The “You have been called” function is a paid option, thanks to which the subscriber’s phone receives notifications about attempts to reach him while the device was turned off or the person was in a place where there was no connection. As soon as the connection becomes available again, SMS and information about calls will be sent to your phone.

You will receive the same number of notifications as the numbers you tried to call. If the same user called 34 times, you will receive only one SMS in the following form: Number XXX called you 34 times. Last 10/11/2017 at 10:35.

The notification will indicate the number of calls that have been made since the last time the phone was turned on or per day, depending on which period is shorter. The function works on all tariff plans for both individuals and corporate clients.

Option options

Thanks to the “You Got a Call” function, MTS customers don’t have to worry about missing a call because the phone is turned off. Also, the cellular operator sends information about calls at a time when the user was out of network coverage. Even if you don’t notice how you entered and exited the area with bad connection, SMS about missed calls will come in any case.

If while mobile device could not receive calls, no one tried to get through, there would be no information messages.

The “You have been called” option works in conjunction with the “I’m in touch” service, but in different directions. “You got a call” works on phone A, which received calls, “I’m in touch” - on phone B, which made calls. While phone A receives information messages about attempts to dial, phone B receives an SMS indicating that the desired subscriber has appeared on the network and can be reached.

“I'm in touch” has been a basic service for all subscribers since 2014, but it is possible to turn off notifications by requesting *111*334#.

Price

"They called you" - payable service, however, some tariffs do not pay for its use. The list of tariff plans for which there is no subscription fee changes periodically. Today, the list of “beneficiaries” includes clients with:

  • "MTS-Connectom";
  • "Online";
  • "Smart home";
  • "Smart device";
  • Lines “Unified”;
  • Lines "Telematics";
  • Lines "Business class";
  • Lines "Business Federation".

The cost for using the service changes periodically, so until mid-2016 the daily subscription fee was 90 kopecks, today 1 ruble 20 kopecks is debited from the phone every day.

If there are insufficient funds on the balance to pay for the service, they will be withdrawn after the account is topped up. The service operates in national and international roaming. There is no charge for connecting or disconnecting the service.

How to connect?

For most new subscribers, the option is already included in the tariff initially, and therefore does not require independent activation. However, if for some reason it was not among the standard set of services or it was disabled independently, it can be returned in several ways:

  • Through your personal account on the website or in the My MTS application. You need to log in to your personal account, then select the “Service Management” section, and then find the “You have been called” option and click the “Connect” button or check the box.

The “You have been called” service does not work if the phone was turned on and online, but the subscriber was talking. For such purposes, there is another option “Call Waiting”. If calls were made from hidden number, in the SMS all its numbers will be changed to the symbol X. The sender will indicate "Unidentified number".

Over the past few months, MTS has been testing the possibility of sending advertising messages through the “You got a call” option. This means that, along with information on missed calls, the SMS text will contain a short advertisement for other company services. IN this moment This solution applies only to some subscribers. The advertising add-on can be disabled using the command *111*374#. After disabling, SMS about missed calls will only be sent with the number and time of calls.
