Well, now this is a thing of the past, but launching the multi-window mode itself turned out to be not the most convenient.
In “naked android” everything is simple: go to the menu latest apps, drag the screen up and that’s it. Or you hold down the button to call this menu and the function is activated independently. In MIUI 9, to activate multi-windows, you need to press an additional button in the application menu, and quick launch simply not.
But having managed to screw up in one place, the Chinese caught up in another, improving the overall logic of this opportunity. In "naked Android", if you don't play tricks with the settings in developer mode, not every application can be launched in multi-window mode.
