Set administration options

To update the 1C configuration, the system will need information base administrator information - username and password.

Please note - these are not the same username and password that are used to receive updates!

Select a user from the drop-down list (necessarily with Administrator rights) and enter the password that he uses to authorize in the system.

Select the appropriate update installation option

To update the 1C:Accounting configuration, select installing the files right now or after the program finishes. The option to create a backup of the information base is also available.

Attention! If other users are working with this database, ask them to end the session - this is necessary to create a backup copy of the data. You can find out exactly who is connected to the database by clicking the “View list of active users” link.

Make an IB backup

We recommend taking advantage of this offer in order to return to the previous version of the program if the updates are incorrect. This is especially important to do when you plan to update non-standard configurations.

The rollback will be performed automatically, saving all data. Follow the link “Create an information security backup and perform a rollback in case of an emergency.”

Select "Back up and save to" specified directory" and specify the path to the directory, and then click "OK". The program will close and the update process will begin.

Wait for the update to complete

A warning window will appear on the screen indicating that a configuration update is in progress. This process consists of the following steps:

  • Closing user sessions;
  • Information security backup;
  • Copying update files to information security;
  • Configuration update;
  • Obtaining permission to connect.

After updating the 1C version 8 configuration, the program will open in user mode and the update will continue. The progress will be visible on the indicator.

Check that updates are installed correctly

Go to the “Administration” menu and select the “Support and Maintenance” sub-item. In the list of links with the general title “Updating the program version”, click on the line “Update results and additional data processing”.

Sometimes you need to enter the server cluster administrator login and password. Before starting the update, be sure to create a backup copy of the infobase. After clicking on the “Next” button, the assistant will begin to perform an interactive installation of the automated configuration update. This process can also take a long time. It all depends on the amount of data and the characteristics of the machine.

If we are dealing with a client-server system deployment option, then it is possible to set a delayed update. To do this, you need to specify the desired date and time to the update mechanism. But for this it is necessary that the computer’s power is turned on on the specified date and time.

Diagnosis of emergency situations

Records of all operations and errors that occur are automatically placed in the infobase registration log. During the installation of updates in the user's temporary folder, the system creates a log file that contains records of the progress of the update. Its contents then go into the registration log. The last directory, which looks like %temp%\1CUpdate., corresponds to the latest updated version. The update results are also recorded in the system event log. If you wish, update notification can be provided by email.

Implementation in configuration

A demo configuration of the mechanism exists as a delivery file. This allows you to supply any application configuration as support. This file can also be considered as a kind of “library”.

Checking and receiving updates occurs through interaction with the provider's website. Part of the site in open access gives you anonymous access to information about updates. But access to the products themselves often requires logging into the site. This is what the full path to the update file may look like, containing the open and closed parts of the site: http://downloads.v8.1c.ru/tmplts/1с/Accounting/2_0_32_6/1cv8.zip.

Update File Format

UpdInfo.txt- a file with information about the update. It contains the options described below.
  1. Version. Update version number.
  2. FromVersions. List of 1C versions that are affected by this update.
  3. Various parameters that are not used by the update mechanism.

So, to obtain and install updates via the Internet, follow these steps:

  • Place files on a web server. They should have a directory structure that corresponds to the templates directory, and the directory called 1c.ru is determined by the “open” part of the site. Also with the downloads directory, it corresponds to that part of the site that requires authorization. The web server was never included in the demo configuration, please note this. Next, in the module that is being redefined (named “Configuration Update”), specify the addresses of both parts of the site. Create an initial configuration delivery file of version 1.0.0.0 and add two incremental updates to it: 1.0.1.1 and 1.1.2.3.
  • Change the configuration version to 1.0.1.1 and create the delivery (cf) and update (cfu) files.
  • When creating the update file, specify the previous delivery file version 1.0.0.0.
  • Save the update file to the \downloads\tmplts\1c\AutoUpdate\1_0_1_1 directory.

Note: in order not to forget addresses, passwords and logins, create on your desktop Text Document containing this data. This will make it easier for you to manage the automatic update process. This will also significantly reduce the likelihood of an emergency situation occurring (some of these situations were described above).

How to implement the update?

To implement the 1C update, you need to perform a number of simple steps:

  1. provide preconditions under which it will be possible to fully implement the library into the configuration;
  2. transfer metadata objects from the required configuration;
  3. check the correct implementation.

To check the correctness in the file version, organize an update using .cf file, which is a copy of the saved configuration. In a client-server situation, update this file in two modes: right now and deferred mode.

The 1C company is constantly developing its software solutions. For each program, key updates are released at least once a month.

In order to find out what platform release and configuration you have (if you don’t know what a platform and configuration is, look at this video),

open the program in “Configurator” or “1C Enterprise” mode and in top menu click this sign here.

A window like this will open.

At the top we read the number of your platform release, just below the configuration number.

Number changes in last register Release numbers are not that important. Although, here we also need to make sure that there is not a big gap, especially in platform releases. You need to pay special attention to the following register. If it changes and you have discrepancies, you must update.

Updating the standard configuration 1s 8.2 or 8.3 very easy to produce. First we need an update file with the extension .cfu, you can get it legally from disk ITS, or by downloading from the site http://users.v8.1c.ru/. So, let's say we need to update the standard configuration Enterprise accounting since release 2.0.49.11 on 2.0.51.9 . Go straight to 51.9 it won't work, you'll have to install the release first 2.0.50.4 , so we download them both.

After downloading, unpack the file into a directory on disk and run setup.exe.

Once again, indicate the installation path (you can go to the same folder).

Now let's go to the configurator 1c Enterprises 8. Before installing the update, we need to make a backup copy of the database, which we can load if something goes wrong. Therefore, we expel all users from the database, go to Administration -> Upload information base, and indicate the path for unloading.

After backup copy ready, you can install the update. Let's go to Configuration -> Support -> Update configuration.

Specify the update file( 1cv8.cfu), in our example, you first need to install the release 2.0.50.4 , so let's go to the folder with it.

1C company very often releases various updates. They correct errors and add new functionality, new reporting is being finalized and added. The legislation of our country changes very often and must be followed. Even if you are happy with everything in your current configuration, refusing to update can lead to disastrous consequences.

For example, the government approved new uniform reporting, but you did not update the program and subsequently, at best, the regulatory authorities simply did not accept it from you. For more serious violations, you can receive a considerable fine, especially if the status of your company is a legal entity.

This article will discuss two ways to update the 1C 8.2 or 8.3 configuration: through the configurator and via the Internet.

Important! Before any update, always do ! Make this a rule! It’s better to spend a little time and make a copy than to look for ways to recover the data later! Moreover, it is advisable to do this by saving it to a directory. In case of failure, all data will be restored.

1C update via configurator

The first thing you need to do to update the configuration using this method is to download it from the site “users.v8.1c.ru”.

It is important to remember that if the configuration has not been updated for a long time, it is not always possible to immediately switch to its latest release. In this case, you will have to gradually update the configuration by installing several versions.

Unpack the archive with the downloaded update and run the installation file “setup.exe”. During installation, the program will select a default directory, but you can specify a different one.

Go to the database that needs to be updated in the “Configurator” mode. In the “Configuration” menu, select the “Support” submenu and in it the “Configuration Update” item.

In the form that opens, select the first source of configuration updates.

Check the boxes required folders, you can also add your own directory for search.

If suitable updates are found, a list of them will be displayed. It will stand out bold Last update of all those found. Select the one you need and click “Next”.

Wait a little, and a window will appear in front of you, which will show the differences between the current configuration and the update.

If you have a standard supplier configuration, then you do not need to change anything here. In the case where there were many modifications to the configuration, double-check everything carefully so as not to “overwrite” anything. Click on the "Run" button.

If any errors occurred during the update, the program will display their description in messages.

If everything was updated successfully, simply update the database configuration using the “F7” key.

When updating the configuration, make sure that the platform version you have installed is the recommended version for that configuration release. Often, along with a configuration update, you have to install a different version of the 1C platform.

Updating 1C via the Internet

Unlike the previous update method, in this case you do not need to open the configurator. All actions are performed in the "Enterprise" mode. In different configurations, the arrangement of elements in the menu may differ, but the essence is the same everywhere.

In the “Administration” menu, go to “Online user support”. In the form that opens, select “Program update”.

Also in this section You can configure it to automatically check for updates at startup or according to a schedule you specify. The remaining settings are more informative.

After the program checks for updates, it will give you the appropriate window. Make sure that the current user's directory (usually the C drive) has enough space to download the update.

In this case, the update was successfully found. We do not require a platform update. From this form we can proceed to a description of the changes in the update being installed. In the case when you already have the downloaded update file, you can install it by clicking on the appropriate hyperlink, but for the purposes of our example we will not do this.

After downloading, you will need to decide whether to update now or later. When you update the program, there should be no other users in it, as exclusive mode is required. The update may take quite a long time.

If any problems arise while downloading updates or installing them, the program will give you a corresponding message. Records of the update progress and associated errors will be available in the log. The names of the events are as follows: “Receiving program updates” and “Updating the information base”.
