There is backlight and vibration. The backlight is not a typical color - blue. As for me, traditional white or yellow is better, blue is less visible, and it’s ugly.
Visually, it may seem that the smartphone is made of matte plastic, but this is not the case. The plastic is very ordinary, without soft touch, moderately easily soiled and slips a little.
The rear camera module protrudes a little, but only slightly. There is an LED next to the camera, the power is low.
There is only one external speaker, the volume is average, the quality is the most common for a smartphone in this class.
The sides of the Thl W200S are equipped with decorative plates that imitate metal well (or maybe it is metal). Performance
The main advantage of the Thl W200S over its predecessor is new chipset Mediatek MT6592. The MT6592 configuration includes eight Cortex-A7 CPU cores with a frequency of 1.7 GHz and a 4-core Mali-450MP4 GPU. Thanks to this, the smartphone received above-average performance. In the Antutu test, the device showed a result of 27,491 points.
In addition to the chipset, the device was equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, while the latter can be increased by at least another 32 GB (rumor has it that the Thl W200S supports memory cards up to 64 GB, but, unfortunately, there is no way to check) .
Communications
Thl W200S voice communication is represented by standards mobile networks second and third generation - 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and 3G: WCDMA 850/2100MHz. That is, in our area all these standards are workable. There are two SIMs, but there is only one radio module. The network sees perfectly. The volume and sound quality of the voice speaker are average. As for the microphone, there were no complaints from the interlocutor.
Wi-Fi technologies 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth also work flawlessly. For example, in an apartment Wi-Fi network clearly visible through several walls.
GPS with A-GPS support. Navigation is standard for a smartphone based on SoC MT6592. After a cold start, it detects satellites in a matter of seconds, although not as many as its counterparts on Qualcomm chips.
Battery
Battery capacity 2000 mAh. Today this is not much, but for a Thl smartphone it is normal. For some reason, Thl stubbornly continues to equip its new products with not the most competitive batteries.
However, for a 5-inch HD smartphone based on the MTK chip, a battery of this capacity is quite enough for one day active work or two - in economy mode (calls and occasional browsing).
Cameras
Antutu showed that both cameras have a resolution of 13 megapixels, but in fact the front camera received a 5 megapixel module, and the rear one - 8 megapixels. All that is superfluous are megapixels increased by software interpolation.
The functionality of the front camera is minimal, there are only standard scenarios and digital zoom. In terms of quality, it doesn’t match its 5 megapixels, but it’s enough for video calling.
The rear camera is predictably better. There is autofocus and a much wider range of settings. In addition, for shooting at night or in poor lighting, LED backlight is provided, however, its power is barely enough even for a flashlight. But with good light and a good angle, you can take a good photo.

Responsible for the operation of the smartphone operating system Android versions 4.2.2. Chinese programs practically none, the Russian language is represented.

But the advantage of this model over its competitors is the presence of a large community. Design and ergonomics
The THL W200 smartphone is available in white and black colors. Back cover matte, non-staining, made of good plastic, closes tightly and in order to open it for the first time I needed a plastic card.
I did not find any play or squeaks, even with very strong pressure on the screen and body.
The smartphone has an interesting body design, with side metallic layers along the side edges. The black color of the case merges with the black color of the screen.
The phone gives the impression of a fifth iPhone, only 1 inch larger.
The phone's dimensions are: 141.5 × 71 × 9.3mm and weighs 155 grams. 
On the front panel there is a large capacitive touch display with a diagonal of 5 inches, a speaker slot, a front camera, three touch buttons “menu” and “back” and “home”. To the right of the grille covering the speaker, there is a large event indicator (shines red while charging), proximity and light sensors. The touch keys clearly respond to touch and have a faded blue backlight that is only visible in the dark. 
The camera lens is located on the back panel, led flash, external speaker slot. The main camera protrudes slightly above the body. 
On the right side there is a button to turn on the device.

I would like to separately note the beautiful metallic edging with a polishing pattern along the right and left sides of the case, as well as a design novelty: angular bevels of the upper and lower edges. 
At the top end there is a 3.5 mm audio output for headphones and a microUSB connector. 
At the bottom end we see a slot to make it easier to remove the cover and a microphone slot combined with it. 
The smartphone stands out for its unusual design: the thin body expands from the edges to the center. 
By removing the back cover, we get access to the battery, SIM cards and card microSD memory. 
It is convenient to use the phone with one hand. All keys have a nice tight stroke and are easy to find blindly. You can easily reach almost anywhere on the screen with your fingers. 
The THL W200 fits tightly in the hard bumper, the bumper fits well and protects the camera and body from damage. All connectors are freely accessible, camera slots, flashes are in place and cut precisely. 
Display
The phone is equipped with a 5-inch capacitive touch display with a high-contrast IPS matrix. It has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, with a pixel density of 294 PPI.

The screen resolution (HD 1280×720) is ideally selected for this hardware, this allows you to achieve maximum performance on MTK6589T. While in models with a FullHD screen (1920×1080) on the MTK 6589T platform, based on reviews from users of the 4pda.ru forum, stuttering in games is noticeable.

The manufacturer has provided the phone with interesting feature: To lock your phone, you don't have to press buttons or icons on the display; now you just need to turn it face down.

In my firmware version (07/03/13) there was no ROOT and I got it in a few clicks using universal utility Framaroot version: 1.6.0.

The phone lasts 1 full day on one charge with average intensity of use (1.5 hours watching a movie, 2-3 hours of Internet, 10-15 calls, etc.). At full load processor and maximum backlight, the phone will easily last 4-5 hours.

The performance test results are impressive, leaving the phone far behind more expensive models.
Despite the budget price, it makes a favorable impression of a business class smartphone. The body is thin, light weight, and can easily fit into any jeans or shirt pocket.
Reinforced 4-core processor and 1Gb random access memory enough for all tasks, including modern heavy 3D games with maximum graphics settings.
