Today I will talk about recording music in MP3 format on CD and DVD.
We will record using the free program Nero Free.
NERO programs for burning discs, at one time (in the era of Windows XP and the decline of Windows 98), were very popular and were a kind of standard for a user who wanted to burn a disc. Back then, disc recording began with the installation of Nero.
However, there was always one problem - this wonderful program was paid. Over time, operating systems have evolved; in modern versions of the OS you can burn discs without using third party programs. And what cannot be recorded using the operating system is done by numerous free applications.
I think these reasons led to Nero releasing free version disc burning programs. Even though this utility is very limited functionally, it still allows you to write and copy data to CDs and DVDs, as well as create disk images.
Installation and registration of NERO Free
Installing the program is simple and will not raise any questions for you.
You just need to register the program, which is not entirely typical for free programs. Registration is simple, you need to fill out several fields in the form provided: 
How to Burn MP3 to CD
To burn music to a CD or DVD, you do not need a lot of actions or special skills.
When you first start the program, you can familiarize yourself with home page applications: 
Better yet, go to the “Data Recording” tab and we will start “burning” the disc (this is the name of the recording process in NERO terminology - “Burn CD”).
To do this, insert an empty CD into the drive (I ran out of CDs while writing previous articles about burning to CDs and I used a DVD here...).
Then click the “Add” button and select MP3 files to burn, the green bar at the bottom will show you how full the CD will be.

There are not many settings in the “data recording” tab - checking the data after recording and selecting the recording speed (I usually choose the minimum speed, here I tried “Safe Mode”). 
If you want to try copying a disk, you can look at the corresponding tab in the settings. 
After completing the settings, click on the big red “Record” button and get the result.
Summary
Testing of the program is completed positive result— the music was recorded with high quality.
When recording, the option to check the disc after burning the disc was selected, which showed some recording problems with several files. However, I listened to these files without problems and did not find any differences from the originals on my hard drive.
I can draw one conclusion - a program for recording MP3 on DVDs and the CD is fine, I recommend trying it.
