Yes, it’s not one of the new cool models, but it’s quite budget-friendly, small and with a sufficient variety of fffsy vfffstuff. In addition, it has already been well-tested by time and has proven from experience that it is quite durable and even completely! The phone worked and works without glitches and failures (pah-pah). And for me this is the most important indicator of quality! In all this time I have only changed the charging socket once.
Appearance and design of the device:
Design:
All series are almost the same, it is classic for these models: elegant, externally sophisticated and simple.
Case material: plastic.
On one side of the case there is a volume button and a power button. Big fat plus! – metal frames -
when dropped on its side, the phone does not break (although the crooked handles have been dropped more than once)) or because of carelessness - but the fact is that not a single scratch was left!)
Color: I chose white.

Its advantages are good, fairly extensive internal functionality.
Not bad quality overall.
The camera quality is excellent.
Excellent long lasting battery. Even with very active use of the battery, it lasts up to 2 days!
In general, there are more pros and cons for this model than cons!
In principle, I don’t need anything more.
This model, in this price segment, (and I also took New Year's promotion in the Dubai Mall in 2015 - we took 2 things at once,) just an ideal price-quality ratio! It is unlikely that for such a price you can find something better. Therefore, despite the disadvantages (and for me they are not so important, they are insignificant), I raise my finger up.

What is most important for a budget device? Ease of use, design and capabilities like a flagship - boast it all Samsung Galaxy Star Advance can't. However, it has other advantages and the main ones are, of course, price and reliability, which are ensured by the marking of a famous brand on the case.
We won’t dwell on the configuration, since there’s not much to talk about here. In the box from under the device you can find battery, Charger and a Micro USB cable. The manufacturer took pity on the wired headset. The delivery package is boring and very budget-friendly, so let’s move on directly to the design.
Appearance of the smartphone
Externally, the device is a simple candy bar with rounded corners, made entirely of plastic. There are only two color variations on the market: black and white models.
Along the perimeter of the front side there is a chrome frame protruding above the surface. It does not interfere with use, but rather, on the contrary, it prevents the screen from touching the surface when the phone is lying on it with its back up.
Above the screen there is a speaker grid and branding. No proximity sensors or automatic adjustment there is no backlight here.
The manufacturer has come up with an interesting way to avoid random clicks ear or cheek when calling. When you receive and answer a call, the touch screen surface is locked and the display turns off. Thus, to reset the conversation, you must first activate the device with the power button on the right side, then double-click on the glowing lock and only after that you can press the touch key to end the call. Difficult? Samsung is not looking for easy ways...
At the bottom of the front side there is one physical “Home” button, on either side of which there are touch-sensitive keys for the “Recently opened applications” multitasking mode and the “Back” function. The icons for these actions are not illuminated in the dark, so in the dark or when the lights are turned off, you will have to point your finger at the phone from memory. It’s not very convenient, but again there is no other choice.
At the back, the device has a ribbed cover with holes for a multimedia speaker, camera and LED flash.
The cover is removable, so the battery is hidden under it, as well as slots for installing a memory card and two Micro SIM cards at once. Thus, the device can be classified as Duos. Here, closer to the bottom edge, antennas for the signal are installed cellular network. I tried using the so-called death grip, when the cellular network signal disappears when you hold the phone tightly with your palm, but this did not happen and I did not notice any deterioration in speech quality.
At the top end there is a jack for connecting a headset (3.5 mm), and at the bottom there is a universal Micro USB port and a hole for a conversational microphone.
On the right there is only a power button, and in addition there is a recess with which you can open the battery compartment cover. The latter can be removed easily and simply.
The volume buttons occupy the left side of the smartphone. Their movement is clear, and there is practically no backlash.
The phone's dimensions are modest, making it fit perfectly into any palm. To fully understand the dimensions of the device, I propose to compare it in this parameter with its main competitors.

The front side is covered with protective glass (technology, model not specified), which does not have an oleophobic coating. In other words, the screen quickly becomes covered with greasy fingerprints and they are not removed as easily as they would be with a specially applied coating. On the other hand, you shouldn't expect any budget device to have any effective anti-fingerprint layer. This is fine.
Display
The screen diagonal is 4.3 inches, which in a more understandable metric system is 109.2 mm. The screen resolution is 800 x 480 pixels, respectively, the pixel density is 217 ppi.
The screen is made using TFT technology (not IPS), so you can’t hope for high-quality and rich color reproduction.
No, of course, from the right viewing angle everything is not so bad, but as soon as you tilt the smartphone in any direction, the picture instantly fades and is inverted. An example of this display behavior is shown in the photo below.
In addition, due to the use of a cheap matrix, the picture is constantly illuminated by some kind of mirror halo. The black color is not really black, but more of a gray shade, and has a kind of shiny glow. This effect disappears if you look at the display in landscape orientation.
In the sun, the screen fades as expected and it is quite difficult to make out anything on it. Turning the backlight up to maximum partially helps the situation, but it’s still far from ideal.

I can’t find any other explanation for the lack of third generation networks. On a function that is initially available in the vast majority mobile devices with the exception of ultra-budget devices, here the manufacturer tried to save money, explaining it in its own, slightly perverse way.
Another noteworthy drawback is the speed of the device. She is, to put it mildly, not amazing. However, the same can be said about the battery. The work to optimize energy consumption has not been carried out sufficiently here.

In any case, this is a large sum for a device with similar characteristics, but it is worth considering that budget products from Samsung always cost a quarter more than their competitors. Calls, convenient phone book, SMS, mms when there is wi-fi, bluetooth so that when driving a car I am not distracted by the handset in my hand - I don’t need more. Internet, applications, data exchange, mail, camera, books... - for all this I have an Apple tablet, and duplicating these functions on the phone would be superfluous. Therefore, in addition to the quality of communication, the sound of a speaker compatible with a bluetooth car radio, appearance and a convenient interface did not interest me in this model. Due to the lack of this smartphone 3g my battery lasts well - 3 days.
I only make calls with my smartphone. For everything else there is a tablet. It makes an excellent bunch. For something like this I recommend
