Type

Deciding on the type of device (phone or smartphone?) is quite simple. If you need a simple and inexpensive device for calls and SMS, it is recommended to select the phone. A smartphone is more expensive, but it offers a wide variety of options: games, videos, the Internet, thousands of programs for all occasions. However, its battery life is significantly less than that of a regular phone.

    Pleasant back cover. It bends well. What prevented you from raising the sides with mounds above the screen, so that in case of a fall the blow would not fall on the glass? By the way, the screen is covered with a protective film. What the hell? It just bothers me. The mobile operating system runs smoothly. The call quality is surprisingly good. Wide range of screen brightness settings. And the viewing angles of the screen are okay. The camera is quite passable. Focuses, calls for help with a flash when needed.

    To be honest, this is already old. If you don’t care what you use, you can safely take it. It works stably and without glitches. Loud bell and speaker, good reception. But if you were holding in your hands good device, this dinosaur causes nothing but irritation

    There is no antivirus, no Word, no Excel or PDF reader. No notes. There's not even a flashlight. But there are taxis, a couple of banks and a lot of games. Cool. The user's interests are very one-sided. What for to study - we withdraw money, go by taxi and play.
    It's amazing how long it takes to charge.
    The charge indicator is lying. It may suddenly drop %30 in seconds and turn off.
    The headset is in the trash. Prehistoric headphones. Horror!
    You can set only standard melodies for calls, SMS and alarm clocks. Although there are many of them, my favorite “Old ring” was not there.

    For most applications, it throws it onto the desktop. I don’t know why, but on a weak smartphone, those applications that work on it simply throw it onto the desktop. It seems to be a strong smartphone, but when it comes to applications and games, it doesn’t reach 5, but a solid 2. According to the description of the device phone, it is stronger and more powerful than Galaxy 3,4,4 mini but this is just a description. Not everyone has Android 4.4 KitKat, but this one has it, but it’s of no use. As far as I know, Android 4.4 KitKat was supposed to fly. I’m disappointed in this smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat

Good model

Experience of use: several months

Advantages of the phone: Thin, fast, good screen, loud speaker, android 4.4, flash/flashlight, 2 year warranty from the manufacturer Disadvantages of the phone: No indication of missed calls, vibration when dialing a subscriber, middle chamber

Comment about the phone:

I bought a HonPhone W21 as a replacement (the screen was broken). The screen is larger, but not noticeable due to the thickness of the device and fits more comfortably in the hand. Better quality screen and louder speaker. The camera is better when taking photos, but worse when shooting video. There is a flash and this is an opportunity to use the device as a flashlight. It’s a pity there is no indication of missed calls or vibration when dialing a subscriber (it was on the W21). The device is much more lively in operation, and the new platform is pleasing. When making calls, I worked on battery power for 3 to 19 hours, then the battery suddenly ran out (30% in 10 minutes). Decent device, satisfied for the price + 2 year warranty.
PS Use 4 months.
1. Works stably, remove the battery. no need :)
2. The built-in speaker could be louder for conversations with interlocutors.
3. 2 SIM cards with a large number of calls drain the phone in 1 - 1.5 days. WiFi is turned off, mobile. Internet too.
4. The camera sometimes distorts colors.
5. Fast, works quickly.
6. Slightly slow response to pressing. (after Nokia X2).

Review No. 2 about the Fly IQ4415 Quad ERA Style 3 phone

Great model

Experience using the phone: several months

Advantages of the phone Excellent model for the money!!! I can’t imagine how the developers managed to make such a multifunctional phone with a 4.5-inch screen in such a truly elegant body. At first it even seems that the phone is small, but when you put other models next to it you immediately understand that the developers had to “sweat” on the design. Programs do not slow down. Everything works very quickly. The screen is bright, juicy, with excellent color rendition. The sound is good, but you need to understand that this is a phone, not music Center for music lovers and do not need to demand super clear sound. The same goes for photos and videos; if you want super photos and videos, buy a camera and a video camera separately. For phones, this model takes pretty decent pictures. Saw and better photos from phones, but the cost of these phones was much higher.
I confirm everything that is good in the reviews; I will not repeat it. In my opinion, a very successful model!!! Disadvantages of the phone: Of course there are minor shortcomings.
If you turn on the display of the battery charge as a percentage, you will see an abrupt change in the charge level. The graph shows that the battery charge can stay at the same level for half a day, even during conversations, and then sharply drop by 10% during the next short conversation. When about 30% of the charge remains, they also last a long time, and then in a few minutes they go to 0 (more precisely, 20%, at which the phone turns off and requires recharging).
The network indicator level also shows strange things, it can show 2 units, where other models have a full scale, and vice versa, it can show a full scale, where others have little visibility of the network. But there is always a connection, even where some phones are looking for a network.
Perhaps these are only shortcomings of my phone (a problem with the sensors), but perhaps there are also problems with the software. For me this is not critical, the main thing is that there is a connection and the battery holds the charge for the required time.
I immediately bought the case that goes with this model. Where the charger is connected, the cover is half a millimeter, but more than necessary. You have to connect with force, slightly moving the cover. The hole for the camera also caused a controversial feeling. On the one hand, it’s convenient, you can take pictures without removing it from the case, on the other hand, if you accidentally end up with keys in your pocket with your phone, you can scratch the lens. It would be reasonable to make a hole that can be closed with a curtain.

Comment about the phone:

At first it seemed like the battery was draining quickly. Turned off Wi-Fi. To my surprise, when I looked at where the battery charge was going, it turned out that Wi-Fi consumes charge even when Wi-Fi is turned off. After a long search, I found the reason - you need to disable "Location" in the settings. For some reason, Google services don’t care whether you have Wi-Fi turned on or not, they still use it for their own purposes. After turning off everything unnecessary and with minimal conversations during the day, the battery began to drain by only 15% per day, or even less.
I tested the phone in field conditions. I downloaded several navigators, turned on the GPS and went on a hike through the forest. The track was written by three programs at once (I checked the quality of the path recording and calculations), and I periodically checked the path with two more navigator programs. Wi-Fi was turned off, periodically calling and talking for a couple of minutes per hour. Surprisingly, despite the remote area of the forest, where the network is not always accessible by telephones, this phone never lost the network. The GPS in all three programs in two places along the route experienced strange jumps of about 50 meters to the side, the rest without any complaints. In general, in 6 hours the battery sat down by 30%. So using your phone’s GPS is enough for a one-day hike, unless of course you constantly look at the route on the display.
Of course, I would like a more powerful battery, but given the ideal design of the phone, this is hardly possible.
ADDENDUM 6 MONTH LATER. The phone works fine, except for the battery charge sensor. For example, it shows 70% charge, but if the phone is restarted, it will already show 10-30%. Perhaps I got it with such a sensor. For short conversations, it holds a charge for 6 to 8 days (I don’t play games or watch movies on it). A couple of weeks ago I installed a second SIM card and installed the application Clean Master(Accelerator). Cleaned out all the garbage and optimized the system. I didn’t talk much - as a result, the phone with two SIM cards on board worked for almost 10 days (there is a screenshot of the screen) - even the manufacturer does not promise this in standby mode. Super phone!!!

Price of Fly IQ4415 Quad ERA Style 3 phone

Market price at the time of page creation

Fly is gradually taking its place in the niche of smartphones on Russian market. Another proof of this is Fly IQ4415. The first thing we look at is price. Only 5 thousand. This won't surprise anyone, right? But the technical characteristics of the device are slightly better than those of competitors of the same cost.

General

It runs on Android 4.4.2, has 4 cores, and a 1.3 GHz processor. Large toys will not be able to handle them, but for surfing sites and standard applications not bad at all. Dual SIM phone, micro cards.

Weight - 124 g, size: 13.1 * 6.59 * 0.83 cm. In terms of dimensions, Fly IQ4415 is in no way inferior to other mobile brothers.

The display has a diagonal of 4.5 inches. According to the developers, it is made using OGS technology. Matrix - IPS.

At the same time, it saves the minus of all smartphones - the battery. Capacity - 1650 mAh. Discharges with amazing speed if used constantly. Of course, there are some “secrets”:

  • listen to music through a headset, not a speaker;
  • reduce brightness;
  • always charge to the end;
  • download a special application from the market and further.

But this usually doesn't fix it. I'm glad that the battery is removable (many manufacturers have been neglecting this lately).

View full technical characteristics Can .

Display and camera

Screen - 854*480. It is visible from the corners without darkening or other “jambs”. The images are grainier than I would like. But the brightness is high, and there is practically no glare in the sun (if the film is missing or matte).

The main camera for products of this price is standard - 5 megapixels. There is autofocus and flash. The settings are normal, but I would like to separately note only “automatic photo when a smile is detected.” An interesting function, it slows down a little, but it really does see a smile.

Photo quality is acceptable if:

  • hold the phone motionless;
  • the subject of photography is also immovable;
  • a lot of bright light.

If the conditions are not met, the photos will come out blurry. Tip: to make the pictures better quality, make the settings “to suit you.” There is no point in trusting automatic ones.

For conversations on Skype, etc. There is a front camera (0.3 m) in the upper right corner; it does not have autofocus. She is here, let's say, for show.

Design

Girls will probably be delighted: the body is available in black, white and blue. The phone is thin (0.8mm) but appears massive due to the back panel. It seems to flow around the screen, visually thickening it. At the bottom of the display, under the touch buttons, the cover protrudes beyond the border of the device itself. This is a kind of “panel remover”: you press on it, and the cover comes off.

There are three touch buttons:

  • home;
  • back;
  • option.

Because of them, the screen is a little smaller than it could be. If you are used to carrying your device without a case, then get out of the habit: the case is very easily soiled. But it feels pleasant to the touch.

On the plus side, we note that the location of the mechanical buttons has not been changed (this is very convenient):

  • volume - on the left side;
  • food - on the right.

The connectors for charging and headsets are on the top, which is also valuable: while the phone is charging, you can safely use it without the risk of tangling or breaking the wire.

The manufacturer’s signature “fly” is on the back, above the speaker, which, by the way, is made in the style of a grille (however, this seems to be one of the distinctive markers of the manufacturer).

Let's take a look inside. As already mentioned, there are 2 slots for micro-SIM. One is for a flash drive. The disadvantage of slots is that it is not immediately clear how to open them. The covers that prevent the cards from falling out are made of metal, so advice: be careful - they can be easily bent.

Software

There's not much to say here. Fly IQ4415 works on pure Android 4.4.2 with pre-installed applications “for Russia”.

Four cores and 512 MB of RAM are enough for the operating system to run quickly. Of course, you can’t say the same about “heavy” applications.

Lice check (Quadrant, AnTuTu, GPS)

Check for AnTuTu Benchmark(full test) took longer than all the others. The results are attached in the screenshots. Let's add one thing: remember the famous Samsung Galaxy S3? Our Fly IQ4415 even wins in some ways.

The results of the system stability test (AnTuTu Benchmark) were without significant jumps. The temperature rose only 3 degrees. In general, the device practically does not heat up even with constant operation.

Quadrant Professional Edition test data is also included. There are no complaints about GPS performance. Not the best (in terms of finding satellites and cold starts), but it copes with its task for navigation.

Is it convenient in everyday life?

Yes, it is quite:

  • lies comfortably in the hand and does not slip;
  • the screen is visible in the sun;
  • The Internet almost flies.

Another drawback of all smartphones: there are a lot of built-in applications, including toys. Some of them cannot be removed. The same applies to contacts (all sorts of “balance”, “what is my number”, “rescue service”, etc.).

The disadvantages of charging have already been mentioned. Exit: carry with you portable device to recharge the battery or a spare battery. The manufacturer honestly warns that the operating time of the smartphone while watching a video is 4 hours. It will last for the same amount of time when surfing websites and listening to music.

In conclusion Fly review IQ4415 we come to a modest conclusion: the quality is slightly higher than the cost. You can and should pay attention to your phone. No lags or other heresies have been noticed so far.
