Smartphones with increased battery capacity have always been in high demand. This is understandable, because not leaving the outlet is an unpleasant pleasure. It is noteworthy that now the long-lived smartphone is in model range from almost every manufacturer mobile devices, but in most cases it is an inconspicuous block with impressive thickness and noticeable weight, which not many people like. What to do if you want long-term autonomy and appearance don't care? There is a solution, one of these pleasant-looking “long-livers” is a smartphone from the company ZTE entitled Blade X3. It has rather modest hardware, but it is counterbalanced by a 4000 mAh battery, which is quite a lot, and a stylish appearance. Just look at the set of colors; in addition to the traditional black and white cases, you can find them in stores ZTE Blade X3 in gold color, looks stylish.

Design and management

As announced at the very beginning, the smartphone looks very nice. Of course, we can’t say that it is very different from hundreds of its brothers, it’s still the same monoblock with a screen that covers almost the entire front panel, but there are several nuances that make the entire design of the Blade X3. Firstly, the color, as already mentioned, there are three options on sale - white, black and gold, we had a white smartphone at our disposal. Although this is not particularly practical, the almost completely white device looks great. Secondly, the frame around the screen is made in black, which, when the display is turned off, creates the feeling that there are no frames at all, but in fact they are very wide, like most inexpensive smartphones. Case material - matte plastic. The entire front panel is covered with scratch-resistant protective glass; there is most likely no oleophobic coating. The back cover is made of matte plastic with a mother-of-pearl effect; it looks quite nice and shimmers in the light. The material of the back panel is non-slip, the device does not try to slip out of your hand. The overall build quality is at the highest level, you get the feeling that you are holding a smartphone in your hands not for 8,000 rubles, but at least twice as expensive. Absolutely no plastic creaks or gaps between elements.

Noteworthy are the touch buttons under the screen. They are an unconventional blue color and consist of a couple of dots and a small circle in the center. There is a backlight, it is also blue. The functions performed are standard - “Back”, “Home” and “Menu”. What’s interesting is that by default the buttons are located in an unusual way, “Menu” on the right and “Back” on the left, but by delving into the settings you can set a more familiar layout.

Above the screen there is a standard set of elements - a front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels, a speaker under a small metal grille, a barely noticeable light indicator and proximity and lighting sensors.

The main camera took its usual place in the upper left corner of the body. Single camera led flash. It's worth noting the slightly raised rim around the camera's eye, thanks to which you don't have to worry about scratching the camera glass on the table.

The lower part of the rear panel is reserved for the speaker. To prevent the sound from being muffled when the smartphone is placed on a table or any other hard surface, two small elevations were provided next to the speaker grille; although they are not particularly noticeable, they significantly increase the sound volume during calls. As for the overall impressions of the sound, it’s difficult to classify a smartphone as a music device; the sound from the external speaker is quite dry, not rich in bass, and the volume is high. In general, if you are an inexperienced listener, the sound will seem quite normal to you.

Next, we'll talk about the elements at the ends of the body. They are distributed evenly, on the bottom end there is a microUSB port shifted to the left edge for charging and connecting to a computer, next to it there is an inconspicuous hole for a speaking microphone. On top, in the same place, is a 3.5 mm audio output.

The power button and volume button, as expected, are on the top right. Taking into account the very small dimensions of the device, reaching the buttons will not be difficult even for people with medium-sized palms. The buttons themselves are plastic and press smoothly and silently.

Now about the dimensions. It would seem that a 4000 mAh battery implies a considerable thickness of the case, this is partly true, the ZTE Blade X3 can hardly be called thin, after all, it is 8.9 mm, but it does not feel particularly bulky in the hand. The width and height of the smartphone are 71.5 and 145 mm, respectively. The Blade X3 weighs only 121 grams, which is even smaller than some competitors with a much more modest battery.

The back cover is removable, but there are no slots or recesses to remove it; you have to use the hole for the microUSB port to do this. After removing the cover, a not very pleasant surprise immediately awaits us; it turns out that the battery is not removable, which means that when the complete battery has exhausted its service life, replacing it with a new one on your own will not be so easy. There are also a couple of slots for micro-SIM cards, and one of them is combined with a slot for a microSD memory card. The smartphone supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. SIM cards function in Dual mode SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), which implies the presence of only one radio module and, as a result, the inaccessibility of one SIM card when talking on another.

Screen

The ZTE Blade X3 screen has characteristics that are already familiar to many: a 5-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The pixel density is 294 ppi. This density gives a completely smooth high-quality picture, individual pixels on which can only be seen upon closer inspection. The brightness adjustment range is very wide; at the minimum level it is comfortable to work with the smartphone even in the dark, and at the maximum level you can use the device in bright sunlight. Color rendition is natural. Up to five simultaneous touches are supported, which will be enough for most applications and games.

The viewing angles are quite wide; at strong viewing angles, only a slight darkening of the picture is noticeable, which is not critical.

The backlight uniformity on both white and black backgrounds is good. Weak areas of light can only be identified when looking at an angle at a black picture.

Operating system and software

The smartphone is controlled by the operating system Android systems 5.1 using a proprietary launcher from ZTE. There are no global changes to the system; the launcher makes rather cosmetic changes. In addition to the standard unlock screen, there is a screen called “Start”, which looks very nice, and offers additional functionality, but it slows down noticeably, so it’s quite difficult to use it for pleasure.

There is no menu with applications; all icons are on desktops, the number of which can be easily increased or decreased. Access to widgets is carried out by tapping on an empty space on the desktop, initially there are quite a lot of widgets, you can choose something useful. It is noteworthy that the manufacturer has provided two operating modes for the smartphone, or rather displaying the main menu and main applications. In addition to the standard design, there is also the so-called “Family Mode”, which turns the smartphone into a real “grandmother’s phone” with huge icons and minimum sets functions, and there is also a quick call emergency services, which is especially important for older people.

You can customize the shell a little using the built-in designer, where you can change the color of the design, set different effects when turning pages, and select different types of icons. Those who like to experiment with launchers will definitely like it.

The set of pre-installed software is small, there is only the most necessary. Naturally, there is the entire list of standard utilities from Google, as well as a calendar, calculator, voice recorder, convenient file manager, WPS Office and so on. It is also possible to update the firmware “over the air”, but at the time of testing the most latest version systems. It should be noted that it is possible to change the location of the touch buttons under the screen; the manufacturer has also taken care of left-handers.

"Dialer" and the SMS application have a standard appearance.

Performance and Memory

ZTE Blade X3 is based on the MediaTek MT6735P platform. The processor has 4 ARM Cortex A53 cores with an operating frequency of 1 GHz. The graphics are handled by the Mali-T720 core with support for OpenGL ES 3.0 technology paired with OpenCL 1.2. According to the manufacturer, this platform is intended for mid-price solutions that require relatively high performance, especially in terms of working with media content. The main feature of the MT6735 is its support for most cellular networks in the world, which is why this chip is increasingly becoming the main one for budget 4G smartphones.

The volume of internal memory is 8 GB, of which about 4 GB is available, quite a bit, but it is possible to install a microSD memory card. The RAM is 1 GB, which is a little disappointing, even though the device is inexpensive, but adding an extra gigabyte of memory was very the right decision. After downloading, 590 MB is available to the user random access memory.

As you might have guessed, you shouldn’t expect high performance from the tested smartphone; after all, the engineers relied on autonomy, and based on this, they selected the platform as the most economical in terms of energy consumption, but at the same time not completely weak in performance. In the AnTuTu v6.0.1 test we get 25123 points, not much, but not the lowest among smartphones of this type price category. In other tests the result is similar, sort of average.

Graphics tests at medium settings show about 50 fps. The result is not bad and suggests that it is quite possible to play games not at maximum settings. For example, the popular Dead Trigger 2 or Asphalt 8 launch and perform well on this smartphone. Newer and more “heavy” 3D games may cause problems, but the Blade X3 cannot be classified as a gaming smartphone.

As for the speed of work in everyday tasks, everything is fine here. There are no slowdowns in the interface, applications open quite quickly. When you open multiple tabs in the browser, performance does not decrease.

Multimedia

The smartphone has several settings to improve sound; they are quite primitive, but still may be useful to someone. As already mentioned, the sound through the main speaker is not bad, with a high volume reserve. The sound quality in the headphones is good; listening to music is quite possible, especially if you choose headphones of decent quality. The built-in player is absolutely standard, a minimum of functions, but enough for the average user; those who need advanced settings and an advanced equalizer can easily download their favorite player from the market.

Using AnTuTu Video Tester we checked compatibility with various formats video. Most of the files were played back without problems; the smartphone can only handle 2K and 4K video, but this is not at all critical for a budget device.

Wireless interfaces

ZTE Blade X3 works both in the usual 2G and 3G networks, and in the less common 4G, although recently operators have tried and covered almost all major cities with LTE coverage, so the presence of support for this generation of networks is now very important. The smartphone supports LTE frequencies 800/900/1800/2100/2600, which means it works correctly with any Russian operator. Reception quality cellular network does not raise any questions, where there is a coverage area, there is also reception on the smartphone. In addition, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are supported, but this will definitely not surprise anyone.

For navigation, a GPS module with A-GPS support is used; the Russian GLONASS network, unfortunately, is not supported. "Cold start" GPS takes no more than 10 seconds, location accuracy is high.

Camera

The camera interface has not undergone significant changes. There are minimal settings, there are several effects, but you are unlikely to use them. The quality of the pictures corresponds to the price of the smartphone; you can’t get any masterpiece shots with this camera, but you can photograph a schedule on a board or text in a book. In good lighting outdoors you can get at least some acceptable photos, but indoor photos in any mode are below average quality.

Examples of photos from the camera below, the last photo was taken with the front camera.

The video example also shows the low quality of the camera module.

Autonomous operation

And finally, the most important thing. The smartphone's battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh, which should be more than enough for such hardware. In practice, this turned out to be the case; it is not for nothing that the manufacturer positions the Blade X3 as a long-lived smartphone. In the AnTuTu Tester battery test we received a whopping 10443 points, which is a lot. Discharging the battery from 100% to 19% took a little over 6 hours, and this was under maximum load. In everyday use, a full battery charge will last for 12 hours of web surfing via Wi-Fi, a day of music playback, or 13-14 hours of HD video playback at medium brightness. At mixed use You can forget about the outlet for 5-6 days. Impressive? Us too, especially considering the small dimensions of the device.

Eventually

In fact, even though the ZTE Blade X3 is positioned as budget solution, it gives the impression of a solid, expensive smartphone. This is facilitated by the excellent build quality of the case, good materials, support LTE networks, good display, stylish appearance. Separately, it is worth mentioning the autonomy, it is simply excellent. How many smartphones can boast of working for a week without recharging under average load?

There are, of course, not the most pleasant moments. The performance is far from prohibitive, but, in principle, sufficient for any everyday tasks, except for resource-intensive games and applications, a camera for show, and a small amount of memory available to the user. But, whatever one may say, the ZTE Blade X3 has much more advantages.

The price of ZTE Blade X3 ranges from 7,500 to 9,000 rubles. Quite justified for a device of this class and level of performance.

Pros:

  • Very for a long time battery operation;
  • Pleasant appearance;
  • Excellent build quality and case materials;
  • Support for 4G networks;
  • High quality IPS display.

Minuses:

  • Non-removable battery;
  • Low quality main camera.

Comparing all the pros and cons of the ZTE Blade X3 smartphone, as well as the overall impression of use, in our opinion, it is worthy of a high award from the i2HARD editors.

Autonomy is not strong point most modern smartphones. The pursuit of the optimal “autonomy-performance” ratio has probably cost many sleepless nights for engineers at almost all companies producing mobile gadgets.

Improving performance and increasing productivity often entails reducing time battery life devices, forcing the user to frantically rush around in search of an outlet at the first sign of a low battery. Using a larger capacity battery may lead to a change in the dimensions of the gadget for the worse. In this case, the device will delight you with a long operating time, but will have the size and design of a “brick”, which is also not always acceptable. Where is it, the golden mean?

Let's study the situation using the example of a smartphone with an increased capacity battery, ZTE Blade X3. Reviews about the device are somewhat contradictory. Has ZTE managed to achieve a long operating time of the device without recharging? And what did you have to sacrifice? Let's try to figure it out.

Unpacking and delivery contents

The device comes in a high-quality white cardboard box of a very unassuming appearance. There is nothing surprising in this approach to smartphone packaging. Many well-known manufacturers, even when supplying much more expensive and productive devices, prefer to use ordinary light-colored packaging in a restrained style without any special design flourishes.

Contents of the delivery set:

  1. ZTE Blade X3 phone.
  2. Charger.
  3. microUSB cable.
  4. OTG adapter for connecting external devices.
  5. A set of documents including a brief ZTE instructions Blade X3, which will make it much easier to get started and help you understand the basic functions of your smartphone.

Such a modest list is not surprising. The absence of headphones in the package has become the norm for most modern devices.

Appearance and design features

When we first met, I was surprised by the appearance of the ZTE Blade X3. User reviews on the Internet regarding the design of the smartphone are mostly positive. The phone looks finished and assembled. At first glance, you can’t even believe that it has a high-capacity battery; its appearance doesn’t give it away.

At first, the smartphone body seems inseparable. The rear plastic panel extends to the ends of the device. The fact that the back cover of the device is removable can only be guessed by the absence of a tray for SIM and a microSD memory card on the outside.

The arrangement of connectors and buttons on the sides of the device is standard. At the top there is a jack for connecting stereo headphones; at the bottom there is a microUSB connector and a speaker. On the right side there is a double volume button and a power button, while the left side is empty.

On the back panel in the upper left corner there is a peephole for the main optical module of the device. Nearby is an LED flash. The main audio speaker of the device is located at the bottom of the rear panel. There are protrusions on the housing along the edges of the speaker slot. They are needed to ensure that the speaker is raised above the surface for better sound transmission.

Almost the entire front panel, like most modern smartphones, is occupied by the display. Above it are the front camera, light and proximity sensors, as well as a speaker for conversations. At the bottom there are touch control buttons. On the left is the “Back” button, on the right is “Menu”, in the center is “Home”. The location is unusual, but it can be fixed. If desired, you can reassign functions to all control buttons through the smartphone menu. The buttons are backlit in a nice blue color.

The assembly of the device case raises absolutely no complaints. Nothing creaks, there are no gaps. Made of very high quality and reliable.

What does the back cover hide?

So, we found out that the back cover must open. You need to insert the SIM and memory card somewhere.

A detailed examination failed to detect any protrusions or recesses intended for opening the lid. Fortunately, Chinese manufacturer foresaw this difficulty: there is a short opening instruction right on the smartphone box back cover. It turns out that to do this, you need to hook your fingernail into the slot for USB port on the bottom edge of the device and pull it up.

Well, the lid is open, and an unpleasant discovery awaits us: despite the fact that the socket is removable, the battery cannot be changed. But why? It's completely unclear. Giving access to the battery and making it non-removable is at least a strange decision. Well, there's nothing to be done. On the other hand, the smartphone may not live to see the end of its battery; the owner will most likely change the device to a newer and more modern model much earlier.

Above the battery there are slots for SIM micro form factor, as well as a slot for memory expansion cards.

I was pleasantly surprised by the large number of screws under the lid. This once again speaks to the overall build quality of the gadget.

Specifications

Let's briefly go over the main technical ZTE specifications Blade X3.

Overall dimensions of the device: height - 145 mm, width - 71.5 mm, case thickness - 8.9 mm. The device weighs about 120 grams.

The ZTE Blade X3 smartphone is equipped with a five-inch IPS display. Screen resolution - 1280x720 pixels. Processor - 4-core Mediatek MP6735P, with reduced energy consumption, the Mali-T720 accelerator is responsible for the graphics. The volume of RAM is 1 GB, the internal storage is 8 GB. According to reviews, only 4 GB is available to the ZTE Blade X3 user, the rest is occupied by the system and pre-installed applications. There is support for microSD memory cards. The smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 operating system.

The device can accommodate two micro SIM cards. There is only one radio module in the device, so SIM cards can only work one at a time. The smartphone supports 4G (LTE) networks. Navigation is carried out using GPS satellites, there is support for A-GPS. GLONASS is not supported.

The device contains wireless Bluetooth modules 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 n.

The smartphone has a significant battery, capacity - 4000 mAh.

Screen

The display of the ZTE Blade X3 is the most ordinary. IPS matrix, HD resolution, screen diagonal is 5 inches, has uniform backlighting. The screen has a good reserve of brightness, which is more than enough in sunny weather. At the minimum brightness level, you can comfortably read the smartphone screen in the dark.

The color rendition of the ZTE Blade X3 display is natural, the viewing angles are decent, and the screen practically does not fade when tilted.

Smartphone performance - as expected

Used in smartphone Mediatek processor MP6735P with 4 cores at 1 GHz. The main chip of the ZTE Blade X3, according to its characteristics, is characterized by reduced power consumption, which should have a beneficial effect on the battery life of the device. Graphics accelerator - Mali-T720. 1 GB of RAM allows the smartphone to perform its basic functions. The built-in storage memory may not be enough for the buyer. The drive's characteristics include the figure 8 GB, but here the manufacturing company cheated a little, because only half of this volume is available to the user. In this situation, only the most unassuming consumer will be able to do without using a microSD memory card.

In performance tests, the ZTE Blade X3 smartphone, according to online reviews, showed an average result. You won’t be able to play “heavy” new games on your phone normally. The processor's low performance affects it. Regular games, such as Asphalt 8, run and function without problems on the device. In terms of the gaming component, the smartphone is, in principle, no different from most similar devices. At its price, the ZTE Blade X3 does not pretend to be a gaming phone (the phone will cost about 7.5 thousand rubles).

Camera: I wish it was better

The main optical module of the gadget has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Of course, nothing supernatural from the camera ZTE phone Blade X3 was not expected. And so it happened. During the day, in good weather outside, the pictures turn out to be very good, but as soon as the meteorological conditions worsen a little, the smartphone camera begins to lose its position. Noise appears in the photo and the sharpness of the images decreases.

Of course, these are rather unfair “stones in the garden” of ZTE. The device is budget, and it’s simply pointless to expect more from the camera. It allows you to get nice photos under appropriate conditions, and to demand more from her is, at least, unreasonable.

The front camera is ordinary. It is no better and no worse than similar optical modules among budget class devices.

Wireless modules, navigation and communication

The smartphone is equipped with a standard set of wireless modules - Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 n. The wireless interfaces are completely ordinary, they can’t boast of anything special, but they work stably.

The built-in GPS module with A-GPS support is responsible for navigation. There are no complaints about GPS performance, satellites are found quickly, and the connection with them is stable when driving. Unfortunately, the device does not support GLONASS.

The sound component of the gadget

The sound reproduced by the device cannot be called outstanding. He's ordinary. Listening to music through the main speaker does not cause rejection even for people with an ear for music, but the sound cannot be called excellent. Rather, another word would be more suitable here - acceptable. This will be enough for the vast majority of smartphone users. When playing through headphones, the sound quality is quite good high level, although it may not satisfy true music lovers. This is confirmed by ZTE reviews Blade X3.

The sound settings in the pre-installed smartphone application are very primitive. Only the most basic parameters can be set. But if standard programs for listening to music do not suit you, you can always download third party applications with a lot of settings and adjustments.

A little about the software...

The gadget runs on the Android 5.1 operating system. ZTE Blade X3 firmware update over the air is supported.

The operating system works in symbiosis with the proprietary ZTE shell. All application shortcuts are located on desktops, there is a separate menu for working with installed programs No.

I liked the ability to reprogram the control buttons located under the screen.

IN factory firmware ZTE Blade X3 comes with a standard set of pre-installed applications.

The battery, or what it all started for...

So we get to the main feature of the ZTE Blade X3 smartphone - a battery with a long battery life. The manufacturer promises a long operating time without charging, however, as they say, trust, but verify. Let's see what the phone battery is capable of.

Tests revealed the following results: when watching videos in HD format, the smartphone lasted about 15 hours (this is with a brightness value slightly below average), the battery capacity allows you to listen to music continuously throughout the day, browsing Internet sites with working Wi-Fi drained the battery in 11 hours . Now we add two plus two, figure it out and get a wonderful result: in normal mode, for the average user, the device can last a whole week! A very good indicator for a modern smartphone.

Of course, for the sake of autonomy we had to sacrifice performance, but here, as they say, to each his own.

Summarizing

In terms of autonomy, the device was a very pleasant surprise. Still, a week of battery life without recharging is very good.

The build quality of the ZTE Blade X3, according to reviews, was liked by many users. Everything is neat, nothing to complain about. Looking at the thickness of the case, you wonder how the developers squeezed such a capacious battery into it.

Of course, the smartphone also has its drawbacks. Performance is sacrificed for long battery life. The device cannot particularly boast of this parameter. The processor power is enough for everyday work and light games, but nothing more. The device’s cameras were also not impressive, they are ordinary, the pictures good quality can only be taught under ideal conditions.

Despite its shortcomings, the ZTE Blade X3 will find its buyer. Many will not pay attention to the performance or the camera, but will appreciate the autonomy of the device.

The cost of the device is about 8,000 Russian rubles. At this price, the ZTE Blade X3 is an honest budget gadget that has its disadvantages and advantages.

The ZTE Blade X3 in question is a representative budget smartphones. Everything should be fine in a modern mobile phone. What characteristics does it show us? this phone? The screen diagonal is 5 inches and the resolution is 1280*720. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 OS and has the ability to install two SIM cards. As for memory - the internal drive has a capacity of only 8 GB, and the amount of RAM is 1 GB - these are quite average figures at the present time, but the price at which this device sold on the market, fully justifies this decision. The heart of the device is a 4-core MediaTek. The main camera is represented by a module with a resolution of 8 megapixels, and the front one is 5 megapixels.

The design of the smartphone is quite classic and pleasant in appearance. Besides touch screen, it is controlled using three touch buttons that have LED backlight, and when pressed, the phone responds with a vibration signal. It is also possible to customize them.

The rear panel of the phone houses the main camera module, LED flash and speaker. On the top edge there is a standard headphone jack, on the bottom there is a microUSB interface for charging the battery and transferring data, and on the right side there is a power/lock button and a volume rocker.

The back panel of the phone is removable. On the one hand, this is even better, because... available fast access to the inside of the device, but do not remove it too often, otherwise it may become unusable. Most of the space under the hood is occupied by a 4000 mAh capacity, which is not often found in cheap smartphones. If we compare it with other representatives of this class, the Blade X3 will be a clear leader in this indicator. Also in this area are the SIM card slot and additional cards memory.

The delivery set includes a USB cable, a microUSB-OTG cable and a power supply. The OTG cable is a rather unexpected piece of equipment that allows you to connect USB drives to the device. During the review this opportunity was tested and showed its best side. Also, using an OTG cable, the smartphone itself can be used as an external battery for any other device.

The display resolution is 1280*720, which is quite enough for a 5-inch screen of a budget version of a smartphone. The brightness of the screen is sufficient for the image to be clearly visible in any weather conditions, as indicated by user reviews. The screen is covered with a special protective glass, which can protect the matrix from damage if dropped.

There is no third-party firmware installed on the smartphone, there is only a launcher that can slightly diversify standard interface Android 5.1. Computing capabilities are provided by MediaTek MT6735 with 4 cores. The Mali-T720 video accelerator is responsible for the graphics. When exposed to loads, the phone heats up, but within normal limits. In the performance test Antutu phone showed results on average of about 19,000 points.

Accelerometer(or G-sensor) - sensor of the device’s position in space. As the main function, the accelerometer is used to automatic change orientation of the image on the display (vertical or horizontal). Also, G-sensor is used as a pedometer, it can be controlled various functions device by turning or shaking.
Gyroscope- a sensor that measures rotation angles relative to a fixed coordinate system. Capable of measuring rotation angles in several planes simultaneously. A gyroscope together with an accelerometer allows you to accurately determine the position of the device in space. Devices that use only accelerometers have lower measurement accuracy, especially when fast movement. Also, the capabilities of the gyroscope can be used in modern games for mobile devices.
Light sensor- a sensor that sets the optimal brightness and contrast values for this level illumination The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Proximity sensor- a sensor that detects when the device is close to your face during a call, turns off the backlight and locks the screen, preventing random clicks. The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Geomagnetic sensor- a sensor for determining the direction of the world in which the device is directed. Tracks the orientation of the device in space relative to the magnetic poles of the Earth. The information received from the sensor is used in mapping programs for terrain orientation.
Atmospheric pressure sensor- sensor for precise measurement atmospheric pressure. It is part of the GPS system, allows you to determine altitude above sea level and speed up location determination.
Touch ID- fingerprint identification sensor.

Accelerometer / Light / Proximity

Satellite navigation:

GPS(Global Positioning System) is a satellite navigation system that provides measurements of distance, time, speed and determines the location of objects anywhere on Earth. The system is developed, implemented and operated by the US Department of Defense. The basic principle of using the system is to determine location by measuring distances to an object from points with known coordinates - satellites. The distance is calculated by the delay time of signal propagation from sending it by the satellite to receiving it by the antenna of the GPS receiver.
GLONASS(Global Navigation Satellite System) - Soviet and Russian satellite navigation system, developed by order of the USSR Ministry of Defense. The measurement principle is similar to the American system GPS navigation. GLONASS is designed for operational navigation and timing support for land, sea, air and space-based users. The main difference from the GPS system is that GLONASS satellites in their orbital motion do not have resonance (synchrony) with the rotation of the Earth, which provides them with greater stability.

ZTE Blade X3 White - I can not decide

4 Kiryanova Anna Dmitrievna 13-04-2016

Opinion of a potential buyer
Advantages:
Well, judging by the characteristics, the phone’s qualities are not bad, one might even say “standard”. Camera, battery capacity, screen, white color (!), operating system, support for 2 SIM cards, it all goes together perfectly.
Flaws:
But I can’t decide which smartphone to choose - this one or this one bigger screen search with the same parameters otherwise.

ZTE Blade X3 White - Not a bad smartphone!

Nice build. High-quality HD screen -320dpi. Powerful battery. Holds charge well. LTE support (speed is about 30~45 Mbit/s for MTS). Well-developed software. There is practically no slowdown in work, the Internet flies. You can remove some pre-installed applications. The launcher can be changed without any problems (in my opinion, the best one for it is “Hola”). The main speaker is quite loud. The sound in the headphones is very high quality, in addition, there are sound “improvers” in the settings. The radio in the area of reliable reception produces excellent stereo sound without wheezing or hissing. Tenacious WI-FI. Fast GPS. The main camera is average, but takes good pictures in the dark, with flash, Antutu ~ 20,000 points. Lightweight (for such a battery). The headset is detected without problems.
Flaws:
3G/4G(LTE) mode only works on SIM1! SIM2 is for calls, and you can’t switch in the system! And this is very sad... It eats up a lot of RAM (out of 920 MB, at best, 350 MB remain available). There is not enough built-in memory, after installing 8 small programs there is only 2Gb left. The speaker is somewhat quiet. There is a problem with the automatic white balance of the main camera (photos and videos fade somewhat). The native 1500 mAh charger charges the smartphone in as much as 4 hours!!! There is no “foolproof” protection: due to the fact that the battery is built-in, there is a risk of burning the board when replacing SIM cards or a flash drive and the device is not accidentally turned off. With covers - a complete ambush! You will have to select a universal one or buy a “Chinese” one.
