, it is impossible to avoid the main problem - very low connection speed, although this is a more than reasonable price for complete anonymity and protection of personal data.

Hello everyone, guys, I’ll start right away with the fact that I understand you, I know approximately what it is. When you are waiting for a message in social network, or they were supposed to write you a letter by email, and then bam and these sites were blocked, but guys, this is certainly not fun. It may be that you are waiting for a message from a loved one, then it’s completely unpleasant and hurts your soul. But it’s okay, today in this material I will collect all sorts of ways, which can bypass site blocking

I feel that the article will be long, since I spare no effort and time on such material, I want to make it as complete as possible, filled with information, so that in the end you will definitely find a solution for yourself.

How are sites blocked? I have to write a little about this, so that you can roughly understand. The provider has a thing installed in some room somewhere that filters traffic. That is, sites are filtered. But they are filtered precisely by the name of the site. You can work on the Internet not directly, but through an intermediary. And where sites are filtered, only the intermediary will be visible there, which the provider does not block. An intermediary is a server through which you access the Internet. This is exactly how all solutions for bypassing website blocking work. Access to such a server may be paid, or it may be free. Access can be implemented in the form of a proxy, browser extension, or VPN connection. Today I will only consider safe and simple solutions

I’ll say right away that in order for everything to be fair, I blocked the VKontakte and Odnoklassniki sites, that is, they are simply blocked. And so I will test solutions to bypass the blocking before writing to you about it. That is, I will write information that is as reliable as possible, so to speak verified.

Browsec extension

The first way is to install the Browsec extension, it is simple and free. Works in many browsers. For example, I installed it in Yandex Browser and Google Chrome, no problems. By the way, in Yandex Browser, to install it, you need to go to the official Google store, well, where the extensions are, and from there download Browsec and install it. Although, on the other hand, it is possible that in Yandex Browser you can do without Browsec, since it has a Turbo mode, which means that the entire Internet will pass through Turbo servers and sites should not be blocked (but in fact it turned out that they are blocked anyway).

So guys, before installing the Browsec extension, my VKontakte site did not work:

By the way, guys, as I said, you need to go to the extension store and find Browsec there. Well, or it’s stupid to just write in the Browsec search engine and there should be a download page in the first positions. To install, on the page with the extension you need to click the INSTALL button in the upper right corner:

Then you will see a message like this, here you need to click on Install extension:

After this, in a few seconds you will already have the Browsec extension installed, and the following message will appear in the tray:

In the browser itself there will be a round icon, you need to click on it and a window will appear where you need to move the slider from Off to On, well, in short, it should be like this:

That's it, after this the extension will already work. I showed how to install it in Chrome, in all other browsers it’s about the same, in some places you won’t need to configure it at all, I don’t remember exactly where, but it seems to be in Mozilla. But maybe they've already changed something there

As a result, I opened the VKontakte page again and everything is already working:

All your traffic, all your Internet goes through the server that is selected in Browsec. By default, the Netherlands is selected there, maybe now there is a different default server, I don’t know.

If you click on the Browsec icon, the current country will be indicated there, well, under which you surf the Internet, but to change it, you need to click on Change:

IN free version Four servers will be available, these are the Netherlands, Singapore, UK and USA:

To select a server, you just need to click on Change opposite it. If you scroll with your mouse, you can see which servers are available in the paid version:

Well, they’re not all shown in the picture, but of course there are a lot of them. As I already wrote, I think free servers are easily enough for social networks and mail, and the like

In general, this method of bypassing website blocking by your provider works, the method is simple and I think it will suit you. But let's consider other ways.

Hola extension

Hola is a more popular extension than Browsec, and it’s very strange that I haven’t heard of it before, I don’t even know how it happened. Hola is also a free extension that can be downloaded from the Chrome extension store. I forgot to say that if I write a free extension, it means that the free option is more than enough. Because both Hola and Browsec have paid options, if you pay money, Browsec will have additional servers, and Hola I don’t know what will be there... In general, everything is fine with Hola, millions of users use this extension, but recently Hola’s reputation has been shaken say.. I won’t write anything, because I don’t know for sure, but you can look for information about the scandal involving Hola

So, okay, now let's see how to install Hola, I'll install it in Chrome. I’m writing in the Hola Chrome search engine, the first link is what I need, I go to it, click on INSTALL in the upper right corner:

That’s it, then it was installed and this icon appeared in my Chrome:

That’s it, the extension is installed and immediately if you click on it, a window with popular sites will appear:

I clicked on the first one, that is, on vk.com, but in the end the page loaded, but not as quickly as on Browsec. And somehow it loaded strangely. But everything seems to be fine. You can also choose from which country you want to view the site. When vk.com finally loaded, the Hola icon in the upper right corner changed to the icon of the country through which I view sites. Well, if you click this icon, then you can change the country:

There are all sorts of countries:

But when changing the country, the following page appears:

Then it disappears on its own and the site loads again. In principle, it works fine, but damn, can’t you just specify the website address and that’s it? Why these troubles? The funny thing is that the connection gets lost, that is, when entering another site you need to select the country again, this is annoying, I’ll now see if I can do something in the settings. I didn't find anything in the settings...

In general, this is the case, I didn’t like the fact that the connection was lost, in Browsec everything is much simpler and more stable. The extension seems to work, right? And I go to the site alone to find out my IP and there I see that my country, my city is written... Well, it’s clear that here you need to select the country again and everything will be ok... In short, the extension works strangely and seems to be a little slower! So Hola, for me, is not very...

Google Extension: Traffic Saving

I wanted to write about this extension, but it doesn’t work! Or rather, the extension itself works, but VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, which I blocked, do not open. Although the Traffic Saving extension passes all traffic through Google servers... While I was writing this, I thought, why am I so sure of this? Maybe the extension works differently? Although no, the official Google help says that there are servers and they compress data:

That is, apparently the entire Internet, that is, traffic, still passes through Google servers, but this does not help bypass the blocking. Alas, but it fails

Opera browser with built-in VPN

I think that many people know that the Opera browser now has a VPN. Although in fact, it doesn’t seem to be a VPN, I would call it something else, for example, a built-in extension for bypassing site blocking. All the same, a VPN seems to be a little different, in general, seriously, it’s creating a connection in Windows, where you need to enter a username and password, well, sort of like that. Okay, what did I do? I downloaded Opera, installed it, they seem to have made a new design there, I didn’t even know... Now let’s enable this built-in VPN, to do this you need to open the settings (to bring up this menu, you need to click on the red letter O in the upper left corner of the browser) :

Now in the settings you need to write the word VPN in the search field, after which a check mark will immediately appear:

Checked the box:

Now we try to load VKontakte, well, everything is as I thought, everything works wonderfully in Opera:

Opera is probably also a good solution, due to the fact that it has a built-in VPN

Yandex Browser and its Turbo mode

Unfortunately, the Turbo mode in Yandex Browser will not help bypass the blocking (although in theory it should):

What’s also interesting is that I also tried it in Opera, I disabled the VPN there and turned on Turbo mode, but still neither VKontakte nor Odnoklassniki worked

Using Tor: easy, effective, but a little slow

Well, it’s clear that Tor will help, but there’s still a bit of hassle with it. You need to download the Tor browser, launch it, and it’s far from fast. But everything is free and there is maximum anonymity, which is good. I'll show you how to download Tor, how to install it and access social networking sites

But I would like to tell you something else that is not very pleasant about the Tor network.. Do you know how this network works? The principle here is this: your data is encrypted three times and passes through three servers, on each of which one encryption is removed. The main thing is that the last cipher is removed on the last server and there the data already reaches its intended destination, but at the same time it is no longer encrypted. Well, now the most interesting part. These servers are called nodes. And these are essentially nodes regular computers, there are official nodes (servers), and there are those who made them simply from their computer. And someone made them for a reason, namely in order to intercept unencrypted data, because the last server, as I already wrote, removes the last cipher. And there they can comb data just to, for example, find out your VKontakte login and password, then all this is stored in a file and these databases can be sold. Well, that's just my theory, I'm not saying that it is true, but it could be! If you don’t believe me, then read about this moment on the Internet..

Well, now let me show you how to install the Tor browser on your computer. First you need to go to this site:

And there click on the purple DOWNLOAD button:

Then you need to find the version in Russian and click 32/64-bit opposite:

The installer weighs almost 50 megs, well, not so much, with fast internet it will download quickly, my internet is not very fast, I had to wait about three minutes... Everything has already downloaded, launch the installer, click right click and select Open:

Then there was such a window, here I clicked Run:

In the next window, click the Install button:

If necessary, of course, you can change the installation path. By default, the Tor browser will be installed on your desktop. IN general installation started:

I have a computer like this, well, not very fast and not very slow, but in the end everything was installed in about ten seconds. At the end of the installation there will be two checkboxes, this is Launch Tor browser and a checkbox about creating shortcuts in start menu and on the desktop:

I don’t uncheck these boxes, but just click the Finish button. As a result, it was not the Tor browser that opened first, but its settings:

Many advanced users would say that here you need to click on the Connect button. But if we’ve already downloaded Tor, then let’s be as anonymous as possible, right? Therefore, click the Configure button, then select that the provider does block Tor and click Next:

Now you will be asked to select a bridge (repeater), the default is obfs4 and it is the best, so don’t touch anything here, click Next again:

You will also be asked whether a local proxy server is needed to access the Internet. If you have Internet through a proxy, you can set it here. But as a rule, most people have Internet without any proxy shmoxy, so click here on Connect:

That’s it, after this the connection will begin, it may take some time, or it may connect quickly:

And then the Tor browser itself will open:

So, in principle, everything is ready and you can already go to the VKontakte website (or Odnoklassniki), so I did this, and first they asked me if I would like to receive pages in English:

Well what can I say here. Yes, English pages increase anonymity, but by how much and is it worth it? I don’t know, I refused and the page was supposed to load in Russian, but it never did. Then I decided to restart Tor, to do this I first clicked here:

Then I selected New Identity from the menu:

This is so that Tor rebooted and took on new servers. After all, every time you start Tor servers, different ones are taken. The Tor browser rebooted, I entered vk.com into the address again and the download started, slowly, but it started. It is possible that if you turn off the repeater, it will be faster. As a result, the page loaded:

By the way, after network activity has started in the Tor browser, the servers through which the traffic passes will be visible:

By the way, you see in this menu there is also a Security Settings item:

If you click it, you can set the level of anonymity:

But the higher the anonymity, the more incorrectly the sites may appear, because a lot of things will be blocked for the purpose of anonymity. In short, the layout can work well. If you click on Setting up the Tor network:

Then there will be relay settings (we already opened them when launching Tor):

When I used the Tor browser, I always used relays

The Tor browser also has the NoScript extension, which blocks scripts that can leak important information about you to the network. To open NoScript settings, you need to click on this icon and select Settings:

And I’ll also say that maybe it’s worth setting something up here, but I’ve never set it up and I think that you need to have some knowledge in order to use these settings to make it better, not worse..

We use the anonymous Tor network in any browsers

I told you above how to install Tor, how to use it, well, in general. But there is another very interesting use of the Tor browser, which is that the browser itself has nothing to do with it. The Tor browser is simply a combination of the browser itself, played by Mozilla, and a module of the Tor network itself, which interacts with Mozilla using a regular local SOCKS proxy. This proxy can be installed anywhere, in any browser you use, or even in some program. True, provided that you trust the Tor network. But how do you recognize this shmoxy proxy? But here everything is simple, you need to open the Tor browser, then call up the main menu, select Settings in it:

Then go to the Network and click the Configure button there:

Well, then the Connection Settings window will open, where the proxy address will be written, that is, as you can see, it is 127.0.0.1 and port 9150:

In general, the address is 127.0.0.1, this is not an Internet IP, so to speak, but a home one, it is called local. In general, it doesn't matter. This ip:port can be set in any program that supports SOCKS proxy. The only thing is that for this proxy to work, it goes without saying that there is no need to close the Tor browser and another small point: when using this proxy in some browser you must understand that anonymity may be in question. The fact is that the Tor browser, unlike other browsers, is already configured for high anonymity, there are all sorts of settings, additions, all of this is already configured for anonymity. But this is not the case in any regular browser. But despite this, still, using regular browser and Tor proxy you can bypass website blocking by your provider.

friGate extension (there are some strange bugs)

Here is the first way to bypass site blocking I showed in the form of the Browsec extension. So, it seemed to me that this is how all extensions work to bypass blocking, that is, you install the extension and then select a country and use the Internet through another country. Damn, I wrote it a little confusingly... I thought so, because of all the extensions for bypassing blocking, I only used Browsec. But it turns out that other, even more popular extensions, they work differently, the first thing that occurred to me is that crap is specially added to the extensions to make them more difficult to use. Well, that's what I thought guys...

In the friGate extension, as well as in Hola extension, there are some hesitations. It's funny, but I'm being honest, I installed this extension to test it and couldn't turn it on properly. Yes, maybe I’m not very advanced in extensions, but it would be possible to make it so that everything is clear what to do after installing the extension. Okay, now I’ll show you this mess, look, first we install the extension, write the word friGate in the search engine and select the link in the first positions. You only need to download from official sources, so I will install it in Chrome and I only need to download from the extension store, I hope this is already clear.

By the way, there are two versions of the extension: friGate CDN and friGate Light. There seems to be no difference between the versions, which is a bit strange

In general, I went to the extension store, here you need to click on INSTALL:

That's it, then you will have an extension icon like this:

The icon means that the extension is enabled. But when I try to go to vk.com, it says that I can’t access the site. Once again, the extension is enabled, but there is no access, just like that! The fact is that friGate has the following policy: if you need access to a site, then add it to the list of sites that need to bypass the block. This is such a hassle for friGate! Despite the fact that Browsec does not suffer from such nonsense: we installed it, chose a country and went. But no, it’s not that simple! OK. I'll show you how to do it all. Right-click on the icon and select Settings:

Now look what you need to do, you need to create your own list of sites, to do this, in the field opposite Add a list, write a name, I’ll indicate MySite here as an example:

And only now we can add a website, only now! We write here vk.com (or some other site), opposite the menu it should be set to proxy always on (by default it is), and click Add site:

That’s it, after that the site started working immediately, and the added site appeared below.

The Internet was originally thought to be global network, which connects the whole world. However, in reality, many web resources may be blocked in certain regions due to legislative initiatives. What should you do if you still need to access a blocked site? We have collected several reliable and effective methods to bypass blocking of prohibited resources.

1. Opera web browser

Another reliable way to bypass blocking is to use the Tor Browser-based web browser. Mozilla Firefox. The Tor browser is a client application for the anonymous network of the same name. To ensure user confidentiality, multi-level encryption and routing of your network traffic over a distributed network is used.

This technology prevents an outside observer of your Internet connection from knowing what websites you visit, prevents sites from knowing your physical location, and also allows you to access blocked web resources.

The main disadvantage of using Tor is the slow connection speed. However, you pay for the anonymity and confidentiality of your personal data. The browser can be used absolutely free and without restrictions.

Some blocking can be done by changing DNS settings. In this case, to bypass the blocking, it is enough to change the DNS server on your computer or router. If you try to visit a blocked site, the third-party DNS server will redirect your traffic through the tunnel. The remote server will assume that you are accessing from the appropriate country, and the site will work.

When setting up DNS on the router, sites will be unblocked on all devices in home network. In this case, you do not need to constantly change your DNS settings. The connection will be stable for all your traffic.

Google Public DNS - Free global service Domain Name System (DNS), used as an alternative to your Internet Service Provider's DNS. Advantages: increased speed, reliability and security of the Internet connection.
Cloudflare DNS - "1.1.1.1" service is focused on speed and privacy protection, providing fast and secure web surfing on the Internet.

Using the following services and instructions, you can create and run your own VPN or proxy server.

Outline VPN is a service that allows any user to create and launch their own VPN server and provide other users with access to this server.
3proxy on FreeBSD – ready script settings and step-by-step instructions for renting and quick setup virtual server for proxy.

Faced with the fact that the ISP blocks access to any site, almost every person first wants to know how to get to this blocked site. I know this from myself :) If you are looking ways to bypass site blocking– then you have come to the right place. In today’s article I will tell you how you can access a resource blocked by your provider.

1 way: Bypass blocking using browser tools

For those who use a browser to surf the Internet Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome , I recommend installing the extension friGate. This is one of the simplest and convenient ways bypass site blocking.

For browser Opera And Yandex.Browser you don’t even need to install any extensions - just enable the one available in them Turbo mode . In this mode, sites blocked by your provider should open without problems.

To enable Turbo mode in Yandex Browser, you need to go to its settings by clicking the corresponding button in the upper right corner of the browser:
Then scroll down the list that opens and put the switch in the “ Always on”:
After this, you can access the blocked site.

In the browser Opera you need to click the button in the upper left corner and check the box Opera Turbo:In this mode, the blocked site will open.

Method 2: Using an anonymizer

Advantage this method is that you will not be required to install any additional software or browser extensions on your computer. You just go to a special online service and enter the address of the desired site.

The disadvantages include not too much fast work such services. Also inconvenient is the need to open the anonymizer every time to access the desired site.

There are a huge number of anonymizer sites on the Internet. I will give examples of two of the most famous and popular ones. You can use any of them.

After you enter the address of the blocked site in the search bar on any of these services and press the key Enter– the service will load this page and show it to you at a different address. Thanks to this, blocking is bypassed (the known site address is changed to a new one - unblocked).

3 way: Using the Tor Browser

Since Internet sites began to be massively blocked in our country, the browser has gained great popularity. Tor. And even those users who have never worked with it have still heard something about it.

Tor Browser designed for anonymous surfing on the Internet. With its help, you can easily access sites if they are blocked by your provider.

Externally Tor- This is a regular Internet browser on Firefox base. But it uses a unique technology called “onion routing.” The data it transmits is encrypted and decrypted several times, passing through dozens of routers and being sent to random routers on the network.

So, download the browser Tor here at this link.

Before starting the download, select Russian from the list. Then click big buttonDownload”:

Launch the downloaded file.

By default, the browser is installed in the “Tor Browser” folder on the desktop. You can change this path, or you can leave it like this:

Once the installation is complete, the following window will open. Click on the button “ Connect”:

After a few seconds the browser itself will open:

That's all: you can enter in address bar the address of the blocked site, and it will open:
I warn you that using the Tor browser, sites will open a little slower than usual. But if we want to access blocked resources, we can live with this.

Because At the time of installing the program, I did not change anything - a folder was created on my Desktop Tor Browser. The next time I need to open the Tor browser, I will launch it from this folder using the shortcut Start Tor Browser.

Everyone active users Internet in Ukraine was shocked by the presidential decree banning the Russian social network Vkontakte. In addition, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru, Yandex, and all related services of these companies were blocked in Ukraine.

We bring to your attention step by step instructions to unblock access to prohibited sites. This guide is also relevant for Russian Internet users; with its help you can regain access to RuTracker, Flibusta and many other torrents and useful sites!

There are several options for how to bypass website blocking in Ukraine:

How to bypass website blocking by your ISP using a VPN

Virtual Private Network, also known as VPN. Using this connection, you can pretend to be a citizen of other countries in which the sites you need are not prohibited. Thus, a user who uses such a network in Ukraine can count on encryption of absolutely all transmitted and received data, and the channel through which such manipulations occur is secure. This function is provided by various extensions in browsers, even in such as Yandex.

To establish such a connection in Google browser Chrome needs to go to the extensions directory, the path to them is through the settings.

As soon as the desired option is found, you need to go to the search for extensions, that is, get to the online store. We enter VPN in the search column and in response we will receive several extensions that will help cope with the task.

As a matter of fact, open any of them and install, then turn it on and get stable operation of the Yandex search engine and the Odnoklassniki social network as in the old days.

For example, you are shown the first extension of all available – ZenMate. After installation you will need to register using email, and then its function button will light up in the upper right corner of the screen.

As soon as all these simple operations are carried out, you need to select the country through which the traffic will go, and the question of how to bypass blocking of sites by your provider will no longer be relevant.

You can choose another extension called HOLA! However, it has the disadvantage of violating appearance some pages. Among the advantages we can highlight the possibility quick view various media content, since the loading of streaming video is accelerated by using the computers of other users who also installed the plugin.

In addition to these extensions, you can use a VPN connection in a slightly different way by using a browser such as Opera. To set up a connection, you need to go to settings, find the security tab and check the VPN box there.

Bypass blocking on a smartphone (VPN applications)

It is worth noting that to bypass VK and Odnoklassniki blocking from your phone, there are similar services, such as Opera VPN, Turbo VPN, TunnelBear, ZenMate and others. Find them in Android market, install and confirm registration in the application itself (if necessary).

Depending on the application, you will either be immediately connected to the VPN when you launch it, or you will be forced to set necessary settings. Once all this is done, you will have free access to sites blocked by your provider. The only inconvenience of this solution is the need to run VPN app when using social networks, which is partially solved by allowing the VPN to work in the background without unloading from memory.

Using a proxy server

A proxy server works on the principle of an intermediary. Simply put, a person sends a request for the resources he needs, and the proxy server processes it and sends it directly to the blocked site, after which it transmits this information back to the user. All these machinations are invisible, of course, however, you will have to tinker a little with setting up this access option, and loading the content of web pages will be very slow.

Access to a blocked page is obtained as follows: find a proxy server on the Internet, examples of which are ProxFree, Hide My Ass, Ninjacloak, etc., and then enter the address of the page of interest in the field. After a few seconds, the request will appear on the screen. In general, using a VPN seems to us to be a much more convenient solution

How to open a blocked site using Tor

There is a program called Tor, which is what we need here. An anonymous network that transmits traffic in encrypted form and also provides guarantees of absolute anonymity.

The system works on the principle of transmitting requests among many other users, while the number of submissions cannot be tracked. Only the first and final node will know what kind of information was requested. To install, enter the Tor Browser request on the Internet, go to the official website of the project, select latest version downloaded application and launch it after downloading. After installation, you will be offered the option of standard settings, which is exactly what you need.

Once you select it, it will take a little time for the application configuration to be completed and ready for use. Essentially, this is a regular browser in which surfing the network occurs in the same way as Chrome, Opera, Yandex Browser, etc.

Now you know how to access government-blocked sites. Enjoy a free Internet without absurd restrictions!
