Thus, to enter the menu you will need to dial *3001#12345# In this mode, for example , you can change the network operator name displayed in standby mode. To do this, select NAM1, scroll to the Alpha Tag sub-item, change it as desired (for example, write Vovochka and press OK. Exit the mode by turning the phone off and on.
It is possible that this code will also work on other phone models (51xx, 61xx).

*#0000#—birthday and phone software version

*#92702689# - some kind of *broken menu - I don’t know why
*#3370# and *#3370* - on and off call quality - something like that, but not all operators support this crap. Nokia itself was re-flashed v 5.79

In addition to the above, there are a couple more SERVICE CODE
1) *#639#(*#NEW#) is used to add a number, i.e. you can register several telephone numbers, and switch between them.

3) Date of reprogramming
4) Date of last repair.
5) Includes data transfer
6) Total talk time.

THINK WELL IF YOU CAN RETURN EVERYTHING IN PLACE LATER
ESPECIALLY IN POINT 1
It is not possible to change the operator name on all NOKIA models; in the latest models, this feature is blocked by the manufacturer.
the only (almost) plus of this code service *#3001#12345# is the ability to recover a “FOGOTTEN” password to turn on your mobile phone.
And the second plus is that the level of the received signal is visible.

*#7780# - restore original (working) smart settings
*#7370# - reset the smart to factory settings (i.e. all software, contacts, calendar, etc. are deleted - the smart becomes clean!)
ATTENTION! To use the last two codes you will need to enter the phone lock code (default 12345)!
Safe Mode when you turn on the phone - “PENCIL” + “Power Buttion”
Loading into Safe:
1. Turn off your phone
2. Press "PENCIL" (and DO NOT release)
3. Press the power button
4. Hold the “PENCIL” until it is FULLY loaded!!!
*#2820# - unique address of the Bluetooth module of your device (may be needed by other devices that cannot display names).
*#7370925538# - clearing the “Wallet” (for 6600 and higher - which have a “Wallet”).
*3370# (phone must reboot) improves sound quality (using EFR), but reduces battery life.
#3370# - resets the sound quality to normal (cancels the *3370# code).
EFR CODEC (Enhanced Full Rate)
This function when enabled, in theory, it should significantly improve the quality of transmitted speech, but, unfortunately, it must be supported by the operator cellular communications. When it works, the phone's power consumption during talk time increases slightly (about 5%). As far as we know, none of the Russian mobile operators support this function. The principle is based on a different speech compression algorithm (ACELP) and occupies a wider frequency band.
*4720# - enable Half Rate Codec (HFR)
#4720# - disable Half Rate Codec (HFR)
HR CODEC (Half Rate)
Significantly degrades speech quality, but saves battery by about 30%. Again, must be supported mobile operator.

Codes for determining whether LOC is installed on the device or not
Your Nokia can be blocked by 4 types of locks:
SPROVIDER-LOCK - 1
NETWORK-LOCK - 2
COUNTRY-LOCK - 3
SIMCARD-LOCK - 4

To check the status of these locks, enter the following line:
#pw+(MASTERCODE)+(y)#, where
- p = press * 3 times
- w = press * 4 times (in the original, on the contrary, w - 3 times, p - 4)
- + = press * 2 times
- MASTERCODE = exactly the thing that was used to lock your device. But to check the status, enter 1234567890
- y = number from 1 to 4

If your phone is locked by an SP (Service Provider) code that is unknown, then try the following:

1. The Pin code request must be enabled;
2. turn on the phone;
3. When asked for a Pin code, press C, then the up or down arrow;
4. press C and hold until the display clears;
5. Now enter the command to change the Pin code, but without changing it;
**04*Pin*Pin*Pin#
This operation must be repeated every time the device is turned on.

Half Rate Codec:
Inclusion:
*4720# - Half Rate will be activated after the phone is overloaded (power consumption is reduced)
Shutdown:
#4720# - Half Rate will be turned off after the phone is overloaded
Enhanced Full Rate mode allows you to get much more best quality sound with the same number of bits of transmitted information, but loads your provider’s network more, the duration of the call time is reduced by about 5%

Half Rate mode degrades sound quality, but unloads the network and allows the provider to pass more calls through it, while the call time increases by about 30%

Security code Information in IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) contains:

XXXXXX XX XXXXXX X
TAC FAC SNR SP

TAC = Type Approval Code (first 2 digits = country code).
FAC = Final Assembly Code (For Nokia FAC=10).

Questions about Nokia 2720 fold secret codes

Ask a question about secret codes for Nokia 2720 fold

Nokia 2720 Fold is the largest manufacturer mobile phones in the world. If you look at it from the outside, you will think that the phone looks very decent, the smooth, glossy plastic invites you to touch this beautiful creation and feel its magic. But when you take it in your hands... No, you will not be disappointed, this case is really made to perfection, it seems to me that the sorcerers from Nokia would not even think of deceiving their beloved fans, the internal functions are slightly reduced in comparison with their expensive brothers, but this applies only to the external design and mostly minor details. I’ll tell you that you won’t notice this after you once again remember that you paid half as much as the closest analogue. And you will remember more than once kind words its creators, when you put your brand new phone in your pocket, because there is nothing more compact than a clamshell case, remember this once and for all. Maybe in the future with the advent flexible phones The situation will change, but for now this is a fact. Judging by the release date, which is May 2009, you can immediately say that you spent your money well.

Folding phones have always had more sophisticated features compared to regular budget phones, and this phone is no exception. Let's start with the fact that the Nokia 2720 Fold has a pretty decent display - TFT color, 65.54 thousand colors with a resolution of 128x160 pixels is quite enough for this phone, not bright and small, the golden mean. Like all phones of this type, it has an additional, external 128x160 pixel display. This is the same resolution and picture quality as the main one. This is a very good indicator of quality. It's a pity that there is no memory card, it wouldn't have a price. Of course, it won’t be possible without a camera, 1.30 million pixels, 1280x1024 pixels. There is also a video recording function, but the quality is quite poor, so we will not take this function into account. The weight was balanced on the verge of medium weights, 90 grams almost exceeded the limit, but considering the presence of two displays, this does not seem terrible. The size, as expected for clamshells, is quite compact 4.6x9.3x1.8 cm. The battery will definitely never let you down, there can be no mistake here, an impressive 860 mAh will keep the battery charged for a long time. Internet access is provided by WAP 2.0, GPRS, EDGE protocols, so you definitely won’t be left without a connection. And who said that folding beds are only for women? Such a copy will look confident in a man’s hand; this is an excellent chance to buy Nokia and be in an advantageous position.

You can buy the Nokia 2720 Fold phone at a low price on our website.

The clamshell form factor is not often found among the models of the Finnish concern. Nevertheless, Nokia phones of this design have a number of recognizable features - for example, the maximum opening angle at which the location of the display and keyboard is almost identical to that of all-in-one PCs.

Nokia 2720 fold reminds us of the 6600 fold model we have already reviewed, but the clamshells are only similar in appearance. From a functional point of view, the 2720 is budget model and has limited capabilities.

Appearance

The model leaves the impression of a more expensive device than it actually costs. Both panels are made of black glossy plastic. If you save appearance ok, make sure there are no scratches and fingerprints (which will not be so easy), the phone will look impressive. The ends of the phone, probably for practicality reasons, are made of ordinary plastic. Thanks to this, holding the device in your hand is comfortable.

The bottom end of the phone (when viewed when closed) is rounded, while the edge of the top is a straight line. When opened, the edges of the halves merge rather than overlap each other, creating the appearance of a solid body.

When opened, the phone does not look as attractive as when folded. The design of the panel is quite simple and at the same time not devoid of attractiveness. The screen area and the Navi block have a frame made of black plastic; it visually unites the halves of the body and also contrasts well with the main silver color of the plastic.

The case is assembled with high quality, the halves do not “move” relative to each other, both in the closed and open states. The hinge that connects the body halves protrudes slightly above the panels.

The number of connectors is small. On the left side there is an input for connecting a headset, on the right side - for connecting to a charger. Just below the latter there is a volume rocker. Both connectors are covered with plastic plugs.

Keyboard

The keys have a large physical size, making them comfortable to press. The digital block is made to look like metal, the visual dividers are designed in the form of silver inserts.

The number of elements of the Navi block is minimal - these are “telephone” and soft keys, as well as a four-way button with a confirmation key inscribed in the center; in input mode, the role of the character delete key is played by the right soft key. Holding the star button starts the FM radio.

Display

The external display left a pleasant impression. It is monochrome, the displayed characters have a white backlight. The brightness of the additional screen may seem insufficient, but in fact this is not the case - information is well perceived both indoors and outdoors.

The external display displays data such as time, operator name, signal reception level and battery charge. Since there are few elements, each of them is drawn large, there are no problems with the perception of information due to small font.

While the additional display pleasantly surprised us with its readability, the main display, on the contrary, disappointed us. Its resolution is 128x160 pixels, and the external display has a similar value. The quality of the matrix corresponds to the budget class. The displayed colors look unnatural and the pixels are visible when viewed closely. Unfortunately, the matrix update speed is also not high. It’s difficult to call the display offered in the model pleasant to use; however, the phone does not have the functionality that would require frequent use of the display.

Interface, functionality

The software platform for the phone is Series 40, but due to the small display, not all of its capabilities are implemented. For example, by default, the standby mode displays a large digital clock and date, rather than a shortcut panel, as in more expensive models. Fast access the most frequently used functions are accessed through the “Active” tab, which is launched by pressing the left soft key.

However, some minor changes in the interface make it feel like the platform has one of the newest editions. The status indicators located at the top of the display are slightly larger (this has already been seen in the Nokia 6700). The main menu, represented by a 3x3 matrix of icons, can be arranged.

The phone has very little built-in memory, about 10 MB. Support for memory cards is not provided, so take this specific model Not worth it as a device for storing and using multimedia files.

However, “Gallery” and “Multimedia” remained unchanged menu items. In the first of the listed sections, the files on the phone are sorted into groups - photos, videos, audio files. Objects received via Bluetooth, regardless of their extension, are initially saved in the “Received files” folder (in the original - “Prn files”).

The “Multimedia” item contains links to the corresponding utilities presented in the model. These include a camera, music player and radio. Objectively, only the latter feature can actually be useful if you use the phone every day.

The camera has a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, which is quite small. The quality of photographs, even at maximum resolution, is not enough for normal display on computer monitors. Due to the lack of autofocus and low resolution, objects are blurry, even in natural lighting conditions.

As already mentioned, the phone has Bluetooth module, which is a nice addition to its modest functionality. The device maintains a stable connection established via a wireless channel, the data transfer rate is at the level of 120 Kbps.

The phone supports the JAVA platform. Interestingly, Opera Mini is offered as the default browser. The speed of working with JAVA utilities is low, the device has a habit of “thinking” before opening the selected application.

Battery

Simple functionality allows you not to worry about time battery life. Typically, your phone needs to be connected to a charger every 3-4 days.

Conclusion

The phone is difficult to evaluate unambiguously; it simultaneously contains tangible pros and cons. The disadvantages of the model include a low-quality display and significantly reduced functionality. However, the low price largely justifies weak sides device, makes some claims unfounded. Among the advantages of the phone, in addition to its affordable price, are its attractive appearance, practical external screen and long battery life.

We thank the storeBy-mobile for the phone number provided for testing

What I didn't like

quality!!! The material is similar to children's plastic phones! It didn’t last me a year, at first it started to play a little, and at one point, when opening it, the lid just fell off)) it was a complete surprise, frankly speaking)) Since I had to leave urgently, I connected the contacts and put it on super-glue))) but two weeks later it happened again, and then nothing saved the phone. It's a shame, I liked him.

What I liked

Beautiful! convenient, functional - pleasant little things like the fact that the name of the subscriber who wrote the SMS is displayed, etc. If you carry it in a case - and that’s what I did, it doesn’t get dirty, I fell on the asphalt several times - only a couple of scratches appeared on the back panel, well, I was lucky, I think)) The front screen is convenient, and it looks very interesting.

What I didn't like

Glossy. All. After a month of use, the case was severely scratched and the screen was damaged. Plus it gets very dirty.
-little memory, you can’t insert a card.
-you can set only one alarm clock in the organizer. Personally, I need 2 at least.
- the case is quite fragile, and the design is strange; for a long time I could not understand where the front was and where the back was.
- the phone “bites” - it can pinch the skin on your hand.

What I liked

Convenient buttons - you can hear your interlocutor well.

What I didn't like

Very small memory 9 MB (even less is available) and there is no slot for additional memory. The camera and video camera are so-so. There is no Flash player support.

What I liked

Knows how to make calls :) . Convenient to use.

What I didn't like

There is no slot for a memory card, which is a must for a phone like this.
I didn’t notice any more shortcomings

What I liked

Very beautiful, comfortable and inexpensive

What I didn't like

Memory - zero! You can’t even download 3 melodies, so why is there a player there? Play between panels. On the first day, the sound disappeared in normal mode (you need to reflash it). There's no need for a camera here at all; there's even nowhere to store photos. Moreover, the pictures are of low quality.

What I liked

Beautiful design in expanded form, convenient buttons.

What I didn't like

Large keyboard (in my opinion, too much), little memory, you can’t insert a flash drive, it’s stupid for a very long time, often if it falls, the whole thing crumbles...small display, image quality is poor, not easy to use, I’ve been using it for 1 year, but in the first days it It started to piss me off so much that I wanted to smash it with a hammer.

What I liked

2 screens, and beautiful in appearance.

What I didn't like

There is no normal photo ID, I can’t see without glasses and when a call comes there is no way to see who is calling. I had a Siemens so there was a full-screen photodetector. Poor keyboard backlight. The shape of the phone is bad; when you open it, you always confuse the front with the back. No memory.

What I liked

I didn’t find any special advantages, except for the large keyboard

What I liked

Beautiful appearance when folded

What I didn't like

The phone is very slow, in order to exit some mode (camera, SMS, applications, just navigating through notebook) the phone takes a few seconds 3-5, which is very annoying. It is inconvenient to take pictures with the camera; for some reason it is covered with your finger - an unusual placement. When you pick it up, the phone rings for a few more seconds, most likely because it slows down, although the memory is not even half full. I think another drawback is that the clock is not always displayed on the external display; it is in standby mode. Another drawback is the very weak white backlighting of the keys, which is very inconvenient in daylight and artificial light; it is almost impossible to type SMS unless you know the location of the letters by heart, you need to look closely. In general, I didn’t expect this from Nokia, perhaps I got a defective phone, although I very much doubt it, I bought it in a decent store.

What I liked

Beautiful view, Nice colour, looks like an expensive, almost business-class phone, comfortable keys and joystick, loud speakers and large font, both on the keyboard and on the display, which is very convenient for people with poor eyesight or the elderly.

What I didn't like

I've been using the phone for about 1.5 years and everything is fine. After 8 months of operation, the opening mechanism on the right side of the phone broke, this is sad, although the assembly is Romanian. My battery no longer holds if I sit in ICQ for 4 hours at most. camera hmm, not very good(((When installing non-standard ones, the picture hangs a little when opening the flip.

What I liked

The phone is very nice. Glossy plastic is absolutely gorgeous. Two displays are also very good, everything is very well done. The train is very excellent and lasts for a long time, has never been repaired

What I didn't like

no flash drive
problems with the radio (not only I have the same problems, my friend) if you turn on the radio, they won’t call you. Then it starts to glitch terribly. The radio freezes every 25-30 minutes. Moreover, it is impossible to reboot in any way except by removing the battery; at the same time, the time and date settings are lost (even if you take it out for a minute) - this is another minus. and if you wait until it stops glitching, then even if you turn off the radio, no one will still call. However, if you try to turn the phone on and off, the phone does not turn on. (You have to remove the battery again)

What I liked

convenient if you don’t need anything other than calling and texting. I like

What I didn't like

The whole phone is a complete misunderstanding, it’s not even worth the 3,100 rubles.

What I liked

Color(ed), large buttons, loud bell

What I didn't like

The disadvantages of the phone are a continuation of the advantages.
1. Slippery - due to the fact that it is completely glossy. It tries to fall out of your hand. He fell more than once. Do not take it with greasy hands under any circumstances.
2. The buttons are large, but too “soft”. This is especially noticeable when typing SMS: you write in T9, and then you discover that you missed letters in half the words :).
3. Weak interface. It’s very annoying that in the book, when you type a name in the search, there are only the AVB and ABC formats, but there is no AbB format, i.e. To search by 2 or more letters, you need to switch the format. Groups have only 10 names, but this a common problem noky.

What I liked

1. Design. Black and completely glossy, it looks more expensive than its price, it’s not a shame to get it at work.2. External screen. Large and comfortable. Shows the time when you press the side buttons (no need to open the lid). 3. Big buttons. You won't miss it :).

What I didn't like

1. Without a protective film, it gets scratched quickly. 2. It immediately gets dirty when touched. 3.The screen is too small. 4.Poor photo quality, very poor, with its 1.3mp camera. 5.The alarm clock also works when the phone is turned off. 6.No memory card slot. 7. There is not enough memory on the phone. 8. The radio reception is not very good. 9.When I turned it on, I was stupid a couple of times. 10.The back panel is loose

What I liked

1.Externally very beautiful. 2.Headphone jacks and Charger different. 3. Convenient and easy menu. 4. Holds the battery well. 5.Speaker on the front cover (for a clamshell this is a +) 6.No dirt gets clogged under the buttons.

What I didn't like

1). Terrible display
2). No letter E when typing
3). Not designed for fast work(menus are not well thought out, overloaded, unnecessary animation, etc.)
4). The back cover is a little loose
5). Bad color for button illumination
6). Low memory

What I liked

1). Cheap 2). Stylish 3). All java applications work 4). Good sound from the speaker for the budget model 5). Long battery life 6). Availability of adequate Bluetooth

What I didn't like

STILL THE SAME big minus - when you remove the battery, the time and settings are lost. Also, it’s absolutely pointless to put a photo on a contact, since when you call, it’s smaller than the nail on your little finger.
