SEO is an acronym that stands for Search Engine Optimization, and translated from English means “optimization for search engines", or " search engine optimization" Search engines scan all online resources and sort (index) them according to certain laws.

Search engine optimization is performed to ensure that the site is “liked” by search engines. High positions of a resource in search results guarantee good traffic. Almost 100% of all users follow the top three links from the first page of search results. Few make it to the end of the first page, and only the most persistent and meticulous move on to the second and third.

Your first task after launching a website is to actively promote it so that it ends up on the first page, or better yet, in the top 3 search results. This is not so easy to do. It will take long and painstaking work, the result of which will depend not only on your efforts, but also on many other factors, such as competition in your field. We will talk about the basics of search engine promotion and indicate methods of “black hat” SEO, the use of which can cause search engines to remove your site from search results.

SEO Basics

1. Be careful when choosing a domain name. A simple and euphonious site name is important not only for attracting visitors, but also for promotion in search engines. Great option when Domain name reflects the scope of the brand. For example, a pizzeria called Mario's should include the word "pizza" in its domain: www.pizzamario.com.

2. Add meta tags for the site and for each of its pages - the title and description of the site. They are not visible to site visitors, but are important to search engine crawlers. Definitely worth turning on keywords- this will help search engines quickly understand the topic of your site. By the way, meta tags home page will be visible in search results, so it would be a good idea to make them attractive. After all, it is based on this description that the user decides whether to go to your site or not.

3. Optimize the content of your resource:

  • The amount of text on each page should not be too small, but not too large. There is still debate about the approximate figure. One thing is clear: no one will read a long boring text, full of outdated facts. Therefore, post quality content and update it constantly. There is a simple rule: what visitors like is likely to be liked by search engines.
  • Keywords. They are needed, they work, they help your site quickly reach the top positions in search results. But mark yourself with a red marker: the keys must fit organically! It's high time to say goodbye to dull, keyword-rich SEO texts. Only interesting and useful content actively works for the benefit of your site.
  • Relinking. Be sure to include links in your texts that lead to other pages on your site. Skillfully entered active links will guide your visitor from the landing page to the page where he will take the action you need.

4. Use outbound external links. Many are afraid to give links from their resource to third parties, they say, why would I take my traffic outside? In fact, external links to high-ranking resources with a good reputation work for you. A link to information useful to the user that is not on your site increases the value of your resource.

  • Create groups on social networks and regularly fill them with news about new publications on your website with active links to them. In addition, post additional content in groups that (we're talking about this again!) will be attractive to visitors. This will ensure subscriber growth.
  • Start a blog on a third-party resource. In it you can make announcements of new texts and news from the site (with active links, of course) or write articles of other content, organically supplementing them with links. Let's give an example: let's say your website is a store of bicycles and spare parts for them. On your blog, you can write reviews of new products or articles on how to repair a bicycle yourself, providing links to spare parts sold on your website. And share links to blog articles on social networks: on your pages and in large communities with suitable topics.

6. Add Title and Alt attributes to all images. This is the name and description of the picture, which helps the search engine see it, understand what is depicted on it, and, therefore, index it correctly.

7. Confirm the rights to your site. Only after this you will have access to the information collected by the search robot when indexing your resource, and to statistical data about it. Do this for those search engines in which you expect users to look for you, for example, for Yandex and Google.

Black hat SEO techniques

Of course, as in any business, there are “black” techniques in SEO that work effectively, but only until you get caught. Having caught you using illegal techniques, search engines can significantly lower your ranking or even remove the resource from search results. So it’s better not to chase quick results, risking your reputation.

Illegal search engine promotion techniques

The search engine perceives text as hidden if:

  • the font is illegible and small;
  • text is hidden behind other elements, such as images;
  • text is in an area of the page that has been designated as invisible or hidden;
  • the font color blends into the background, that is, almost the same.

2. Keyword spam

We mentioned this when we talked about filling the site. Stop using keywords over and over again.

3. Buying PR links

For a fee, another site hosts your links. This is done to improve your PageRank and is considered spam since search engines can determine that the external links were not placed in an organic way.

4. Using 100% Frame

100% Frame - a page completely covered with a frame and containing content completely different from the subject of the resource. It turns out that the search engine ranks your resource in accordance with your home page, and users see a different site.

5. Using illegal redirects

Illegal redirects are used to increase the number of times a site is shown in search results - it is shown through different domains. It happens like this: when you click on a certain URL, you are automatically redirected to another site. The first link appears in address bar for a second, and then another one is replaced. Only the 301st redirect is recognized as legal.

How to promote your website if you don't understand anything about programming

Nowadays, everyone for whom it is important to have a decent representation on the Internet creates their own website: photographers, musicians, business owners. And, of course, if your activity has nothing to do with programming, you do not know, and are not required to know, all the intricacies of the internal filling of your resource. How to optimize a website when you don’t really understand where to write meta tags, Alt and Title for pictures and other mysterious things?

Without a doubt, if you have some spare money, you can outsource it and spend your time and energy on other important things. But the budget of a start-up company or specialist cannot always safely bear such very serious costs.

We recently wrote that, without programming or design skills, you can create your own website using the platform. Now we have discovered another advantage of this solution: a resource designed in Wix can be easily optimized for search engines.

In editing mode, open “Site Settings” and follow step by step instructions, which is additionally equipped with many tips. The SEO Wizard tool will scan your site and tell you where and what needs to be filled out so that the resource is well indexed.

Have you completed the basic SEO settings, but still feel empowered? You can move on to the advanced level.

Search engine optimization usually seems to uninitiated people as a boring, complex, incomprehensible task, but this is somewhat reminiscent of a quest: complete all the steps to make your website better.

Despite the fact that promoting a website on your own is still more difficult than entrusting it to specialists, there are also significant arguments in favor: you will know exactly what is happening with your resource, what keywords you are using to promote, where external links are located and what they are lead resources. You will be confident that no illegal practices were used, and you will not have to constantly study reports from SEO specialists to understand what work your money was spent on.

We wish you to skyrocket to the top of searches. May SEO success be with you!

One day, someone named Mikhail read my interview and wrote a comment on the bptrip blog. Since then we have been living and traveling together. But this article is not about my personal life, but about SEO promotion sites.

Anya turned out to be the fastest of my “students” :) After yesterday’s letter, she has already implemented some of the tips, so you will no longer see some of the points discussed below on her blog. It's good that I managed to take screenshots of what it was like yesterday :)

1 - Getting rid of ballast

The blog being analyzed has a main menu with drop-down lists, dozens of links to categories in the footer and sidebar.

Each article is like a balloon, and dozens of links in the menu and footer are cobblestones that do not allow the balloon to float on the top lines of the TOP search engines. Getting rid of ballast.

Visitors do not follow links to tags and archives!

What should Anya do?

Anya's blog

1.1. Put away tags, archives and categories from the footer. Remove it completely!

1.2. Put away list of recent articles on right. All these articles are on the main page, there is no need to duplicate them in the sidebar

1.3 . Main menu. The fewer links in the menu, the better. Think about how you can shorten the menu. For example, I removed all the countries on, instead of 40 links there was only one left called “Countries”.

You can read about why such a menu makes sense in my article

1.4. Remove automatic block of similar posts under the article. It is better to manually put links in the text of the article with the necessary anchors to posts that are suitable in meaning.

1.5 . Put away circular linking all articles

2 - Sidebar

It is customary to hang everything possible in the sidebar. If only the place wasn't empty. You can very easily check whether you need widgets in the sidebar (groups on social networks, affiliate banners).

Go to Yandex Metrica, select a report Hit map(metrics→ maps→ heat map) or Link map. We look at whether visitors click on affiliate widgets hanging in the sidebar. We check the link map of the main page and the map of visited articles.

I don’t know about you, I have 45% - mobile traffic. These people don’t see any widgets, and they definitely don’t need extra external links from the main page of the site.

Are there orders from affiliate widgets? Most likely there are none. Put away.

3 – Blog loading speed

The most important indicator in our time is the loading speed of a website on mobile and desktop. If the speed for a mobile phone is low, then search engines will underestimate the resource in the search.

We enter your domain address and compare your speed with the loading speed of resources with good traffic.

Normal speed - minimum 70/100 , good - 80-100/100 , Anya has this indicator 35-41/100

Perhaps some plugin is causing the load. You need to disable all plugins and see what the speed is. Then turn on the plugins one by one and see what creates the load.

It is quite possible that the low speed is not due to plugins, but because of the template. Replacing the template with a faster and more adaptive one helped me. I wrote about it in the fall.

4 – Pictures

Anya has a loaded image width of 1000. I don’t know how it is on other devices, but on my laptop I can see an image with a width of 650.

Pictures weigh 300-450 KB. This also affects the download speed. I try to compress my pictures as much as possible to 100-200 kb maximum.

If the image is only partially visible on all monitors, you can optimize old images using the plugin EWWW Image Optimizer. Or at least load new ones that are smaller in weight and size.

Plus write down the names of the photos in Latin. Titles must match the article. A set of signs is not a good idea.

It is advisable to register title, alt and a description for each picture. For example, if the article is about Paris, then the picture is called “Paris-foto”, and not fornwp1994.jpg

5 — Post publication date

My blog does not show the date of publication, but the date of the last updates. Thus, when I update the article, the person sees a new date in a Google search.

Psychologically, a user is more likely to click on an article written in 2016 than one written in 2012. In this way, we add shine to old articles and increase their attractiveness. I removed the date of publication of comments.

I updated old articles, updated prices, and added information on the topic. Be sure to add several new paragraphs to the article (at least 100-200 words), and not just change the date, so that search engines understand that the article has changed.

The result of such actions: over time, search traffic began to flow to articles that no one had visited for 3 years.

My articles about Cancun were written in 2012, after updating posts in 2016, the position increased

6 – NICHE

Everyone talks about this. Using my own example, I was convinced that a niche is a mega-important thing. That is, 30 articles about Spain, correctly linked and leading to one main detailed article about how to go to Spain is better than 200 articles about all countries in a row.

Spain is just an example. A niche can be anything. My niche is Georgia (more than 300 articles that were written before Georgia receive 10-20 times less traffic than articles about Georgia).

In order to make money on affiliate programs, it is more profitable to create a website about one or several countries than to blog about travel around the world.

If we plan to earn money, then initially we create a website that solves people’s problems. We answer questions that we ourselves encountered while preparing for the trip, and provide links to useful resources(local bus company, airport website), do not forget to indicate prices. Let's share useful information. If this is a photo article, then we write at what specific point the pictures were taken.

This does not mean that all articles must be informational. No. For example, you can write about something that is nice to talk about, and at the same time put a link to one useful article with information about preparing for a trip to this country.

This is not the surest path and a waste of time if you consider a blog only as a tool for making money, but if inspiration disappears in another way, then at least this way.

7 — Raise the positions of articles

You need to promote not the entire blog, but specific articles if the goal is to earn money. Which articles to promote is also an important question on which the work will depend.

How do you plan to make money? If you are on affiliate programs, then one conversation, but if you create your own information products, then you need to put all the emphasis on collecting a subscription base, maintaining a mailing list, etc.

Here we will look at search traffic for the sake of making money on affiliate programs. We need visitors to selling articles. Popular articles that already have traffic, you need:

A) monetize b) raise to TOP

  9. Every novice webmaster in the field of Internet marketing faces complex problem– how to increase website traffic? It is very difficult for a young site to reach the top positions of the search results, even if the brand has a good reputation and the site contains high-quality and unique content.

    What are we talking about?

There are a great many websites of different companies on the Internet that appeared earlier, and indexing will already play in their favor. If you need to promote the website of a store selling clothes, then it is almost impossible to get into the top 10 of Yandex or Google for the request “buy clothes”. But this does not mean that the young site will be deprived of traffic. You can achieve high traffic and, accordingly, profit from the site if you approach the matter competently. We'll look at 9 real ways, which will help increase site traffic!

    How to increase website traffic?

    1. Structure. You can attract more visitors if you correctly compose a semantic core. The content should include the widest possible set of “keys” that characterize the product or service being offered. Such a competent website structure will help you stand out among your competitors.

    2. Working with content. Articles should not only be unique, readable and optimized, but also relevant. If a visitor finds a site using the query “wallpaper for walls,” and it says about painting the ceiling, then the site visitor will leave the page. It’s not even worth talking about conversion here. The article must answer the question of the article, be literate, structured (logically connected paragraphs, subheadings, lists), supported by photographs or even infographics (now this is interesting to users).

Today, search engines are becoming smarter. They learned to distinguish simply optimized (SEO) articles from relevant ones. In other words, when issuing, not only the main key is taken into account, but also “satellites”. It will be easier to understand this if you study LSI.

Official pages should be analogous to a store: name, description of goods (services), details, etc. This is additional promotion of the brand. Millions of people are on social networks every day. You should send out invitations to your target audience, hold competitions with gifts, various promotions, and post news. This free way increase not only site traffic, but also its popularity!

You can order advertising in other public pages that already have a huge number of subscribers. It will cost a pretty penny, but it's worth it: traffic will grow. Another option is to promote the group through copywriting exchanges. You can order there for a small price positive reviews and posts to create activity in the group.

    4. Email marketing. Many people think that sending promotional emails to e-mail no longer works, although statistics have shown that with a competent approach this increases conversion by 5-10%.

    5. Reviews. You can also be involved in writing reviews on Yandex.Market. The fact is that search engines react to the frequency of reviews when ranking.

Work should also be done with negative reviews, if any. There is no need to remove them immediately. It’s better to get to the bottom of the problem, understand what customers didn’t like in order to fix the problem immediately after it arises.

    6. Webinars. There is another accessible method of attracting visitors - self-promotion through webinars.

    7. YouTube channel. This, of course, is quite a labor-intensive task, but the return will be ensured. It is also necessary to post videos there, for example, product presentations and video tutorials on their use. This is an opportunity to do good advertising your website, and a chance to make a profit from monetizing the channel itself.

    8. Paid advertising. You will have to spend money here, but this is a great way to attract the target audience to the site. Order contextual and banner advertising possible on , Google AdSense, Rotaban. You can also run other social networks. Roughly speaking, you should rent space on thematic sites and place links to your resource there. The similarity of topics is very important. For example, if you need to increase the traffic of an online store of suspended ceilings, then you should place the link on a website (blog) dedicated to repairs.

    9. Focus on low-frequency queries. A huge amount of content has already been created for high-frequency queries, so the emphasis should be on . For example, “buy a suspended ceiling” is a high-frequency request. And “buy a film stretch ceiling in Volgograd” is a low-frequency request.

You can quickly promote a young resource, increase site traffic and income if you combine the methods described above.

    Hello guys!

In this article I will tell you about the 2 most effective ways How to increase website traffic for free and in the shortest possible time.

This will be useful to everyone who has just created their own information site to make money or a blog on some topic. You can immediately use these methods and get your first visitors, and possibly your first regular audience.

I will also show my real results and how effective these methods are. I’ll attach real statistics so that everything doesn’t seem unfounded.

I'll start by looking a little at the importance of attracting visitors to a new site.

We all know very well that you can’t immediately see visitors from search engines. You need to wait until the site acquires valuable materials and has some authority in the eyes of search engines. Only then can we count on visitors from Yandex and Google search.

To speed up this process evaluation of our site, we need to attract visitors. Based on their behavior, search engines will make an assessment of the quality of our materials and the site as a whole. In the SEO world this is called .

Initially, there is simply nowhere to get data from to analyze the usefulness of the resource. Therefore, you need to help search engines get them. To do this, we need real visitors who will read our articles, comment and return to the site again.

If you actively engage in attracting traffic, then search engines will quickly understand that our site is useful and will slowly begin to move it to the top. But this is provided that the resource is really useful and the visitor benefits from it.

If the site does not have a convenient design, navigation, correct structure articles, readable text for people, then attracting visitors from the point of view of this factor will be in vain. Or even play against you. Therefore, you first need to thoroughly develop the site, which is what we will do on my blog. I will explain all the questions to you in detail.

Now let's look at my real example of how to increase website traffic quickly, for free and get visitors who will actually increase the site's ranking in the eyes of search engines.

The main feature of the methods is that visitors come to the site thematically, that is, an interested audience on your topic. This way they won't immediately close the site. At a minimum, they will glance at your materials, and in some cases they will become your regular readers and will return to the site again and again. This factor also decides a lot.

So, let's move on to the first method.

Increasing traffic by commenting on thematic blogs and forums

This method interesting because you can get visitors instantly, but not always.

Its essence is to comment on other thematic blogs, while leaving a link to your resource in the “Site” field. This way you will gain a link mass to some extent and attract thematic traffic.

In addition, if the site hosts commentator competitions, you can earn a little money.

As for the results that can be achieved, below I show the traffic statistics from one comment on a good blog (Alexander Borisov’s blog). Unfortunately, I cannot provide detailed statistics of each visit for that particular day, since this can only be viewed in the web viewer, and it only saves data for the last 2 weeks.

Therefore, here is the general data from clicks on the link left in the comments for the first 3 days.

As you can see, 18, 16 and 14 visitors in the first 3 days. And this is one comment left in a new article. Of course, everything was done correctly and I will tell you how to leave good comments in the following materials.

Of course, there are other visitors here via links on the sites. But 95% of this is from the link in the comments.

And here are the parameters of the visit data. Look at all the indicators in the table. They are very good.

You need to take into account the fact that not every blog will be able to get such results. You need to find 3-5 blogs on your topic, where new materials are published quite often and they immediately gather excitement around themselves in the video with a large number of comments. Only then can you count on the effect.

If this result gives 1 good blog, then imagine that there will be 5 of them in your arsenal? Do the math for yourself. And this does not take into account the fact that I only left 1 comment. But it was designed to attract visitors. I formulated it very well

As for practical implementation, there is no need to describe this process for a long time. Even if we take the comment form on my blog as an example, there is a “Site” field that must be filled in when adding your answer.

To find blogs on your topic, you need to enter “blogs about/about” in the search, where you add your topic, for example, “blog about cooking.” You can also write a specific problem, thereby possibly getting to good resources. Pay attention to commentators, since very often it is the owners of sites on similar topics who comment.

It is worth noting that not only blogs, but also ordinary information sites can be suitable. The main condition here is active commenting. It also matters where your comment will be, at the beginning of the list or at the end? If at the beginning, then you will be under more attention and there will be more transitions.

By the way, to quickly find out about the release of new articles on your favorite and popular blogs and be the first to leave comments, you can use the program RSS FAST, which will notify you about the release of new materials instantly.

There is nothing more to say about commenting on blogs. It remains only to add a few words about commenting on thematic forums.

This method also has a place to be, since there are sometimes even more forums than blogs. The principle is the same. Go to the forum, register and look for the created topics where forum users ask for some advice and questions. You join the discussion and by the way say that you can find out the solution to the problem by clicking on the link below and provide a link to the article on your website.

You can also simply communicate without giving any links, since this is prohibited by the rules on most forums. Then you just need to communicate and attach a signature in your profile settings, which will contain a link to the site.

I once practiced this method. Of course, this method assumes some expertise in your topic, since you must answer user questions. Alternatively, you can practice this method. It is more labor intensive.

Let's move on to the second point of the question, how to increase website traffic for free and quickly.

    Announcing materials in various services

You probably know this method only thanks to the service Subscribe. If not, then pay close attention to it.

The essence of the method is as follows. After publishing the material on your website, you can immediately make announcements on other resources, where possible. In this case, a short description material and a picture, also attached is a link to your page. That's the whole announcement.

You can see an example of such an announcement here. This is one of my announcements, which brought a very good number of visits throughout the entire period. To prove the effectiveness of this method, I also propose to consider statistics.

The results are obvious. I highly recommend this method to everyone as a source of first visitors to the site. Works at 300%.

Regarding the effectiveness of such visits, the situation is good, as is the case with commenting. Here is a table of the total number of transitions for all days.

It can be seen that there are practically no failures. The time spent on the site is more than normal. Everything else is also normal.

In addition to these statistics, I can also show data for each visit. See the image below. It is large, but reflects the situation for the entire day.

Note that some visits last a very long time, which shows the usefulness of those visitors who sit on the rented service. Of course, some simply opened the page and did nothing on it. But there are few of them. For the most part, the visitor actually scrolled through and looked at the material. And sometimes I read everything in detail.

Showed statistics. Now you can move on to practice.

The first step is register in the service. I won’t describe the procedure, it’s simple. Enter your data, then confirm your registration and you are a full-fledged user of the service.

Now we need to find groups to which we will publish announcements. Go to the "Groups" section. The link is at the top center of the page.

This way we look for the category we need. Once selected, a list of all groups will appear. For example, in the screenshot above you can see that I selected the “Woman’s World” category and the “Beauty” subcategory.

The initial list of groups will be as follows.

Also, as you can see, group parameters will be displayed:

    • number of subscribers;
    • number of topics created;
    • number of comments.

The better these indicators, the ultimately we will be able to get more visitors. Therefore, we are not looking for as many groups as possible, but for the best possible group. There will be no effect from a large quantity, but small quality. We always strive for quality, remember this.

Now you should select a group and add a new announcement to it. For example, I will select the "Handicraft" group. I go into it and immediately quickly examine the group. As soon as you join the group, announcements of other participants will immediately be displayed. The first step is to determine whether it is possible to publish new topics.

If you see that all the topics are from one participant, then most likely you will not be able to add your publications. If the topics are from different people, then you can.

The rules page is usually located either at the very top of the group before the link to create a new topic.

Or in the left column in the “Important Topics” section.

As you can see, this is where the page with the rules is located. Go to it and read all the rules carefully. It is possible that they will not suit you and you will throw this group out of your attention. You may also need to join a group to view topics.

If the group is suitable, then we can start publishing our announcements. On the main page of the community we click on the link “Create a new topic”.

On the next page you create your announcement. Select a category for publication. Name your topic and fill in the content. We also add an image for full effect. See everything in the image below.

In most cases, if the group is good and of high quality, your topic will be moderated. If you have followed all the rules, it will soon be published and you will begin to receive cherished visitors.

We have reviewed the Subscribe service. This is what you should focus on first. This best service for announcement. Besides him, there are of course others. For example, thematic social networks. They also need to be looked for. To help you, again, search Yandex and Google.

The principle with other services is similar. But you shouldn’t spray yourself with everything at once. Take a small quantity, but high quality.

This concludes the material in this article. What came out, in my opinion, was very interesting and useful material with irrefutable facts in a video of screenshots of my statistics. Also at the beginning of the article, the video shows everything clearly.

So, in the following articles I will look at other working methods for getting quality traffic. Wait.

And at the end of such a detailed material, I would like to hear your comments below. Write your opinions and your methods that give you good results. It will be interesting to know what you use.

    All. Until the next article!

    Best regards, Konstantin Khmelev!

Good day! Today I will tell you about... Many people, especially novice bloggers, ask this question. I will try to answer you and increase blog traffic.

The biggest mistake of novice webmasters is that some of them try to immediately conquer the peaks, to achieve more than 1000 unique visitors per day to their blog. This seems stupid to me. You need to unwind gradually, set certain standards for yourself. Of course, with proper advertising and promotion, you can reach several thousand visitors in a month, but this requires experience, money, etc. Therefore, I will talk about the most common methods that will increase blog traffic based on my life experience.

How to increase blog traffic from 0 to 1000

    From 0 to 20

When I created the blog, my first goal was to reach 20 people. Someone will say this very simply, but remembering myself, I will tell you that this was not easy for me. I wanted those same 20 people - that was the minimum. To reach 20 people a day, I tried to write the most useful things, a kind of basis, a foundation for the blog. I wanted the reader, after reading the first articles, to want to stay on the blog, move on to other posts, and of course I really wanted the reader to turn into a subscriber. I contacted the blog readers who left a comment by email (in the admin panel you can see the email of each commentator), thanked everyone for their comment, asked them to visit the blog more and more often, told them about what awaits them in the future and asked.

I also asked almost all my friends to come in, look at the site, evaluate it, ask for advice on where and what is wrong, what could be improved in the design, in the articles. In general, I understood that it was clearer from the outside. I was looking for a template for my blog for a very long time, I really liked it (by the way, it’s still standing, I’ll probably order it soon unique template for the blog), but I wrote with love, I tried, I understood that the main thing is to start, and then everything will work out. Overall, I literally fell in love with my blog, I loved almost everything about it. But deep down I understood that it was far from ideal, that there were many shortcomings and other unnecessary things. That is why I had to resort to the help of strangers.

I also commented on other blogs. Naturally, I left the address of my blog in the site address. Moreover, comments should not be of the type “cool article!”, “cool,” “I liked it, author write more!”, but should be a meaningful comment. I subscribed to RSS for several blogs in my niche (the same topic) and followed the feed. I was one of those who left comments first, this was important, since I had to try to leave comments while the article was relevant. As a result, the first transitions from other sites and blogs began.

    From 20 to 50

When the bar of 20 people was reached, I set myself a new goal - 50 “uniques” (unique visitors)/day. To be honest, this was not easy to achieve. I wanted to retain every visitor to my blog. After all these actions, regular readers began to appear. I announced all the articles on Twitter. Besides twitter(), I used others social services. Finding a social network for your topic is not so difficult, just type “social network your_topic” in Yandex or Google.

For example, if your blog is on the Internet (website creation, promotion, etc.), like mine, you can use grabr.ru and webice.ru. You simply register on these services and add your announcements. That is, in the URL you insert the address of your post, in the title - something on the topic and preferably something enticing, and in the description of the announcement, a short text, after reading which even you yourself would want to go to full version articles. Such social networks a lot, you just need to find something suitable for yourself.

I also used bobrdobr.ru, memori.ru and other social bookmarks before. True, the exhaust from them is small. Therefore, now it is practically not relevant to use them. I also continued to comment on other blogs, spending about 10-20 minutes a day on this, no more. The most important thing, it is advisable to leave comments on all blogs under the same name, with the same avatar and with the correct address of your blog!

    From 50 to 100

After some time, I somehow reached a daily attendance of 50 people. Another limit of 100 people/day has appeared. When I had already typed in “fifty dollars,” I could feel the presence of regular readers, even if there were less than 10 of them, but it still made me incredibly happy. I wanted to prevent it from happening to hold them back. It was necessary to move forward. Now I began to comment mainly on those blogs where there is a section for TOP commentators. The transition of visitors from TOP commentators may be small, but it is there - about 1% (even a little more) of blog traffic. Thanks to the TOP commentators, your name will be heard, and some will begin to recognize you. Also, on most blogs, the link from the TOP commenters block is not blocked from indexing, which will allow you to get links from the main(!) page of that blog. And all this will increase your performance, PR, etc.

I also started writing “series” of articles to . I started participating in all sorts of competitions to receive links from other blogs, as well as good prizes. I devoted a lot of time to all this, but now I rarely participate in competitions. The reason is lack of time...

I also registered on several forums and asked to rate my blog. Also on portals and forums, he left a link to his blog and a short description as a signature. Until now, traffic (visitors) comes from some forums, including regional ones, although I gave up on all this a long time ago, although in vain.

Besides all this, I did the following. There is a service on the Internet called Google Questions and Answers, go there and enter a question on the topic of your blog. For example, I searched for “How to create a blog” and Google gave me some results. And you answer the question, just try to answer and leave a link to your site in such a way that no one will guess that the address of the blog you advise belongs to you, leave it as if unnoticed. The simplest example is here (I left a link to my resource). Answer exactly 5-10 questions (the more, the better) and, if what you recommend is a really high-quality project, Google users will give “pluses” to your comment, as a result of which your comment will rise higher. All this will bring a constant influx of new, most importantly thematic visitors to your blog, so don’t miss out this method. You can work similarly with Mail.ru Questions and Answers.

    From 100 to 300

I will continue to talk about how to increase blog traffic. Next comes the most interesting part, namely: search engine promotion. Now, in order to reach a new level, it was necessary to optimize the blog and articles. First of all, I blocked unnecessary links from indexing (added nofollow), corrected all(!) articles, slightly optimized the text, added title and alt to all(!) pictures (). Edited titles and descriptions of articles using (analogous to the more famous All in SEO Pack). I also tried to correctly link the pages to each other and added .

    Assignment to marathon runners

Anyone who does not reach this target will be excluded from the marathon. Believe me, with a little effort, you can easily achieve the desired result.
