This year, all premium smartphones went on sale with at least 128 GB of internal memory. Even last year's Samsung Galaxy Note 9 received 128 GB in the basic configuration.

Sales of Samsung tablets are falling every year, but the manufacturer does not give up and releases new models. The authoritative resource GalaxyClub published information about two unannounced devices in the premium segment.

The popularity of tablets is falling, but major manufacturers still release new models every year. In February, Samsung announced a new device Galaxy Tab S5e, and a few weeks ago it went on sale in Russia.

Although the tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e appeared in Russia less than a week ago, it has been on sale for about two months in other countries. Its owners began to notice one nuance that is related to the design of the device.

On April 15, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S5e tablet in Russia, and 11 days later it went into official retail. As we reported back then, the only available model, regardless of color, will cost 34,990 rubles.

The premium series tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e was officially announced in February, but will go on sale only at the end of April. It is available from official retailers of the South Korean company at a recommended price of 34,990 rubles. You will be able to purchase it on April 26th.

On April 11, Samsung released a major Android update 9.0 Pie for Galaxy J6 and Galaxy Tab S4. Previously identical software latest version received Galaxy J8 in Russia.

The March update is also available for the premium Galaxy Tab S3 tablet. This morning Samsung released new build software with number T825UBU2BSC2.

About 4 months ago, insiders revealed the existence of a Galaxy Tab A series tablet with model number SM-P205. Today its official announcement took place, and the manufacturer revealed its technical characteristics. Here is an 8-inch gadget with its own S Pen on board.

On February 15, Samsung announced the release of a new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S5e, which we didn't even know existed. Renders of the device appeared online a few hours before the debut and all we knew about it were its design features.

Today will be remembered for the release of not one tablet, but two at once. Samsung announced new Galaxy Tab S5e and more affordable Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). The latter seems to be sold exclusively in Germany.

We told you that Samsung was going to introduce a new Galaxy Tab S5e tablet, and a few hours after the publication of this news, the company made an official statement.

The never-released Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 tablet is an excellent example of how the Chinese imitate the line of a popular brand and deceive customers. It must be said that they do this with enviable regularity, not only copying existing models, but even inventing their own.

A year ago, in many media outlets that write about mobile technologies, information has emerged that the Korean company is about to release a new inexpensive tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 (8.0). Against the backdrop of triumph flagship smartphones Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge this news somehow went unnoticed by the general public.

Actually, it was based on one strange leak from China, where in the database of TENAA, a local certification center for telecommunications equipment, an entry about the Galaxy Tab 5 (8.0) tablet manufactured by Samsung was noticed.

Some characteristics of the future Galaxy Tab 5 were also named there:

  • 8-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels, made using AMOLED technology
  • Unknown mobile processor with four cores and a frequency of 1.2 GHz
  • 2 Gb RAM
  • Built-in flash memory capacity 16, 32 or 64 Gb depending on modification
  • Map support MicroSD memory up to 128 Gb
  • Main camera 5 megapixels
  • Front-camera 2 megapixels
  • OS Android 5.0.2 + TouchWiz shell
  • Dimensions 208 x 138 x 7.4 mm
  • S-Pen stylus

As a result, such a tablet did come out, but it was not called Galaxy Tab 5, but Samsung SM-T355C Galaxy Tab A 8.0 TD-LTE (full name). This device opened up a completely new line of inexpensive tablets from the company, similar to the line of Galaxy A smartphones.

However, here the Chinese “enter” the arena. And they are releasing a device called exactly... Samsung Galaxy Tab 5. The domestic market of the People's Republic of China is currently structured in such a way that it is often impossible for local brands to protect themselves from counterfeits, let alone foreign ones.

Pseudo-Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 3G (2SIM)

This is the name of a common Chinese counterfeit of Samsung, which is still found in abundance not only on online ad sites like Avito, but even in some seemingly less-than-reputable online stores. Sellers on AliExpress and AliBaba do not disdain them either.

Characteristics of a fake:

  • Processor Dual Core MTK 6572 1.3 GHz (Samsung does not use MediaTek processors on their tablets)
  • Screen 7 inches (not 8)
  • Screen resolution 800×432 (the Korean giant hasn’t done this for a long time)
  • Built-in storage 4 Gb (day before yesterday)
  • RAM 512 Gb (that is, hello brakes)
  • Cameras: 2 MP main and 2 MP front (this is often found on cheap Chinese tablets, but not from normal brands)
  • MicroSD up to 32 Gb
  • "Naked" Android 4.2.2. (no proprietary TouchWiz shell)

However, due to the fact that many are not particularly versed in technical details, this “Samsung” Galaxy Tab 5 is often sold to unlucky buyers even in Russia.

Widget from SocialMart

Usually it happens like this: on the same Avito, someone sells a tablet that they allegedly bought from Euroset/Eldorado/Svyaznoy (underline or add as necessary). And it can even show a receipt with a price like a real Samsung (15,000 - 20,000 rubles). However, he sells the device for 5,000 - 8,000 rubles, although the red price is 1,500 - 2,000. Some people have built their business on this, unfortunately.

An example of a receipt for a fake Galaxy Tab 5, taken from here: http://www.yaplakal.com/forum2/topic928632.html

Not everyone, as we have already indicated above, is able to distinguish a Chinese counterfeit from the original; in the end they buy such a “Samsung”, and then they also complain about what bad devices the Koreans produce.

A gallery of fake photos for those who are interested in looking at this “miracle”:

In 2015, Samsung brought to the market two tablets of the second Galaxy Tab S series: with 8 and 9.7-inch diagonals. Huge foot wraps have been written about the advantages of new products. We offer you honest review disadvantages of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

DISADVANTAGES WHICH ARE WRITTEN ABOUT IN REVIEWS AND TESTS

Screen aspect ratio is inconvenient for watching movies

In a review on Hi-tech.mail.ru It is noted that the tablet is completely tailored for Internet content: social networks, YouTube, and so on. Unfortunately, it became inconvenient to watch widescreen films on it. This is due to the screen aspect ratio of 4:3, which is why part of the film either moves beyond the visible area, or, conversely, leaves empty space, causing visual discomfort. Stretching the image helps, but somewhat distorts the original proportions.

Low power battery

Photo: skymarket.ua

This is especially true for the ultra-thin Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. There is a 4000 mAh battery installed here. According to Hi-tech.mail.ru, its full charge lasts for an average of 4 hours of gaming or 7 hours of video in Full HD at maximum screen brightness. In a review on 4pda.ru Games are given no more than three hours. In mode regular work(surfing the Internet, office applications, several photos) the battery lasts up to 12 hours. Energy consumption can be reduced by using a special tablet operating mode, but in this mode the list of applications that can be used is noticeably reduced.

Difficult to use and expensive case

Photo: www.rde.ee

This accessory is discussed in detail in the review on Keddr.com. TO new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (at least 8.0, at least 9.7) a universal case will not work (even if you choose the right one, the working buttons will be covered), a branded one is required. It is high quality and attractive, but figuring out how to install the tablet in the stand position is not easy. A special magnetic strip that secures the case locks the screen in some positions. It is impossible to get it out of this state even with a key; you have to change the position of the tablet. Why such difficulties is unclear. At the same time, the original case costs from 2000 to 6000 rubles.

Camera without flash

This is a step back compared to many other modern devices from the Korean company. Yes, the tablet is not a camera, but since there is an 8-megapixel camera, why not make it fully functional? And it turns out that during the day the tablet can take good photos, but even in good lighting, blurry frames periodically slip through. And even more so at dusk. The front camera is not impressive at all, 2.1 megapixels - this is not enough even for selfies.

There are also limitations when shooting video. As noted in the portal review 4pda.ru, in the maximum video recording resolution mode (2560x1440), you cannot use electronic stabilization, video effects, or take photos while recording video. And the shooting time is limited to five minutes. More or less high-quality shooting can be obtained handheld in Full HD mode with stabilization turned on.

Weak performance in “heavy” games

Photo: keddr.com

According to this parameter, as they write on HowTablet.ru, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 seriously loses to its main competitors - Nexus 9 and iPad Air 2. On GFXBench Manhattan tests, the Samsung tablet scored only 959 at native resolution, a far cry from the Nexus's 1,942 points and the iPad Air 2's 2,331. The popular HeartStone ran great on the Tab S2, but the game exhibited brief stuttering from time to time. Nothing like this was observed with Google and Apple tablets.

DISADVANTAGES WHICH ARE WRITTEN ABOUT IN THE REVIEWS

No fast charging

Unlike many other tablets, the Galaxy Tab S2 does not have this feature. The battery charges in approximately 4 hours (for some users, according to their reviews on Yandex.Market, a little longer).

Too “acidic” colors

Photo: blog.khojle.in

Users feel that the screen, especially on factory settings, is too contrasty and harsh in colors. That's why Galaxy owners The Tab S2 has to be tweaked with its modes so that your eyes don't get tired.

It is inconvenient to hold the tablet with one hand

Photo: i-cdn.phonearena.com

Due to the design features (thin side bars), you have to be very careful when holding the tablet with one hand. If you place your thumb on the screen, its sensor will stop responding to touch. Otherwise, the device will simply slip out and fall.

Poor speaker placement

Both speakers (of good quality, I must say) are located on the bottom end of the tablet. Therefore, while playing games or watching movies, holding the tablet with both hands, it is very easy to accidentally block one of them. The sound immediately becomes much quieter. It seems like a small problem, but it causes inconvenience for Galaxy Tab S2 owners.

Is it really that bad?

Photo: www.iguides.ru

“Sweet couple” Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 are truly technically advanced devices with nice design. The 8-inch version is generally the thinnest tablet in the world. The eight-core processor allows you to solve the vast majority of tasks without any slowdown. High quality The AMOLED screen is noted by all review authors. Even the dialer, which seems to be optional for tablets, looks useful application to the already extensive functionality of the Galaxy Tab S2. But, taking into account the shortcomings described in reviews, tests and reviews, we can say that the second series of S-tablets turned out to be not as revolutionary as they might have expected. Therefore, the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 can be recommended primarily to connoisseurs of the brand, as well as to those who do not have enough money for the latest iPad, but want to have something similar in quality and functionality.

Positioning

The tablet market around the world is experiencing far from better times, the reason is banal - old tablets bought several years ago cope with their tasks perfectly, you can play on them, watch movies, surf the Internet. The only reason why tablets are replaced is their failure; obsolescence of tablets is practically not affected. Perhaps that’s why Samsung was in no hurry to update the Tab S2; between the Tab S2 and S3 there is a gap of almost two years. This once again further demonstrates that the tablet segment is no longer a priority for the company. And if previously it was important for Samsung to be number one in this segment, to overtake Apple in technical specifications of their products, then in Tab S3 we see for the first time something completely different - it is rather a repetition of what was done in iPad Pro 9.7. That is, a kind of year-late response to a competitor’s successful model.

Samsung does not attach any importance to the Tab S3, it does not receive significant marketing support, promotion efforts are noticeably less than for the Tab S2, these efforts are relatively less, if not by orders of magnitude, then by several times. In such conditions, Samsung decided that the Tab S3 would be of interest to a narrow audience that is attracted by new flagship products, so instead of positioning on iPad level, this model is positioned higher in some countries! And if in the USA the cost of these solutions is the same up to a dollar, then in Russia they are very different. The reason is also that the Tab S2 is still selling well and this model is considered more interesting in terms of sales. Therefore, you need to clearly understand what this tablet can give or not give you in order to choose it consciously, taking into account all the pros and cons.

Also in the Tab S3 there was a merging of two product lines, once Samsung produced tablets with the Note prefix and S Pen support, now they are two in one, the Tab S3 comes with a stylus that allows you to draw on the screen and write. This is one of the competitive advantages of this model and an additional audience. creative people who need a precise tool for entering information by hand.

Design, dimensions, control elements

The design of the tablet has undergone big changes, now it has a metal chassis and a glass back, which somehow reminded me of Sony tablets, which are no longer on the market. The use of such materials is a tribute to current devices from Samsung; flagship smartphones are exactly like this, so the flagship tablet was created in a similar way. It’s difficult for me to assess how necessary this was, since for a tablet plastic case more convenient, it does not get dirty, and is reliable in case of falls (less chances of breaking it). And despite the fact that the Tab S3 uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5, this does not matter - the number of surfaces that can be broken in the event of an unsuccessful fall has doubled.

The change in case materials affected the weight; if the previous one weighed 389 grams, the new one weighs 429 grams. The difference is noticeable only in direct comparison, but I like the Tab S2 much better in my hands, it is more grippy.

The tablets are available in two colors - silver and black.

The side edging of the tablet is made of metal, it is painted on top, this is especially noticeable over time, abrasions appear and the metal is exposed.

Samsung has one of typical problems This is painting metal, they don't know how to make it durable. Therefore, the most practical option would be to buy a silver-colored device.

Hand marks remain on the glass, there is no escape from this. I prefer the metal body of the iPad, especially since it weighs about the same and the dimensions are similar.

At the top and bottom ends (narrow) there are speakers from AKG, that is, there are four speakers in total in the tablet. There is also a 3.5 mm jack at the bottom end, as well as a USB Type C connector; it is not centered and is shifted to the right.

On the left side there is a magnetic connector for connecting external accessories, such as a keyboard case.

On the right side there is a paired volume key, just above the on/off button. There are also two microphones on this side, plus a slot for a nanoSIM card (only in the LTE version).

On the front side there is a camera, a light sensor, and in the center there is a mechanical key with a fingerprint sensor embedded in it. The operation of the fingerprint sensor does not raise any questions; everything works quickly and efficiently. On the sides of the key there are two touch buttons, they are quite convenient.

There are no questions regarding the build quality of the tablet; everything is reliable and good. The build quality feels like a flagship.

Display

Display 9.7 inches, SuperAMOLED, 2048x1536 (QXGA), automatic brightness adjustment, S Pen support. Historically, Samsung makes screens that are the best in their classes, and this was the case when comparing the Tab S2 with the iPad Air 2, but with the release of the iPad Pro 9.7, Apple made their screen no worse than the one in the Tab S2, and even better in color reproduction. From the Tab S3, I personally expected a qualitative change in the screen so that it would surpass the display in the iPad in terms of its characteristics, but this did not happen. The only parameter by which Samsung is better, this is the behavior of the screen in the sun, brightness adjustment. Otherwise, the displays are at least comparable, and subjectively the iPad Pro 9.7 wins. The peculiarity of the implementation of games on Android makes the picture a little more blurry, not so sharp on the Tab S3, and this is noticeable to the naked eye. The fonts are not written out as well, the colors are more acidic.

I can't say that the screen is bad, but the progress compared to the Tab S2 is not very noticeable and this raises questions. In its strongest area, Samsung decided not to improve the product and this is very strange, if not surprising. For Android tablets This is the nicest possible screen, but it is plus/minus identical to what we see in the iPad Pro (despite the fact that it is an IPS matrix).

In the settings, you can choose one of four operating modes (adaptive is the default, Movie AMOLED, Photo AMOLED, basic). It’s worth choosing the adaptive mode; it perfectly adjusts the picture to the displayed content, plus it processes external lighting conditions. That is, the adaptive mode itself will turn on the reading settings, realizing that you are reading a book or page in the browser.

There is also a blue filter for working before bed, so as not to excite the psyche.

Battery

Built-in Li-Ion battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh. When playing video in HD resolution (MX Player, hardware acceleration, AVI, maximum brightness), the operating time is almost 12 hours. If you enable automatic adjustment backlight or reduce the brightness, the operating time will increase to 13-14 hours. This is noticeably more than any tablet in this class. And if you take into account the weight and dimensions of the tablet, it can be considered a kind of record.

When using a SIM card in a tablet, when you make calls and write SMS, everything is not so rosy. It will work for a day or more with an average load (2 hours of screen, about an hour of calls). The cellular module eats up the battery quite quickly. If we limit ourselves only to data transfer, then everything will be typical for such devices, comparable to the same iPad - about 7-8 hours of operation.

In games, you can achieve a maximum of 7-7.5 hours of work, which depends on the screen settings. But in games it is involved maximum number cores, which negatively affects operating time, the tablet noticeably warms up.

If you want maximum battery life, don't use Chrome; Samsung's browser is much more energy efficient. The difference in operating time will be almost double! As for me, Google urgently needs to do something about the energy efficiency of Chrome, it eats up the battery too quickly mobile devices, although convenient in other aspects.

Traditionally, there is a power saving mode when you can limit processor performance, remove the backlight of touch keys, degrade animation, and so on. Unfortunately, in this mode you cannot select individual items, you can only enable them all at once. The best part is that you can install automatic switching on this mode when the battery is discharged to a certain level (5, 15, 20, 50%).

In maximum power saving mode, the display turns gray and background data transfer is limited. This mode has no analogues from other companies and is directly related to the capabilities of the display.

Full battery charging time is about 4.5 hours (2A), mode fast charging not supported. In terms of overall operating time, the Tab S3 is normal, but does not set any records.

Memory, memory cards, performance

The built-in memory is 32 GB, you have about 24 GB of space available for your programs and data. You can install a memory card up to 256 GB, there is almost no difference in access speed, so applications stored on the card will work just as quickly. The amount of RAM is 3 GB, which is quite enough for any task. In the interface, the device works very quickly, there are simply no slowdowns.

The chipset is not the latest - Snapdragon 820. Four cores, maximum frequency up to 2.15 GHz. The speed of the tablet does not raise any questions, and this is also proven by synthetic tests.

Communication capabilities

The tablet does not support NFC, which is a shame, because for most, the presence of this technology makes using the device more convenient (quick pairing with other phones or tablets with one touch).

Other strengths Samsung tablets are still here. Wi-Fi antenna is dual-band, operates in 2.4/5 GHz, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, traditionally available Wi-Fi Direct. Bluetooth version 4.2.

GPS/GLONASS support is implemented well; the tablet turned out to be successful as a navigation device.

Camera

The front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels, the main one is 13 megapixels. Formally, the cameras are better than they were and noticeably better than those in the iPad Pro, but the problem is that few people take pictures with such a large tablet. And it is right. It’s unlikely that anyone will shoot 4K video, which is also supported. Look at the interface and sample pictures.

Sample photos

Software and S Pen Features

The tablet runs Android 7 with TouchWiz, which is slightly different from what we see on the Galaxy S8, but very similar to that on the S7/S7 EDGE. In a separate material we describe the features of this shell.

The tablet comes with an S Pen; unfortunately, the stylus will need to be carried separately; it is impossible to attach it to the body; there is a compartment for it in a proprietary case. Although you can attach the S Pen to the back surface with a metal clip (there is just a magnet inside for the keyboard cover). It holds securely, but will definitely fall off on the road.

The stylus itself supports 4000 degrees of pressure, and a number of programs have been adapted for it, this Samsung Notes, music app Soundcamp and Pen.UP (sort of social network for those who like to draw).

The S Pen is a pleasure to draw with and is a comfortable pen. Especially for those who are accustomed to ordinary pencils, you can buy this pencil separately.

S Pen support is available in most graphics applications, but the maximum support is only in those that are adapted to all capabilities, for example, overlaying colors like in a regular watercolor and the like. For those who draw, this tablet is surprisingly convenient; unfortunately, I am not one of them. The iPad Pro has roughly the same drawing experience, but additional features Apple Pencil doesn't. But the S Pen has so-called Air Command, you can call context menu and highlight an unfamiliar word to immediately see its translation on the screen. Supported different languages, you choose them yourself. For learners of other languages, this is an invaluable, handy tool.

Traditionally, you can take various screenshots, cut out parts of pictures of any kind (oval, ellipse, magnetic lasso). You can write something right there on the screenshot and send it by mail or some other way.

A few words about the sound capabilities of the device; they have changed a lot compared to all previous devices. Besides the fact that the tablet has 4 speakers from AKG and they are loud and clearly audible (the volume level is similar to the iPad Pro with its speakers). But in addition to this, a separate music DSP and amplifier are used inside; they allow you to get rid of delays when broadcasting sound, which is the problem with Android as such. And this explains the lack of music applications for those who create music on Android, with the advent of this tablet the situation may change, but for now the only application specifically adapted to the Tab S3 is Soundcamp. It is unlikely that this will convince musicians to switch to this device; we expect new products to appear.

For the mass consumer, working with sound is not at all critical; people simply won’t notice the difference. Listening to different songs on headphones with various settings did not reveal any fundamental differences, subjectively at the level of perception something sounds better, but it seems to me that this is simply convincing oneself that a difference should be felt, so the brain produces “differences”.

Impression

Two years ago, the Tab S2 came out in two sizes, small and large tablets, 8 and 10 inches. The Tab S3 model was released in only one size - 9.7 inches, that is, they created a complete analogue of the iPad Pro 9.7. Let me remind you that the iPad came out a year earlier, and the only difference between the product and Samsung is that the S Pen is included in the package; for the iPad you need to buy the Apple Pencil separately, its price is one hundred dollars. However, there is one more advantage: the S Pen does not need to be charged, although this is no longer so important, since the Apple Pencil can be charged directly from the tablet and one charge will last for a long time.

For a long time Consumers have been waiting for an update to the Note line of tablets, and the Tab S3 is a partial answer to such expectations. The positioning of the device in Russia is very strange, since the price of WiFi/LTE versions is 49,990 and 59,990 rubles. For comparison, the price of iPad Pro 9.7 in Russia is 44,990 and 54,990 rubles. I think the pricing logic was as follows: tablet plus stylus. But in the end, this plays a cruel joke on the Tab S3; for the mass consumer who is not tied to the platform, the iPad Pro 9.7 is the best choice, since most likely he does not need a stylus and will not pay for it. The correct approach for Samsung would be to position itself at the same price level. But this did not happen, and therefore, with a better perception of the iPad, they will buy it en masse, which is what is happening, the preponderance of iPad sales is significant, but the demand for the Tab S3 is very modest.

The Tab S3 has no competitors in the Android tablet market; no one produces this kind of device. But coming a year after the iPad Pro 9.7, the Tab S3 doesn't have much going for it, which is surprising and different from previous years. In a word, you decide how interested you are in this product.

Samsung has unveiled this year's new tablet from Galaxy lines Tab A - this was a model called SM-T280. The device is a 7-inch mid-range gadget with a low price.

The company has released a small but functional gadget for its customers

Let's do more detailed review characteristics of the new model, learn about its parameters and the capabilities it provides to the user.

Contents of delivery

The delivery set, as before, is minimal - documentation, cable for connecting via USB and Charger. Nothing new, unusual or unnecessary. Everyone can purchase headphones, a case, or a protective film for the screen according to their wishes.

Design

As is customary with this manufacturer, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 is outwardly simple in design, but looks attractive - the designers’ sense of style does not disappear over time. The tablet is available in black and white colors.

The manufacturer's logo is located on the top of the front, a function key at the bottom, and two touch buttons on either side of it. On the back you can see the camera connector, on the side of it there is a speaker and another reminder of who released this gadget.

The body is made of matte plastic and looks beautiful and dignified. The dimensions are quite compact, the device can be easily carried with you, and it weighs little. Such a solution determines that the device is well suited for the user for work, study, and travel, since it is convenient to take with you.

In general, the external design is not satisfactory and will appeal to many buyers; the device will fit well into any environment, which makes it universal.

Screen

The model is equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, guaranteeing good quality Images. This diagonal is the most popular among users, as it is convenient for watching movies or web pages, but at the same time the tablet remains compact and mobile, so you can always have it at hand.

It is worth noting that IPS screens, like this Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016, are notable for their quality and are the best option for this type of technology. They are inexpensive and provide colorful images with large viewing angles. Such a display will cope well with basic tasks - such as watching videos or photos, reading, surfing the Internet.

Performance

The tablet comes with an Exynos 3475 processor, which consists of 4 cores and has a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. Performance is also affected RAM, the volume of which in the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 is 1.5 GB. Combining the characteristics, we can conclude that the tablet has decent performance, which is sufficient for a mid-class device.

Such parameters are sufficient for daily tasks- using the Internet, watching videos or movies, reading and working in applications, even if all this happens at the same time. Naturally, a tablet cannot be considered a gaming tablet - equipment with such specialization is much more expensive, since games require more powerful parameters.

Of course, you can play on this device, but the graphics are unlikely to be the most realistic, and demanding applications may not be displayed correctly. So the tablet can be used mainly for work, and on the road it will come in handy as a compact multimedia center.

Multimedia capabilities

ABOUT multimedia capabilities Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 can be judged based on its screen, performance and sound parameters. If we talk about the screen, its quality will allow you to enjoy a beautiful picture of a movie, video or photos, and the 7-inch size also plays in its favor.

The tablet's speaker is located on the back, close to the camera but not on the edge, so you won't be muted when holding the device. It makes a pretty good loud and clear sound. The model's performance is sufficient to fully perform all multimedia-related tasks. The system provides 8 GB of memory for storing files - not much, but the tablet can easily read cards up to 200 GB in size. Therefore, you will have somewhere to store all your books, documents, photos and TV series, and the main space is better used for applications.

Battery and operating time

The tablet has a 4000 mAh battery. Considering the operation of the system, this power should be enough for 9 hours Samsung works Galaxy Tab A 2016. In fact, this indicator is very relative - it all depends on how intensively you use the device.

It can be assumed that since the screen, like the processor, does not consume too much energy, the battery will be enough for one working day. IN in some cases, if you only use the tablet for an hour and a half a day, it will last for several days without any problems.

Camera
