The user swears, suffers and goes to the salon to buy a current flagship. He’s “so used to Samsungs.” There is no need to step on the same rake, let’s use our brains.

I thought the device was slowing down in energy saving mode. But wait! Why did I spend 30 kilo rubles on all this pandemonium? I could buy Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro for 8 thousand rubles and, most interestingly, not have such problems. And this despite all the gluttony of their proprietary MIUI shell.
Not frequent, but stable glitches
For example, just a couple of days ago the following happened. I went to Google Play Market to update all applications on the smartphone (auto-update is disabled), but I could not do it. Why? The "Update All" button simply didn't work.
Of course, I thought it was some kind of store glitch, I went to the main screen and killed all the processes. Did it help? Not even once!

I once read another article by Eldar Murtazin, where he talked about how the oleophobic coating wears off after a month, so there’s no need to have any illusions about this. I thought this was completely stupid, because I had never encountered anything like this. On any smartphone, even a budget one, oleophobia lasts for at least six months. That's what I thought until I started using a Samsung smartphone.

- The camera has been redesigned, the resolution has been reduced to 12 megapixels, focusing speed and detail have increased, color reproduction has been improved, on the sevens the camera is the best on the market and shoots perfectly in the dark;

A good device that did not sell at all, the basic 16 GB version cost 35 thousand rubles, but for this money people chose the LG G4, which has a card memory. As a result, the cost today is 25 thousand rubles, while 32 GB costs 37 thousand rubles. This makes the device similar in price to the same type S6, but noticeably cheaper than the S7. The question here is who do you think it competes with, the old S6 or the new S7.

It can be argued that the Galaxy sevens have no direct competitors in terms of their capabilities. On the other hand, it all depends on how much you need certain functions. It is possible that the same protection from water is not important for you and you do not need it. By varying the parameters and what you need specifically, you can choose a device that suits exactly your needs. Don't force yourself and buy something you don't like. If you are disgusted by the Samsung brand, then leave it to others; there are many alternatives described above from which you can choose a worthy device. They weren't that fundamental. The Galaxy S7 line of smartphones, especially the curved variant, was the culmination of several years of work by Samsung on design, internals and software. Naturally, these devices became one of the best smartphones 2016.

The Galaxy S7 Edge was not Samsung's first attempt to release a screen with curved edges, but it showed the company's desire to separate the two flagship models. was more of a demonstration technological capabilities, then enjoyed moderate demand, after which it was released in the same year. Next, Samsung understood what users wanted and began to offer a combination of aesthetics and functionality.
The Galaxy S7 line reintroduced many user-favorite features, such as water protection, memory card support, and large batteries. At the same time, the development of software continued, which became more and more tolerant.
When you look at the Galaxy S7 Edge now, it starts to look dated, thanks in large part to the large bezels at the top and bottom of the 16:9 AMOLED screen, as well as the physical Home button. The case still remains masterful and many do not like the solution in modern smartphones move the fingerprint scanner to the back to get more screen space. Whereas the Galaxy S7 Edge uses Samsung sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.7, as in the Galaxy S8, new model acquired an auxiliary telephoto rear camera and a brighter f/1.5 aperture on the 12 MP main camera.
