Technical equipment, new technologies, subtle but not necessary interconnection of various elements - this is what modern progress has come to. We are, of course, talking about a computer, which has a lot of elements that require care and careful monitoring so that they work correctly and do not break. But not every one of us can do this, so we are faced with various problems that sometimes manifest themselves very strongly and cause a lot of inconvenience. We will mainly talk about technical problems that are difficult to diagnose, but it is quite possible to fix them yourself. And in this article we will look at where and why stripes appear on the monitor, which sometimes overshadow the entire picture on the screen. Fortunately, the problem is not always critical, so in most cases you can fix it yourself. And sometimes they indicate that the equipment has broken down and urgently needs to be replaced.

What is this problem?

Before you figure out where they came from on the monitor, it’s worth considering the problem itself, which in most cases is of a technical nature. Yes, a program failure, a virus and other problems, even an option related to drivers - none of this is the reason why defects appear on the monitor screen. This problem is a consequence of the negative influence of computer elements on the monitor or their improper interaction with each other. The problem is simple and critical, but this will become known only after a thorough diagnosis of the equipment. When this unpleasant situation occurs, various defective stripes begin to appear on the monitor, which bring with them a lot of trouble. Either they completely obscure the entire monitor, or they replace the colors, or the screen completely disintegrates into pixels.

Why does it occur?

If stripes appear on the monitor, this means that it is time to diagnose all equipment. You shouldn’t blame everything on the video card in advance, since it is not always the main cause of the problem. There may also be other parts of your equipment involved that may contribute to this defect. It is worth completely excluding options that relate to programs, driver failures, since image distortion, which is also filled with extra stripes, is guaranteed technical problem. Therefore, you can safely turn off your computer and start checking all your equipment for damage, dust, and much more.

Main causes of this problem

Vertical or horizontal stripes on the monitor may appear due to hardware failure or overheating. One should also take into account the incorrect interaction of various technical elements. In addition, do not forget that the source of the problem can be dust and contamination of the cables, which are the connecting connection between various elements. Therefore, in order to establish the true causes, you need to conduct a series of diagnostic studies that will identify the true problem, and only then think about ways that will help get rid of this unpleasant situation. And it’s worth remembering that you shouldn’t immediately run to the service center, since in most cases you can get out of this situation with your own efforts. Well, if a technical problem is classified as critical, then there are no options - you will have to find among your friends those who have experience in troubleshooting such problems.

Video card

Horizontal stripes on the monitor and in general any defects cannot be caused primarily by a faulty video card. It is necessary to check whether it is working normally, whether the cooler on it is dusty, which can cause overheating of the equipment, and whether it is connected to the motherboard correctly, that is, whether the wires are damaged. Yes, the video card is the image processing center which can cause the problem. Therefore, if you suddenly notice that the board itself is working normally, you should definitely clean it of dust using cotton swabs. Then check its connectors and try to clean them. After this, check the wires for physical damage. If it doesn't exist, that's good news; If the wires are damaged, then the equipment will need to be replaced.

If no problems are found and everything is cleaned, it is worth carrying out another check, which consists of examining the technical features of the video card. It sounds complicated, but in reality everything is simple: you need to check the equipment on another computer. A friend can help you with this: just insert the video card into his computer and check if there are stripes on his monitor. If there are no stripes, then the problem is different; if there is a defect, then the problem is in that graphics hardware. This means you should contact service or buy a new video card.

Monitor malfunction

When vertical stripes appear on your monitor, do not panic. Just start checking your equipment. And it’s worth noting right away that the option with a monitor is also appropriate, although this element is not programmable. Any physical impact on the monitor can cause a lot of problems regarding image deformation. You can also note factors such as exposure to sunlight and exposure to high humidity on the monitor. To test this device, you do not need any special education; you just need to test it on another computer. Take advantage of this opportunity from a friend. If after connecting the bars on the monitor disappear, then the problem is in your computer; if the opposite result occurs, then you need to contact a specialized service, since such a problem cannot be corrected with your own hands.

Checking loops

Stripes can also mean that you probably have problems in the connections of the elements themselves, which can sometimes be either physically damaged or simply dusty. To check them, you need to carefully examine every millimeter of the cable for physical damage. Are there blackheads there? Is the cable itself positioned correctly? Does it have unnecessary bends? Is everything connected correctly? If this is possible, then it is worth checking them on another computer. In fact, the problem of cables is quite complex, and not everyone can fully check these wires, therefore, in order to diagnose such a problem instantly, you must always have several spare cables on hand, which can be replaced if necessary. If, after using fresh wire options, stripes continue to appear on the monitor, then you should look for the source of the problem in other equipment. And if there is no problem, then you have already solved it and can continue to enjoy the opportunities virtual space. It is worth remembering this nuance, since not many people know that this can also be the cause of an unpleasant situation.

Cleaning your computer

Damage to internal elements

But do not forget about the possible breakdown of internal devices, which can also cause defects on the screen. These elements mainly include tracks and connecting elements on the motherboard. If you check them carefully, you will find that some of the strips have turned black and the resistors are swollen. It is this state of affairs that is the cause of the breakdown, which cannot be corrected by one’s own efforts. Therefore, if you find at least one element from the listed ones, then it is worth replacing motherboard, since repairing it will no longer be possible.

How to solve this problem?

Stripes appeared on the monitor. How to solve this problem? Actually, we have considered everything possible options solutions in this article, all of them are described above. First, you need to diagnose the equipment, clean the computer, since dust can cause overheating of important computer elements, and then draw conclusions and look for a way out of this unpleasant situation. A vertical stripe on the monitor or another graphic defect - all this is caused by the problems that we have discussed. As for the ways to eliminate them, we also examined them, in particular we mentioned the motherboard itself, which can serve as a source of negative impact. But, unfortunately, it is quite difficult to check it, so the only correct solution can only be to contact service center. Everything else can be checked and you can figure out what exactly is the reason for the defect appearing on the screen.

Service - guaranteed solution to the problem

Black line on the monitor, image disintegration into pixels different sizes, disappearing images, incorrect colors - all this and much more indicates that there are problems with your computer. This article allows you to fix them or diagnose them yourself. But it happens that your hands are simply afraid to touch anything there and generally disassemble the computer. It is in such cases, when you are not confident in your abilities, that a specialized service center will help you, where they will provide all the necessary services. For a fee, they will clean your computer and restore the normal image on the monitor. And if the breakdown is critical, then they will definitely tell you what exactly the problem is and how to fix it. Now it has become much easier to navigate this situation, which will undoubtedly serve as a positive new experience in terms of managing and monitoring computer technology.

Monitor – essential device for working with a computer, which allows you to see all the actions on the screen. Unfortunately, the monitor does not always please with its correct operation. Below we'll look at what causes vertical stripes to appear on your monitor, and whether there's anything you can do about it.
As a rule, suddenly appearing vertical stripes on the screen of users’ computers occur for two groups of reasons: software and hardware. In the first case, everything was to blame software installed on the computer, and in the second - problems with the monitor itself or its connection to the system unit.

A little advice: before you start moving on to ways to solve the problem, try connecting your monitor to another computer - this way you can understand whether the problem is the computer itself, or a malfunction in the monitor.

Software problems

Reason 1: missing video card drivers

If you just reinstalled Windows or updated your video card drivers, but then encountered vertical stripes on your monitor screen, you can assume there are problems with the drivers.

To solve this problem you will need to install fresh drivers video cards. First of all, open the menu "Control Panel" and go to the section "System".

In the left area of the window, click on the item "Device Manager".

Expand the tab "Video adapters". If next to it is the name “VGA adapter” or the name of your video card, but with a yellow exclamation mark, this indicates that the drivers are not working. If the drivers have been installed, click on the graphics adapter right click mouse and in the displayed context menu select item "Delete".

A confirmation window will appear on the screen, where you will need to check the box next to "Uninstall driver programs for this device".

Once the removal is completed successfully, you will need to restart your computer. From now on, you can start downloading and installing the latest version of video card drivers (if you have already Windows installations did not work with video card drivers, you will need to immediately proceed to download them, without the preliminary removal procedure described above).

You can download video card drivers from the official website of your manufacturer graphics adapter(specifically for your model). If you are the owner of a laptop, then download graphics drivers will be performed from the laptop manufacturer's website.

After downloading the required driver distribution, you will need to run it by installing it like any other program, and then be sure to restart the computer.

Reason 2: incorrect resolution settings

The problem with vertical stripes may arise because the computer settings are set to the wrong resolution.

To check this, right-click on any free area of the desktop and select the item from the context menu that appears. "Display Options".

Please note that further steps are discussed using Windows 10 as an example. If you have a different version operating system, then the name and location of the settings may be different.

In the settings window that appears, click the button "Advanced screen options".

Hardware problems

Reason 3: video card failure

If possible, connect your monitor to any other computer. If the vertical stripes have disappeared but you don't suspect software problems, we can assume that the problem lies in the video card, which could have failed.

Next, you will need to disconnect the video card from your computer, and then insert it into another computer that you are completely confident in its functionality. If the situation with the monitor is similar, you have once again confirmed your guess.

In this case, you will need to try to visually inspect the video card to see if it is covered in dust, and if the contacts are dirty. If the problem is in the contacts, clean them with an eraser and also get rid of all visible dirt. After this, the video card did not work? Then you will not be able to help it in any way: either contact a service center to have it repaired, or replace the video card.

Reason 4: Incorrect monitor connection

Check whether your monitor is connected to the computer correctly: the cable connecting the monitor must be fully plugged in on both sides. We recommend that you additionally use a different outlet for the monitor - it is quite possible that it simply does not have enough power.

If there is any type of damage on the connected cable, the cable must be replaced.

Reason 5: Motherboard failure

A sudden power surge, severe overheating, or a simple manufacturing defect can cause the motherboard to fail.

In this case, of course, if you connect the monitor to another computer, it will work fine. Except for problems with the video card, you should suspect the motherboard - and here everything is already sad, and you won’t be able to help it on your own; you will definitely need to contact a service center (and the sooner the better).

Reason 6: Monitor malfunction

If on other computers the monitor still produces the same reaction with vertical stripes, we can assume that the problem lies in the monitor itself.

Alternatively, try pressing top part monitor with your finger - if the stripes disappear, this may indicate that a cable is coming off the matrix body in the monitor (but this step may not work).

In this case, you will need to take the monitor itself directly to a service center, where they can more accurately diagnose and solve the cause of the problem, or try to disassemble it yourself (of course, if you have at least some experience). If the problem is insufficient contact of the cable with the matrix body, you will need to use something to seal the gasket at the exit point.

As a rule, these are the main reasons for the appearance of vertical stripes on the monitor.

User question

Hello!

Recently, stripes and ripples began to appear on my computer screen; the picture can sometimes twitch when passing a horizontal stripe.

This happens only in games. I tried reinstalling Windows, changing video drivers - no effect. These are artifacts on the video card (I was told so at the service center), and it needs to be changed. Or are there other options?

Good day!

In general, the presence of any distortion on the screen is a very alarming sign. Stripes and ripples can appear on the screen both due to problems with software and problems with hardware. In this article I will try to analyze the most basic things that you have to deal with, what can be done and taken to diagnose and find the cause (well, knowing the essence of the problem, you can often fix it on your own 😉).

Photo of a monitor with vertical (horizontal) stripes and ripples (as an example to understand what we are talking about)

What to do if ripples and stripes appear on the screen

STEP 1: check if the cable that connects the monitor to the computer is intact

The first thing I want to start with is the cable (perhaps this is somewhat banal, but still!). The fact is that it can be accidentally interrupted, chewed (by a pet, a cat, for example), etc.

And in general, many users do not always VGA cable(for example) fasten it with bolts so that it does not come off. Often, simply adjusting the plug will solve the problem.

The photo below shows a damaged USB cable (the video cable is also damaged) ...

I'll add a couple more notes (regarding wires):

  1. do not use long cables: if the length of your video cable is more than 3 meters, then the image on the screen may begin to distort (here, of course, a lot depends on the monitor);
  2. see if the video cable is intertwined with the cable of the printer, telephone charger, cable TV, etc. The fact is that such elements can create interference (especially in the absence of shielding). Try placing the video cable away from other wires.

STEP 2: Pay attention when artifacts appear

Immediately after turning on the computer, i.e. they are there when entering the BIOS (), and when loading the OS, and after it has loaded, in all applications and games;

They appear only at a certain stage: for example, when loading the OS, and then disappear. Either when entering specific game, or after some time spent in the game.

If in the first case, you can’t work on a PC at all and you need to eliminate the cause (you can ruin your eyesight), then in the second, for example, you can continue to work for quite a long time.

By the way, a simple observation like this will help determine the cause of the malfunction. For example, if you experience artifacts in only one game, then most likely the problem lies in the temperature, driver, or errors in the game itself.

I will also note that in the second case, the chances of restoring the PC/laptop (without material costs) are much greater!

STEP 3: Connect another monitor for diagnostics

This step is very important!

It will allow us to determine whether the artifact problem is related to a malfunction of the monitor, or to problems in the system unit (video card, motherboard).

Surely in every house where there is a PC, there is a TV, or another screen of some kind ✌. For example, if stripes appear on your laptop screen, connect it to a regular monitor and see if there are any distortions in the picture. Nowadays, any modern monitor can be easily and quickly connected to a computer using an HDMI cable (sold in almost every computer store).

In the photo below: a TV was connected to the laptop in order to see if there would be artifacts on the TV screen.

If there are no artifacts on the other screen and everything is fine: Then the problem is with the monitor. By the way, the problem of horizontal stripes appearing on CRT monitors used to arise quite often. In general, if the monitor itself is to blame for the streaks on the screen, then without having experience in repairing equipment, you cannot do without it.

If artifacts are present on another monitor: then the problem is probably in your computer: the problem is either with the software or with the hardware. We'll figure it out further...

STEP 4: Check the temperature of components (video card, CPU)

If there are stripes on the screen, first of all you need to look at the temperature of the video card. This can be done using special. utilities: .

An example in the screenshot below. We check the temperature in the GPU-Z utility (see the line "GPU Temperature").

In general, it is difficult to give an exact value critical temperature of the video card : here you need to look at your specific model(use your manufacturer's website). But in general, everything above 80 gr. Celsius - should alert you to a thorough check.

To help!

How to find out the permissible and critical temperature of your video card:

If overheating is suspected, it is recommended first clean your computer from dust , replace thermal paste. Dust often blocks ventilation openings, reducing air circulation. As a result, the temperature inside system unit(laptop) starts to grow.

In laptops, by the way, it is easy to determine overheating if you put your hand near the ventilation holes (usually they are on the left): very hot air starts coming out of there, you can even get burned.

By the way, these utilities can measure the temperature during your game, tracking all the maximums and minimums. As soon as you notice the appearance artifacts– check what the temperature was.

To help!

1) Checking the video card for performance, testing for reliability and stability -

2) How to perform a stress test of the processor and the system as a whole, does it maintain frequencies, is there any overheating -

At all, pay special attention to temperature in hot summer months, when PC components often heat up to significant levels. To reduce the temperature in the system unit, simply remove the side cover and place a regular fan opposite.

There is a special one for laptops. stands that help improve air circulation (due to which it is possible to reduce the temperature by 5-10 degrees Celsius).

STEP 5: check and update your video card drivers

Drivers are everything...

Video card drivers can have a significant impact on picture quality (especially for 3D games).

For example, about 15 years ago I had several versions of drivers (official and not) for my Ati Radeon 8200 video card (if I’m not mistaken).

So, on the official drivers, on the latest version, there was a glitch: some elements in the games (in particular fire) were not shown - instead of them there were some squares, sometimes stripes... When I switched to a different version of the drivers, everything worked as expected. Over time, the developers fixed this bug...

By the way, pay attention to how the computer will work when you remove the drivers: will there be stripes or ripples. Below is a link to an article that will help you remove and update drivers.

STEP 6: a few words about overclocking your video card

If you overclocked your video card, then it is likely that artifacts could appear (especially if you have never done this before and practical experience no 👀).

Overclocking, in fact, is a whole science where you need to know and feel quite accurately how the hardware will behave (and, of course, there is always a certain risk).

Try resetting the frequencies and checking functionality. As a rule, if the problem was related to unsuccessful overclocking, it is solved.

Screenshot from the game Doom 3: pay attention to the white dots - the result of unsuccessful overclocking

In general, in most cases, if software overclocking fails, modern video cards, processors and memory themselves reset the settings to safe ones.

STEP 7: Check if the desired shader version is supported

Each video card supports a certain version of shaders (and games, by the way, also require a certain version, see the description for any game).

The point is: if you are trying to run a new game on a video card that is not new, it is quite possible that it does not support the necessary pixel shaders.

In general, usually, in this case, Windows will tell you that the game cannot be launched and an error will appear. But sometimes this doesn’t happen, and the game starts with distortions in the picture (especially now there are special shader emulators that allow you to run games on video cards that are not approved by the developers).

So if you have a problem in any one game, check : whether your video card model is included in the list of those supported by the game.

How to find out the amount of memory of a video card, its type and other characteristics -

STEP 8: what else to pay attention to (hardware malfunction: video card, motherboard)

As a rule, when there are problems with hardware, artifacts appear everywhere: in the BIOS, when booting Windows, in games, in any other programs. In some cases, artifacts appear when the video card is heated to certain temperatures (for example, in games), etc. Most often, the reason lies in the detachment of the graphics chip, or overheating of the memory chips.

You can try the following: open the system unit, remove the video card and inspect it. Is there any visible damage on it? Most likely, there will be no visual signs of failure on it (statistics from personal experience).

However, if there is a lot of dust and high temperature readings in AIDA, Speccy, I recommend this:

1) First: clean the system unit from dust (can be blown out with a regular vacuum cleaner). .

2) Pay special attention to the video card contacts. Try cleaning its contacts with a regular eraser (clean the part that is inserted into the motherboard). Then blow through the entrance itself where it is inserted. With artifacts this method helps, but not in all cases.

3) If the artifacts are not missing, it would be a good idea to check the video adapter on another work computer (however, I understand that this advice is unlikely to suit ordinary users; not everyone has 2 PCs at home...).

The photo below shows what normal capacitors look like (red arrows) and a swollen one (circled).

The motherboard/video card could also fail for reasons beyond your control. (i.e. without overclocking). For example, there was a power outage, a manufacturing defect, overheating, etc.

In general, for problems with iron (and lack of repair experience), it is better to contact the service center.

However, I want to warn you right away:

1. Some craftsmen may offer to repair and replace the chip on the video card. It is expensive (almost like a new video card), and it is unknown how the repair will be carried out, and how the video card will behave later. In general, I do not recommend it;

2. They may suggest warming up the video card (sometimes called hot). This topic is specific and extensive. But I want to say right away that such a repaired video card (at best) will not work for long, at most another six months. Then it still comes to an end...

The most preferable option for these problems is to replace the video card with a new one. In the end, it's cheaper for the wallet... 👌

By the way, I want to give a couple of links to do-it-yourself repair video cards:

– is it possible to repair a video card in the oven;

Hello.

While many errors and problems on the computer can be tolerated, defects on the screen (the same stripes as in the picture on the left) cannot be tolerated! Not only do they interfere with your view, but they can also damage your eyesight if you work on such an image on the screen for a long time.

Stripes may appear on the screen due to various reasons, but most often they are associated with problems with the video card (many say that artifacts appeared on the video card...).

Artifacts mean any distortion of the image on a PC monitor. Most often, they appear as ripples, color distortion, stripes with squares across the entire area of the monitor. So what to do with them?

Right away I want to make a small disclaimer. Many people confuse artifacts on a video card with dead pixels on the monitor (a clear difference is demonstrated in Fig. 1).

A dead pixel is a white dot on the screen that does not change color when the picture on the screen changes. Therefore, it is quite easy to detect by filling the screen with different colors one by one.

Artifacts are distortions on the monitor screen that are not related to problems with the monitor itself. It’s just that the video card sends such a distorted signal to it (this happens for many reasons).

There are software artifacts (related to drivers, for example) and hardware artifacts (related to the hardware itself).

Software artifacts

As a rule, they appear when launching some 3D games or applications. If you experience artifacts when loading Windows (also in), most likely you are dealing with hardware artifacts (about them later in the article).

There are a lot of reasons for the appearance of artifacts in the game, but I will analyze the most popular ones.

1) Firstly, I recommend checking video card temperature at work. The thing is that if the temperature has reached critical values, then everything is possible, from distortion of the picture on the screen to failure of the device.

You can read about how to find out the temperature of a video card in my previous article:

If the temperature of the video card exceeds the norm, I recommend cleaning the computer from dust (and paying special attention to the video card when cleaning). Also pay attention to the operation of the coolers; perhaps one of them is not working (or is clogged with dust and does not spin).

Overheating most often occurs in hot summer months. To reduce the temperature of the system unit components, it is even recommended to open the unit cover and place a regular fan opposite it. This primitive method will help to significantly reduce the temperature inside the system unit.

How to clean your computer from dust:

2) The second reason (and quite common) is drivers for video card. I would like to note that neither new nor old drivers provide a guarantee of good performance. Therefore, I recommend updating the driver first, and then (if the picture is just as bad) rolling back the driver or installing an even older one.

Sometimes using “old” drivers is more justified, and for example, they more than once helped me enjoy a game that refused to work normally with new versions of drivers.

How to update drivers with just 1 click:

3) Update DirectX and .NetFrameWork. There is nothing special to comment here, I will give a couple of links to my previous articles:

4) Lack of shader support will almost certainly result in artifacts on the screen ( shaders- these are a kind of scripts for a video card that allow you to implement various special functions. effects in games: dust, ripples on the water, particles of dirt, etc., everything that makes the game so realistic).

Usually, if you try to run a new game on an old video card, you get an error saying that it is not supported. But sometimes this does not happen, and the game runs on a video card that does not support the required shaders (there are also special shader emulators that help run new games on old PCs).

In this case, you just need to carefully study system requirements games, and if your video card is too old (and weak), then, as a rule, you won’t be able to do anything (except overclocking...).

5) At overclocking a video card Artifacts may appear. In this case, reset the frequencies and return everything to the initial state. In general, overclocking is a rather complicated topic and if not handled correctly, you can easily damage the device.

6) A glitchy game can also cause image distortion on the screen. You can usually find out about this by looking at various player communities (forums, blogs, etc.). If there is such a problem, then you are not the only one who will encounter it. Surely, they will also suggest a solution to this problem (if there is one...).

And hardware artifacts

In addition to software artifacts, there may also be hardware artifacts, the cause of which is poorly functioning hardware. As a rule, you will have to observe them absolutely everywhere you are: in the BIOS, on the desktop, when loading Windows, in games, any 2D and 3D applications, etc. The reason for this, most often, is the detachment of the graphics chip; less often, there are problems with overheating of the memory chips.

For hardware artifacts, you can do the following:

1) Replace chip on video card. Expensive (relative to the cost of the video card), it’s tedious to look for an office that will carry out repairs, it takes a long time to search for the right chip, and other problems. It is still unknown how this repair will be carried out for you...

2) Trying on your own warm up the video card. This topic is quite extensive. But I will say right away that such a repair, even if it helps, will not help for long: the video card will work from a week to six months (sometimes up to a year). You can read about warming up the video card from this author: http://my-mods.net/archives/1387

3) Replacing the video card with a new one. The fastest and simplest option, which sooner or later everyone comes to when artifacts appear...

That's all for me. Good PC work to everyone and fewer errors :)

The problem is easily solved. The asking price is 50 rubles or tens of times more. But I advise the “masters” to give money LAST.

Let's talk about stripes on the monitor screen; what to do if vertical or horizontal lines suddenly appear on it? Some individuals advise immediately running to the “masters”. They say the problem is complex, and any intervention will only make it worse. Moreover, the price of such a service is about 1000 rubles. But why pay!? Let's solve the problem ourselves!

To start the reason should be determined streaks appearing on the computer screen.

Alas, but the chance of a software error is MI-NI-MA-LEN. It's a matter of hardware. So check:

A) Are hdmi and other cables connected well? Are they damaged?

I recommend unscrewing everything and blowing it out (even when you are sure that everything is in order). Also make sure that there are no serious deformations on the blue cable (which leads to the monitor). They could very well be the culprit behind the irritating stripes.

B) The video card is damaged due to overheating.

Naturally, you won’t see this visually. There are practically no swellings or other visual signs of damage on it. Indirectly, this can be indicated by a dust-clogged cooling system and Aida temperature readings.

There are two things you can do here:

1. Remove the video card, clean its contacts (especially the part with which it is inserted into the motherboard). It’s extremely rare, but it helps, I’m serious: the chances are slim.

2. check it on another, 100% working computer.

But there may be problems with either of them, the third reason is:

B) Motherboard malfunction.

Stripes on the monitor screen may be due to this. Whether the voltage jumped, whether there was overheating or a manufacturing defect is not so important. The fact is that this happens everywhere. In addition, if upon inspection (there is no need to remove it from the system unit) swelling of the condensers (such barrels) or their “blackening” are visible, then with 90% chance you have found the reason for your misfortune.

A faulty matrix is the cause of streaks on the screen.

This is sadness. You can't fix it yourself. Unless to carry out diagnostics - connect the monitor to a laptop or other PC. The stripes remain - take the monitor to the service center. I’ll also tell you one “interesting” method.

At your own risk: lightly press (as if you were gently massaging the body) on the monitor that is turned on, preferably in the area of the stripes. Now watch out: if the location of the stripes changes, the reason is in the monitor matrix or HDMI cable.

Stripes on the laptop screen.

Do the lines/ripples change their location when the laptop is opened or closed? Move it back and forth at different speeds. Are you seeing the above? The matrix cable is faulty.
