Don't worry about losing documents created after the restore date - they won't be affected.

• After turning on the computer, without waiting for the boot to start, press the F8 key and select safe mode in the boot options using the arrows.
• Open the recovery utility. To do this, click the start button, type “system restore” in the search bar and press enter.
• Select the item of the same name from the list of results.
• Follow the program's instructions, select the date when the computer started normally as a return point. The computer will restart.

Creating a new user

Sometimes a black screen of death occurs when the profile is corrupted Windows user 7. Turn on your computer again in safe mode and create a new one.

If you do not have access to the Internet in safe mode, then you will have to start it with external media, flash drive or disk.

The program is very small and has virtually no interface. All you need to do is run fixshell.exe and click on Yes.

This program should be run every time you install Windows 7 from scratch, so that a black screen does not appear in the future - the program does not cause any side inconveniences.

If all else fails

If you have not been able to eradicate the computer boot problem on your own and the black screen of death has not gone away, you can turn to professionals or take advantage of the warranty (if there is one). Repair centers have the opportunity for deeper diagnostics, without the risk of damaging files and equipment.

If you are not going to trust your computer to strangers and you are sure that the components are in good condition, simply reinstall Windows 7. This will take no more than an hour, and the black screen of death will definitely disappear.
