One of the most reliable payment systems, WebMoney has always provided high-quality services to its customers. Using an electronic wallet, you have the opportunity to pay for services of any type. The user can also link his credit card to the account and deposit and withdraw funds. In addition, you can take out a loan for your WMR or WMZ. The stability of WM does not need to be discussed. Programmers and professionals work on productivity. Despite this, it happens that WebMoney does not work. What needs to be done if WebMoney does not work and an error occurred during authorization will be discussed later in the article.

What errors may occur

Let's figure out why the payment service may be inactive. These can be a variety of situations: engineering works that are maintained in the system, you enter the password incorrectly, something is wrong with the Internet, or the application is incompatible with the software of your smartphone or tablet. To know exactly what happened with WebMoney and how to fix it, let's look at what errors there are.

Error classification

Files on your computer may be damaged.

  • The data entered is incorrect.
  • Invalid key file.
  • Adaptation of the program for software.

If one of these options happens to you, then follow the steps described below.

How to cope

Error Files!

This is usually a WebMoney application error. This means that the files that support the application have stopped working for some reason. For example, you did a disk cleanup and something was deleted, or you simply did not complete the installation completely. To correct this situation, simply reinstall the program (Keeper Standard, Classic and Light).

Login details

  • WMID (combination of 12 digits, issued upon registration)
  • Password
  • And the confirmation key that comes to your phone.

It often happens that an error occurs because the user made a mistake in just one digit. If you have forgotten your WMID, you can log in using your phone number or email.

You can only recover your password using your mobile phone. Simply put, even if you have lost all your data or simply don’t remember, but your phone (to which the wallet is registered) works, then you will definitely be authorized. If you have problems with your phone, or rather the SIM card, you need to change the phone number in the system.

Let's look at what error can occur in the first login to the Keeper Classic program. We enter the data, indicate the location where the keys are stored “This computer”.

After you do everything, you will receive instructions by email.

Even with the best of all existing services, you may encounter a situation where the exchange does not complete properly. No, this does not mean at all that the exchanger is bad and provides low-quality service: we will see this below.

So, what happened to you error when exchanging WebMoney (webmoney). What to do?

Let's first decide whether the money went to the service from you? Perhaps your transfer was not completed initially and your funds are in currently as they were in your wallet, they remain there. Update your list of wallets or view your transaction history. If your transfer was not completed, then you simply need to repeat your exchange. Among the main reasons for such troubles, the most common is unaccounted commission payment system: people often forget that for any transfer (transaction) the WebMoney system charges a commission of 0.8%. In other words, if you have 100 rubles in your wallet, you will not be able to exchange exactly 100 rubles. Taking into account the need to pay a commission, you can only exchange 99 rubles and 20 kopecks. Other reasons for canceling a payment are quite varied, but we will not dwell on them, since this is completely unimportant: the funds are with you and you can simply repeat the exchange.

What to do if you transferred funds, but the money didn't arrive(i.e. you didn't receive the transfer)?

In this case, oddly enough, absolutely nothing bad happened. You will laugh, but 99% of users who report an exchange error simply did not update the list of their wallets. That is, they received the money a long time ago (usually right at the time of the exchange!), but they simply don’t see it. Update your wallet list. If you still don’t have money, make sure that you have permission to receive transfers in your settings. You could very well ban them completely by accident! If you have checked this point, pay attention to the limits on the balance of funds on wallets and on the volume of transactions: if at least one of the limits is exceeded, you will not be able to receive the transfer.

Detailed instructions about this (with pictures!) you can find on our website - on the quick help page.

If you have already ruled out all the obvious options, but you still don’t have money, even in this case there is absolutely no need to panic and get upset! Just contact the service administration for help through the ticket system: they will answer your question very quickly, clearly explain the reason for what happened and recommend further steps to eliminate the cause of this error. This can be done on a special page of the ticket system.

Remember that even in the most extreme case, when it is technically impossible to eliminate the cause of the error, you can always simply get your funds back. But this, as a rule, comes to this only in exceptional cases and the exchanges carried out can be completed quickly.

I sent a letter to technical support, a day passed... I still haven’t received an answer, so I’m asking for help here, maybe someone had a similar situation and you can help me =(

In general, when I log into WebMoney everything is ok, it launches me into the program, but as soon as the connection to the center starts, I get an error

https://wiki.webmoney.ru/files/sereznaya.jpg

I tried to reinstall WebMoney, there was no result, then I tried to change the location of the key files, but it won’t let me into TOOLS, it says No connection to the center...

What to do? Is this a virus or a glitch or what? or is Webmoney having problems? Please tell me, thanks in advance.

24.02.2010, 23:37

was there a lot of money in the ake? :-(

24.02.2010, 23:40

Well, not to say that it’s very... normal.
When I log into WebMoney, all this money is there, it’s just that when I establish a connection, I get this error and then WebMoney closes... =(

I wrote to technical support, most likely they will answer within 2 days...
how to write to arbitration? =(
why did you decide that there is no money there? Do you think it's a hack? Have you encountered such a situation? thanks in advance for the answers.

There are two options: either someone has gained access to your wallet, or you have a Trojan on your computer.
In the first case, we recommend that you change the keys and all passwords that are used to access wmid, and also set up IP blocking.
If you do not have access to wmid, then you should go through the standard procedure for restoring access - http://webmoney.ru/rus/about/demo/help/classic/resp1_02_key_lose.shtml
In order to find a Trojan virus on your computer, you can do the following, see http://virusinfo.info/showthread.php?t=1235
In addition, it is recommended to carefully read the contents of https://security.webmoney.ru/asp/default.asp and the site http://owebmoney.ru

You should contact the police with a statement about the crime committed against you
illegal actions.

To do this you need:

1. Contact the police department at your place of residence (find the nearest police department in the city).
Moscow can be found at the link http://petrovka38.ru/rus/map/index.wbp);
2. Don’t forget to take your passport with you;
3. Write an application addressed to the head of the police department to which you applied;
4. Receive a coupon notification of registration of your application in the KUSP journal;
5. Recommend to the police officer on duty (or the person who accepted your application)
To resolve issues related to your application, contact
divisions of Special Technical Events.

In the application, you must indicate as accurately as possible all the information you have.
information: wallet number, your contact details, detailed information O
payment. If possible, attach documents confirming enrollment in your
wallet.

Sit down with this Natalya Yuryevna herself! maybe she lost her passport and didn’t open an account with Alpha Bank herself (or died a long time ago), (http://amp-modeling.info/se_12.php) then on her behalf (if she’s alive) the account can be blocked by contacting the security service Alpha Bank.

In 64-bit Windows, the virus cannot infect the system by simply copying itself to system32 or system64, since
Only digitally signed drivers can start (http://amp-modeling.info/se_14.php) and the Microsoft signature has not yet been broken by hackers.

Enum (link to phone).
Who knows where they might have picked it up. Otherwise, restore it, of course, otherwise you’ll be tormented whether the money was taken or not, and WebMoney won’t tell you about it (they have the same rules).
But my sad experience suggests that almost 100% of the money is no longer there.

25.02.2010, 18:45

Wow!
Tok wanted to create a topic about how my webmoney was taken away, but here I already have something to write about :)

I’m telling you what happened to me today - read it, because... There are 2 very interesting points.
Kaspersky installed on PC Internet Security, license, self-defense, expert mode is turned on (or whatever it’s called, when he asks about everything that is not allowed - what to do)

Because I'm lazy, the kvm files are on the HDD (yes, this is probably the main problem)

Yesterday, having finished working with WebMoney (Keeper Classic), I closed the application, did not disconnect from the Internet, and left the computer to collect backups overnight.

At 13:00 I needed to make a payment - I launch the keeper - the error is the same as in the TS, I try a couple more times, reboot the PC - again the same thing, I re-initialize - the passwords for the keeper/keys do not work.
Okay, I think (maybe they have glitches) - I have E-num authorization configured - I go to the payment interface and am shocked - there is 0 on the WMR wallet.
I make payments from WMZ, for some reason there is 90WMZ left there.
Still hoping for WM glitches (after all, there was no SMS about connecting from unauthorized equipment/from left-handed IPs) - I go to the connection log (I also log in via enum) - I look at all calls only from my subnet, but!! I see that the last IP is not equal to the penultimate one (and I didn’t disconnect the computer from the Internet, before problems with logging in) - I go into the provider’s account and look - indeed, the last IP (indicated in WebMoney) was never given to me, and there was only a connection there for 1 minute.
Then I already realized that there was a hack, money bye bye.
Well, okay - it's all bullshit. (Wrote where I need it for restoration - I’m waiting)

The most important thing is how was it taken away?

Why did they disdain WMZ currency and take only wooden ones?
How did the attacker find out from which subnet to look for the zombie car, because to do this you need to log into the WebMoney panel, and to do this log in - I think an SMS would immediately arrive (although I don’t know - if WebMoney doesn’t return the money, I’ll write a statement - if I’m lucky, the machine from which I entered in WebMoney it will not be zombified, but it’s purely a coincidence that the thief uses the same provider as me, it will be cool)

25.02.2010, 23:13

but WebMoney won’t tell you about this (they have these rules).
you call on the phone and they tell you whether the stated amount is in the wallets or not

WebMoney security is configured to log in only from the IP mask xxx.xxx.*.*

Comrade, it has already been said a hundred times, a block by mask has little effect (especially if you have something like Corbina or Ukrtelecom), you need a block at ONE IP address.

Why was there no SMS about launching on non-activated equipment?

Activation is done by software, and does not present any obstacle for an attacker at all, I heard from competent people.

Why did Kaspersky miss the infection?
because Kaspersky is UG

How did the attacker find out from which subnet to look for the zombie car, because to do this you need to log into the WebMoney panel

The most obvious thing is that when the Trojan stole your passwords and key files, it also transferred your current IP address, fortunately this is elementary

In general, webmoney’s security is completely in shambles; you have to be constantly on guard. All their poking at the fact that users themselves are incompetent is rather pathetic. They could at least provide round-the-clock arbitration, but no, Mon-Fri 9-00 - 18-00.

26.02.2010, 00:58

Well, yes... WebMoney is to blame for everything... well, isn't it lol, huh?

My personal friends work both at Kaspersky and other web sites, I know firsthand. So about “talking nonsense”, repeat this to yourself again in front of the mirror.

There is an opinion that many victims simply do not explain everything, preferring to blame the VM for the software's mistakes...
You can draw this analogy - you bought yourself a lock for front door. And the manufacturer tells you - just don’t leave the apartment, otherwise they’ll rob you - we won’t improve the lock anyway (let it remain the same crap for which every lazy thief already has a master key). If you're going out, put a tripwire mine (block on IP) :D

I think this analogy is more appropriate:
They installed a small safe in your office, not a bank vault, but now you can still lock your cash away from the table with a key, and they say: you still don’t accept anyone in this room, any suspicious-looking individuals, don’t shout on the street that there is a safe here, and don’t tell everyone how much money is in it, don’t keep the key to the safe on a nail next to it, don’t write a code on its door, install an alarm and post a guard, and it would be very nice to introduce a pass system... ;) otherwise they might take your money right in the safe under your arm... :)

26.02.2010, 08:26

I keep wondering how they could steal my password for logging into WebMoney - I don’t understand, but oh well, what the hell with this password - maybe the Casper logger missed them, but how did the thief get the password for the keys, since I entered it the last time a year and a half ago? Or is the need for this somehow circumvented too?

How long you have to wait depends on how busy they are.

By the way, they told me that the last time the amount was withdrawn was 800 cu, I remember that I withdrew but it was somewhere on February 9... and they told me that they withdrew 800 cu on February 12, but I no longer had that kind of money there May be? Oh, there was a maximum of 500, but not 800, that I know for sure.

System electronic payments Webmoney is one of the most popular tools for non-cash payments. A third of the Runet constantly uses electronic money for payments. Due to the high load on the servers, sometimes there are failures associated with the transfer of funds. In this case, Webmoney shows error code 500 and notifies the user that the operation is impossible. In this article we will look at the causes and solutions to the problem.

Vulnerabilities in the Webmoney network code

The main advantage of the service is fast cash payment, which is not tied to the client’s physical location. All payments are made in in electronic format, where one Webmoney currency symbol corresponds to the real currency of an individual country. With the development of the Internet, the number active users has increased exponentially. How more people uses the system, the greater the likelihood of an accidental error in software server.

Transfer, withdrawal to card, account replenishment are functions that are vulnerable during peak load on server equipment. In addition, it is possible to exceed the number of requests using a DDOS attack. Attackers use hacker programs to break through system security and take advantage of other people's wallets.

Today Webmoney is one of the most secure Internet services.

Although a few years ago the system’s technical support missed several critical bugs. This led to the fact that any user could change phone number, linked to someone else's account. Massive customer complaints provoked a wave of discontent and almost led to the closure of the service. Fortunately, Webmoney employees quickly dealt with the problem.

The Wikimoney website recommends taking the Lazy Investor Course, where you will learn how to get out of your financial ass and learn how to earn passive income. No enticements, only high-quality information from a practicing investor (from real estate to cryptocurrency).

What does code 500 mean in a Webmoney error?

The user receives a failure message due to errors in the HTTP protocols. They are associated with problems with the server that sends data packets to the user's computer. To understand what the error is, a special code is displayed on the screen. There are four types in total, they differ in the number at the beginning of the number:

  • 2xx. The request was completed successfully;
  • 3xx. Data packets were redirected to another server;
  • 4xx. Admitted critical error, the data was not transferred to the user. Signals that the data specified by a person is inaccurate;
  • 5xx. Server malfunction or overload. These codes indicate an incorrect hardware configuration that is causing data to not be exchanged.

If the WebMoney server is overloaded and cannot issue a request within the allotted time, the user will see the message “Internal server error,” which is called error 500. It is almost always associated with hardware problems and inaccuracies in the program code.

In the Webmoney system, if a payment fails, the message “An error occurred while processing the command. Error code 500."

Reasons for the error

Most scripts for server hardware are written in PHP language. If they are hosted, specifying 777 access rights to them may generate an error. This is due to the fact that such rights allow files to be edited at any time by any user, which significantly reduces the security of the site. Blocking rights depends on the hoster and is not always enforced.

Setting the configurator file.htaccess can also affect the operation of the system. Incorrect directives, third-party rules and inaccuracies in the writing of the structure are regarded by the server as a critical error. To solve the problem you need to disable the Options directive. This can be done by commenting the corresponding line. Most hosting providers provide their file with the correct syntax.

Complex scripts require significant computational costs, which results in server overload. To optimize work, a certain period of time is set in the server settings. If the script file has not been executed within this time, it is forcibly disabled. As a result, the client receives an error message 500 in Webmoney.

The last reason is incorrect setting CGI scripts:

  • File line endings are written in Windows format, not UNIX. To avoid this, scripts must be loaded onto the server in ASCII mode;
  • Folders with scripts do not have access rights 07555;
  • After the file finished processing, an incorrect HTTP response header was received.

Solution

Before contacting technical support, make sure that the problem is really on the server side. If other sites besides Webmoney also show error 500, the problem can be resolved manually. To do this you need to clear cookies and cache memory in your browser. IN Google Chrome go to the tools icon in the top right corner. Select the "Delete Browsing Data" option in the "Advanced Tools" tab. In the “Clear History” window, select all items to completely free up memory.

After cleaning, close your Webmoney account and restart your computer. Log in to your account again and check the functionality of the service. If the problem persists, disable all unnecessary Chrome extensions. Extension icons are located to the left of the tools tab.

Nothing helped? The last option remains - contacting technical support. To do this, go to support.wmtransfer.com and click on the link to create a new request. If you cannot transfer funds due to an error, the service workers will do it manually. Describe your problem in detail and attach screenshots if possible. This will significantly speed up the process.

Other error codes

In addition to error code 500, there are several more frequent malfunctions when using Webmoney. They are related to technical nuances in the work of keepers and wallets. For example, code 5 indicates a failure in the program update or errors in the Click&Buy Merchant interface. Code 11 appears when installing several different keepers on one computer. This is not possible due to IP address mismatches and conflicts.

Error codes that are rare:

  • Indicates a malfunction in the operation of Merchant Pay, appears only in 1% of all cases of malfunctions;
  • Occurs when data from banking transactions and certificates are incompatible;
  • Appears after trying to deposit a Paymer card into a WMZ account. In this case, the card must be prepaid;
  • Occurs when entering a registration number in WM Keeper Classic.

Webmoney is constantly developing and improving, adding new features and tools. Along with development, new bugs may appear in the system. If detected earlier unknown errors We recommend contacting the service’s technical support to provide the most effective solution.

Conclusion

Most malfunctions are related to server equipment. The user can only clear the cache memory of his browser if the problem appears on other sites. With error 500 in Webmoney, money transfers to bank card. In this case, it is recommended to immediately contact technical support for a refund. Don't take risks! Do not tell anyone your passwords or the email associated with your account. Attackers can use any opportunity to take over account and wallets.
